Shrimp Pad Thai....perfectly prepared, filling, yet light. Absolutely delicious!

Excellent Shrimp Pad Thai! The taste & quality reminds me of flavors similar to restaurants in Los Angeles. I was very surprised to find such Thai cuisine in Slidell, very glad I did! The Thai Eggrolls are also delicious & obviously homemade...yum! Other menu selections are just as good. The restaurant staff is friendly, provides efficient attentive customer service. The restaurant is uniquely well decorated and provides a pleasant ambiance. Singha Thai Cafe is surely a place for a great dining experience!

Much better than expected. We ate here when it was Thai-licious and it is nicer now. The servers were friendly, answered our questions, and recommended dishes for us. The menu is large. We have tried a lot of dishes and there is always something else to try the next time. Try the roti! It is basically just puffy bread (like a sopapilla) but depending on how it is seasoned it can be very different. Definitely something that I hadn't seen before and it was tasty and fun. Note: the parking lot is small and tight and they share with the other businesses in the strip. If you have a big truck or SUV you might consider parking out on the edges and save yourself from door dings. I watched an RV drive in and he almost couldn't get out.

Cute little hidden gem in Slidell. After several attempts, we finally were able to catch them open. I recommend calling first. Off street parking, but lot is small as it's shared with neighboring businesses. We were greeted at the door and sat immediately. Everyone seemed to know the regulars, so that was heartwarming. Our server was very sweet and cheerful, checking on us constantly but not overbearing. We started with the special that day, crab fried rice and the red snapper. You will not be disappointed. The rice was seasoned well with lump crabmeat...and they weren't skimpy on the crabmeat. The red snapper was fried perfectly, came out nice and hot, full of authentic Thai flavors. It was topped with shrimp, vegetables and this delicious sauce. Not a spicy dish, so dig in! We also tried some pad Thai and a combination noodle dish, all delicious. I asked for spicy and it was the perfect temp. We washed it down with some lemon drops. They were made with the right amount of everything. Left us wanting more. Can't wait to go back!!

Best ginger fish in the south. I have tried all of the Thai restaurants from Pensacola to Lafayette. This place has the best Thai cuisine in south.

Came to try Singha Thai after seeing many posts on FB. It wasn't busy when I arrived in Saturday evening, with only two other occupied tables during my visit. The waitress was prompt and the service with friendly. The man who came by to deliver my salad and entree was very nice and checked to be sure I enjoyed everything. Good portion size on the green curry with chicken. My only preference would have been more thinly sliced vegetables but I am aware that is personal preference and others may prefer chunky vegetables. Flavor was good and, it while wasn't spicy, there was just enough heat on the end.

On our way to Los Angeles, one of our resting spots is Slidell Louisiana. For dinner, we decided to try Singha Thai. It had a 4.5 star rating. The restaurant is casual, friendly, and welcoming. The food was good. We ordered the crispy spring rolls. They were crispy and tasty. The dipping sauce was good. For entrees, we ordered chicken Pad See Ew and chicken Pad Kee Mow (medium spice). The flavors were delicious. The noodles were not the broad wide rice noodles. They were slim. The service was attentive and friendly.

If you want authentic Thai - LOOK NO FURTHER If you want to be treated like family - LOOK NO FURTHER The hostess was the most gracious and motherly person that I've ever seen. In a restaurant with 5 busy tables as well as three grub hub orders, she was charming, gracious, kind, available and so swift that no one was displeased. Not to forget, she was the ONLY one upfront - she was taking care of orders and bringing them too!!!!! The chef in the kitchen was the owner. To make sure the food was fresh, she cooks early in the morning and when the restaurant is closed from 2-5 for the evening!!!! The freshness showed!!!! The hostess was so kind that she made some meat dishes into veggie dishes - not on our prompting but on her own!!! It's been quite a while to see such service!!!! Especially so thankful to receive it in this post-pandemic radically behaving entitled customer service that we have recently experienced. While the food was spicy to begin with, she brought me the spice tray when she sensed that I may need more spice. The paste was perfect - not the kind thay scorches your tongue but allows your tongue to get enhanced to taste each flavor in the food provided. After that the egg noodles tasted even great with the pork so finely done!!! Thai tea was a blessing that I had never experienced before. Jasmine tea warmed the heart!!!! The fried rice was choice fully flavored - nothing and I mean nothing was overwhelming, which is very easy with such spicy cuisines. The mango sticky rice was made perfect!!!! Sorry to not have a photo for that - it was demolished before I could take a photo!!!!! Take the detour if you are coming close to New Orleans to step into this place. Deceptively small looking, the place is spacious and the food delectable.

Despite being in a strip mall, the restaurant was nice inside and not crowded at all. Good service. Red Curry was amazing!

Didn't this used to be Thailicious? Did the management change or just the name?

Just a new name and restaurant remodel. Same family. Food is great.

I am thinking about my leftovers as I type. I was in the mood for some Chinese food with good…read moreeggrolls. My go to spot is closed on Mondays, but I wasn't letting the craving go! I took to Yelp to see what Chinese offerings there were in Slidell and came across Bruce's. I remember trying them before because I was told they had good eggrolls. When I intially tried them, I rememberordering a lunch plate with an eggroll, but the eggroll was disappointing. It wasn't until I was about to leave that I overheard a customer requesting the special or house eggrolls. I clutched my pearls at the fact that there were two kinds and that wasn't brought to my attention. Fast forward to present day, I give them another try with the knowledge of the house eggrolls. We enter the restaurant and were greeted by our waitress, finishing up something she was doing, she was the only one working the front. She said we could sit where we would like and brought our menus and took our drink order. After asking some questions about ordering, I ordered the General Tso Chicken with combination rice and Hot 'n Sour Soup with an order of House Eggrolls. My date ordered the Sesame Chicken with combination rice and upgraded to the House Eggroll. My soup came out first and then my eggrolls. The soup was delicious, Hot 'n Sour is my favorite and every restaurant's is different. I then got to my eggroll, OMG! It was finger licking good! I devoured it and have to stop myself from eating the other to leave room from my other food. Once that arrived, I truly enjoyed every bite. You don't receive as large of portion as most restaurant I frequent, but it was plenty enough and there were leftover. I am glad I have found my go to Chinese spot in Slidell now. I will try to have some self control and not stop in for eggrolls every time I am in the area. Our waitress was so sweet, helpful and attentive. The restaurant is nice and quaint. We visited after lunch, so there was no other patrons when we visited. I will definitely be back. Until we meet again!
