I'm rating this review of Today Limousine a 1 because there was no category for -10 available. More than a month in advance, I arranged and fully paid for a 7 passenger SUV - non stretch to take 7 78 & 79 year olds from Albany to the Saratoga Racetrack, then to dinner in Wilton and back to Albany 8 hours later. I called 2 days before the event to confirm and instead of a call back they sent a written confirmation expressly confirming the non stretch limo would be available. Incredibly, a stretch limo arrived to pick us up and the driver said it was the only car available. It was a horror show! Seriously challenged seniors had to crawl along the floor of the car to get to the inside seats. It took us 10 minutes to enter the car after trying to figure out which 3 were the least handicapped. Took longer to unload. The temperature was 91 and after the track the air conditioning didn't work. The 30 minute trip to the restaurant was torture. It ruined my reunion with my class of 1968 college roommates and their spouses. BTW, I've called several times to discuss this disaster with Today Limousine and they don't even have the class to return my calls. They forced me to write reviews like this and to take them to court for breach of contract and I will seek punitive damages. This is the first time I wrote a review that wasn't a 5. And, this is not about money. I tipped the driver 25% because it wasn't her fault and she had to experience this disaster and listen to me. read more

I have used these guys for years and been very satisfied with their performance and have always given their drivers big tips. However, after my last experience I will never use this service again. Their driver left the passenger waiting at the airport for 4 hours by standing at the wrong entrance and did not have any identifying clothing or sign with her while she strolled around the airport. She proceeded to inform me that someone that looked like the passenger was taken away by an ambulance. Eventually I asked her to ensure she was carrying her sign and within 5 mins the passenger was able to locate her. In spite of all of this I gave her a 100 dollar tip. Only to go and find out todays limo went and up charged my credit car an additional 200 dollars without informing me or seeking my authorization. After my initial phone conversation with Today's, I was more than impressed. They were able to accommodate exactly what I wanted and needed. Our driver, Joe Marando, was on time and such a gentleman. He carried out my heavy wedding gown to the car and helped all the girls with their bags. After getting us all settled in he took us from Schenectady to my venue, The Old Daley Inn on Crooked Lake in Averill Park. Upon arrival, Joe again carried my gown inside and hung it up for me. Joe then turned around and went to pick up the guys to bring them there as well. He was perfectly on time and professional for both transports. After the reception Joe came back for us and even went inside the venue to get our boxes and load them in the car. I used Today's Limousine for a Ladies event on a Saturday afternoon. Everyone at the company was helpful and pleasant and flexible as I planned the event and waffled on time, drop-off location, and intermediate stops. We had a loosely structured afternoon that involved being driven around to various activities around the capitol district. Shane showed up promptly at my house with the sparkling clean limo ready to go. It took a few minutes to get the stereo system hooked up to our cell phone account, but that was the only hiccup. He was courteous, professional, and fun. He went out of his way to accommodate our trip requests, including driving across dirt roads and soccer fields to get us to the Oktoberfest. He also skillfully opened champagne bottles for us, took group photos, and generally made sure things went smoothly. Used as part of a group of ~16 to/from JFK from Troy. Limo (down) and bus (back) were rough riding, transmitting every expansion strip. Small potholes shook vehicles badly. Larger ones gave the impression they would fall apart. Driver to JFK was knowledgeable & professional. Driver on return trip was from hell. Brain dead, professed total ignorance of NY (not just NYC) and refused to listen to those of us who knew the roads or even basic directions like north and east After picking up at JFK, driver left Van Wyck to get gas. Couldn't figure out how to get back on! Wound up heading east toward Riverhead, entering Nassau County. Wouldn't believe she was heading in the wrong direction, so kept going miles after being told. Finally stopped at another gas station for directions (wouldn't list to us), and then exited the station continuing in the wrong direction! Went a couple blocks before making a U-turn. Didn't have a commercial GPS (buses are not allowed on the parkways that were given by her regular car GPS), and so finally just gave in and illegally drove on the Cross Island Parkway 'cause she couldn't figure out anything else. Went over Throgs Neck Bridge and headed onto the Cross Bronx Xway, a viable but sub-optimum route. About a mile before reaching the Deegan (I-87), she exited and made a u-turn!!!! Headed back to Throgs Neck Bridge. Finally listened to advice to stay left onto I-95 north, heading to the Cross Westchester (I-287). But wouldn't fully listen, and so got off around exit 11 and headed west on local streets, looking for I-87!!! After finally finding the Deegan (which she didn't recognize without help), we thought the worst was behind us. Nope! There were numerous encounters with the rumble strips that warn sleepy or inattentive drivers. When asked to stop at the next rest area (passengers worried she needed something to wake her up), she mistook Tway exit 16 (to Route 17/Woodbury Commons) for a service area!!!! Fortunately, we were able to convince he to