I ate here while vacationing to New Orleans and had a strong craving for that food.. Yelp brought me to thailicious. Started off with crab Rangoon which is a must! Pad Thai is the best I've ever had! Rolls are all cabbage, blanket shrimp are ground up shrimp (very little shrimp taste)in onion paste wrapped in wantons and fried, fried tofu no salt and pepper, satay no flavor and we haven't tried the curry yet. Won't be ordering from here again.. read more

Neither I nor my wife had ever had Thai food before. We were unsure of what to order but Cathy, the waitress and cook and possibly the owner, was so helpful in helping us select what we wanted to eat. The decor in this place is like stepping into a different world, it may be located in a strip mall, but you would never know it when you walk in the front door. Place was clean and spotless, very inviting. Everything was excellent. I had the Thai spare ribs and they were excellent. The chicken steaks and peanut sauce we're perfect. My wife had the chicken pad thai with vegetables and hers was excellent as well. We highly recommend this place! read more

Thailicious is our very favorite place to eat in Slidell. We love the crab ragoons as an appetizer, the curry is always delicious and has the perfect amount of spice, the fried rice is chock full of beef, shrimp and chicken. My son LOVES the huge bowls of soup. His friends are over (9-11 year old boys) and he INSISTS they try the "most delicious food" at Thailicious... So off we go. :) read more

Ordered 2 orders of fresh rolls. When I order them, I asked if they could put just a little extra peanut sauce with them. When they came out, the peanut sauce was not underneath it on the plate as it's normally served. It was in a little small side dish. I was content because it was probably about the same amount that would have been in the regular dish had they served at the way they normally do. It may have been a teaspoon or tablespoon more. Exactly what I wanted. Well, when the bill came out, they charged me $4 for extra peanut sauce. I told them that I did not actually get extra peanut sauce, all they did was move it. She ended up giving me a dollar back. But, if there were going to charge $4 extra for peanut sauce, I would think they would have at least said something. Especially since I didn't actually order extra peanut sauce. I have been going to this Thai restaurant for many years. Ever since she moved from Robert Road. But, this was it for me. I will never be back. Unfortunate for them, $4 cost them a regular customer that has been going there for years. read more

What a gem in Slidell. I requested two dishes completely off the menu. The waitress was so sweet and accommodating. Then the chef came out to let me know what could and could not be done.