make a U-turn shortly after passing through the tolls. When we finally got to the capital district, she refused to take exit 23 to get on 787. It is right there as you pass through the toll. But the only way she knew to get to 787 was to continue west to exit 24 and then backtrack by taking I-90 east to 787. Fifteen miles out of the way, rather than going 2 miles straight! She took exit 24, and several other turns, much to fast for safety. Almost missed the turn to head up the hill to HVCC. Drove past our cluster of cars after they were identified to her as our destination. All in all, a trip that should have gotten to HVCC at 1:00 am instead got there at 2:30, due to the ignorance, arrogance and general brain death of the driver. And the "manager" she was conversing with on her cell phone, while driving. I would walk or bicycle before I would ever use this firm again. read more

A person named Marty called me from the same number and informed me that there was a confusion and no shuttle was dispatched to pick me from the airport .He mentioned to call back to office the next day for a refund and to talk to the owner Dominique .After a 20 hr long flight I had to drive back home in a rental car for 3hrs .Until today the owner has not contacted me and the office does not respond to my calls . We got a 10 passenger limo as a surprise for my sons first concert.... We had 3 adults and 5 children.... Limo was early, which i expected him to be late as my house is near impossible to find, very impressed.... Our driver, Dame, offered to help us carry things to the limo that we were taking, he drove very responsibly, was not bothered by the kids talking his ear off or singing very loudly. Do yourselves a favor and find a professional limo service. Today's Limousine will ruin your event. They decided to tell me they were sending a different bus 1/2 day before our event. They double book their limos, whoever pays more gets the limo they want. Then they try to make up this BS story how "the party bus you paid for has problems with the engine" or something like that to the person who didn't get the limo they paid for and send them a different one. How in the world would someone call around and find a nice bus for 30 people less than one day before your event? Basically, they put you in a situation where you have to get what they offer you so they can still make money off of you. I paid $4500 for a luxury party bus. They send me a smaller 23 passenger bus without a spare tire and a broken down 8 passenger van. Oh yea, they still charged me full price like I got the original luxury party bus I booked six months prior. On top of that we had a tire blow out but the bus didn't have a spare tire so we were stuck for 2 hours waiting to get the tire replaced. To make a long story short, all passengers on the bigger bus never made it to the show on time and the 8 passenger van was 30 minutes late. That was another $5000 loss in tickets and all 22 passengers missed their 1st time in NYC seeing the Christmas show at Radio City Hall. When I called the next day to work things out and maybe get some type of refund they offered $500 towards my next trip which was basically telling me to go "f" myself. I wish I would have read some of the negative reviews before booking Today's Limousine! I also asked to speak with the owner and he never had the decency to call me back to apologize and try to work something out. I Don't understand how this company is still in business. We made two separate three hour reservations for a six passenger limo travelling to and from a friend's wedding. Both trips had courteous drivers, the limos arrived on time, were well stocked with beverages and we were able to make a number of pick ups, drop offs, and a lunch stop on the way! The value for the money was incredible especially when compared to rideshare prices for a similar trip. The transit time was spent chatting with friends from out of town rather than someone worrying about transportation logistics. The driver failed to show up. Called the emergency line when they were 10 mins late and finally someone came, 1.5 hours late. By this point we were going to miss our flight and were forced to change flights. Fees totaled $950 for changing the flight and not getting a refund on the hotel. The company gave us back 250 of the 355 total. Not good enough! When they took us the next day the driver was nice, but not nice enough to make up for the $700 they cost me. I rented the Mercedes Sprinter for my 35th birthday. We went to Turning Stone Casino for a ladies night and it was an awesome experience. Our driver was Aaron and he was great. He drove efficiently and safely and was also very helpful and attentive. The vehicle is beautiful and is equipped with dvd and a great sound system. The vehicle included champagne, soda and water. The sprinter is nice because we could walk around inside due to the height. There were also tables for eating which made it easier to enjoy lunch and cake. I was taking the limo from Kingston to Newark airport on Saturday, August 2nd. The driver arrived early 11:40. We left right away. The driver was very nice, but just didn't know where Newark was apparently. Plus, we were supposed to be going to Kennedy first for the other passenger in the car. We arrived at Newark airport at 3:15. Yes, it took 3 1/2 hours to get to Newark. Not good. Now if you mapquest the route it should only take 1 hour and 40 minutes. Needless to say our driver didn't know how to get to Newark. I am surprised in this age of technology that the car didn't have a GPS system. It would probably be in their best interest to invest in one. I see the reviews for "local" weddings and they seem to be great for that. However, if you are traveling to the airport, bring your own directions or GPS system. It was the LONGEST trip ever to get to the airport. I've lived in NY for over 30 years and I've never had a trip like this to the airport. I should've taken my friends up on the offered ride. Instead we had to run around the airport with no time to spare and didn't get a chance to eat. Starved all the way back to Seattle. We will think twice before I ever book with them again. read more

Not only did we pay in full for the rental, we did NOT receive the services, and then had to pay for cabs to take us back to our destination. 3 cabs totaling $275. (We traveled about 45 miles) Kenny was our driver and I can not express how scared and unsafe that he made not only myself feel in addition to the other 20 passengers in the vehicle. The company did not want to hear what we had to say when we called the following day to let them know of our experience. No apology. nothing. They don't even deserve one star. I am a customer who has used this service several times (at least 3 and this would be 4). Last night I booked a reservation like I always do. I received the email I always receive stating that I will be contacted by a "Professional" transportation "specialist". I know how the company works and I have to wait up to 48 to hear a confirmation. Well this morning I received this confirmation #10040364 (this is for the owner who thinks I am making things up). Then I received a phone call from the company asking me about my luggage. I even asked her if I was the only one booked and she told me she checked and it looked like I would be alone. She told me to have a great trip! Well, two hours later I receive an call that the shuttle is now fully booked and there is no spot for me. The lady tells me on the phone that I can be brought but it will be a private shuttle and will cost me $100 more than the $75 I already spent. I told her I could not afford this and I think it was unfair, she told me she couldn't do anything for me. I, being angry because i studied business and I know that you need to take the heat and pay for your mistakes, I told he that situations was f*cked, instead of responding to me like a professional, she hung up immediately. I should't have said that but it was in the moment and one word, if you work customer service you should know how to deal with an angry customer. When we called back we got a different woman who was very professional and put me over to the owner. He literally played the victim and was in denial. He told me that his company has a policy for online reservations. He kept saying I called them this morning which is a blatant lie. He also told me that I was not confirmed, again I can provide a screenshot of the email and I have the number. Then he told me the person who called me never said I was confirmed, I'm pretty sure asking what luggage was bringing, telling me all is good and to have a nice trip along with the already received confirmation is exactly that. I think this was handled extremely poorly. I do not recommend using this company as they are extremely unprofessional and don't follow proper moral business procedures. He acted like I should be grateful they offered me a private ride, however its like more than double the price I was confirmed for and I am a student. Even if I had attitude, it's my right to be angry at how you business operates and you should show that you are honorable and do the right thing. On February 2nd I used today limo's against my better judgement because a friend of the family had stated prior to me booking with them that they didn't have a good experience with them. The driver was a little rude at first and I'm a very friendly person, so I asked him are you like this with everyone... He asked like what? I stated rude which caused him to switch his demeanor. When we got to the club I asked him if we gave him extra money could we stay a little longer, and he said it depends on how big the tip is. on top of the $130 that was required he made out with over $200. He stated he would write in the book we went over on time due to weather. I called today b/c I wanted to know why the time went from 2am to 1am of which I confirmed with the female that I booked with originally. The guy I spoke with the day of the party bus explained to me that I would have to get on at 1am I did check the note I wrote about the time, and I was wrong of which I do apologize for that.but I was told by two of the females we get on the bus at 2am. I still asked to speak with a manger. I stated to everyone that I spoke with that I wasn't looking for anything but for what the driver said to be honored which was that I wouldn't get charged anymore money. I then spoke with a manger who went over everything, and stated what are you trying to-hustle something free of which I found rude. The driver isn't management so he can't do that. I fully understand he isn't management but you would of thought he was with how he offered to take extra money from people. I'm still in awe that a manger stated what are you trying to hustle something free, and one if I was trying to hustle something free. We hired this company for our wedding night and were told we would have a limo with a divider/privacy glass between us and driver, bluetooth music system and complimentary champagne. What we got was a 1980's limo with NO bluetooth, a 1980 add on car radio, champagne was kept in the trunk in a cooler and NO PRIVACY window. The driver, although a nice guy, decided to join our party and inserted himself in the conversation. To top off the night, there was this MOST HORRIBLE EGG smell in the car. When my husband asked the driver what the smell was, he said it was a catalytic converter and he had spoken to the owner about it already. WHAT? When we called and spoke with the manager, he basically said - we don't guarantee the divider, they would look into the smell and most cars have bluetooth he couldn't be sure if our limo did.
