Shrimp Pad Thai....perfectly prepared, filling, yet light. Absolutely delicious!
    Lou C.

Excellent Shrimp Pad Thai! The taste & quality reminds me of flavors similar to restaurants in Los Angeles. I was very surprised to find such Thai cuisine in Slidell, very glad I did! The Thai Eggrolls are also delicious & obviously homemade...yum! Other menu selections are just as good. The restaurant staff is friendly, provides efficient attentive customer service. The restaurant is uniquely well decorated and provides a pleasant ambiance. Singha Thai Cafe is surely a place for a great dining experience!

Much better than expected. We ate here when it was Thai-licious and it is nicer now. The servers were friendly, answered our questions, and recommended dishes for us. The menu is large. We have tried a lot of dishes and there is always something else to try the next time. Try the roti! It is basically just puffy bread (like a sopapilla) but depending on how it is seasoned it can be very different. Definitely something that I hadn't seen before and it was tasty and fun. Note: the parking lot is small and tight and they share with the other businesses in the strip. If you have a big truck or SUV you might consider parking out on the edges and save yourself from door dings. I watched an RV drive in and he almost couldn't get out.

Cute little hidden gem in Slidell. After several attempts, we finally were able to catch them open. I recommend calling first. Off street parking, but lot is small as it's shared with neighboring businesses. We were greeted at the door and sat immediately. Everyone seemed to know the regulars, so that was heartwarming. Our server was very sweet and cheerful, checking on us constantly but not overbearing. We started with the special that day, crab fried rice and the red snapper. You will not be disappointed. The rice was seasoned well with lump crabmeat...and they weren't skimpy on the crabmeat. The red snapper was fried perfectly, came out nice and hot, full of authentic Thai flavors. It was topped with shrimp, vegetables and this delicious sauce. Not a spicy dish, so dig in! We also tried some pad Thai and a combination noodle dish, all delicious. I asked for spicy and it was the perfect temp. We washed it down with some lemon drops. They were made with the right amount of everything. Left us wanting more. Can't wait to go back!!

Best ginger fish in the south. I have tried all of the Thai restaurants from Pensacola to Lafayette. This place has the best Thai cuisine in south.

Came to try Singha Thai after seeing many posts on FB. It wasn't busy when I arrived in Saturday evening, with only two other occupied tables during my visit. The waitress was prompt and the service with friendly. The man who came by to deliver my salad and entree was very nice and checked to be sure I enjoyed everything. Good portion size on the green curry with chicken. My only preference would have been more thinly sliced vegetables but I am aware that is personal preference and others may prefer chunky vegetables. Flavor was good and, it while wasn't spicy, there was just enough heat on the end.

On our way to Los Angeles, one of our resting spots is Slidell Louisiana. For dinner, we decided to try Singha Thai. It had a 4.5 star rating. The restaurant is casual, friendly, and welcoming. The food was good. We ordered the crispy spring rolls. They were crispy and tasty. The dipping sauce was good. For entrees, we ordered chicken Pad See Ew and chicken Pad Kee Mow (medium spice). The flavors were delicious. The noodles were not the broad wide rice noodles. They were slim. The service was attentive and friendly.

If you want authentic Thai - LOOK NO FURTHER If you want to be treated like family - LOOK NO FURTHER The hostess was the most gracious and motherly person that I've ever seen. In a restaurant with 5 busy tables as well as three grub hub orders, she was charming, gracious, kind, available and so swift that no one was displeased. Not to forget, she was the ONLY one upfront - she was taking care of orders and bringing them too!!!!! The chef in the kitchen was the owner. To make sure the food was fresh, she cooks early in the morning and when the restaurant is closed from 2-5 for the evening!!!! The freshness showed!!!! The hostess was so kind that she made some meat dishes into veggie dishes - not on our prompting but on her own!!! It's been quite a while to see such service!!!! Especially so thankful to receive it in this post-pandemic radically behaving entitled customer service that we have recently experienced. While the food was spicy to begin with, she brought me the spice tray when she sensed that I may need more spice. The paste was perfect - not the kind thay scorches your tongue but allows your tongue to get enhanced to taste each flavor in the food provided. After that the egg noodles tasted even great with the pork so finely done!!! Thai tea was a blessing that I had never experienced before. Jasmine tea warmed the heart!!!! The fried rice was choice fully flavored - nothing and I mean nothing was overwhelming, which is very easy with such spicy cuisines. The mango sticky rice was made perfect!!!! Sorry to not have a photo for that - it was demolished before I could take a photo!!!!! Take the detour if you are coming close to New Orleans to step into this place. Deceptively small looking, the place is spacious and the food delectable.

Didn't this used to be Thailicious? Did the management change or just the name?

Just a new name and restaurant remodel. Same family. Food is great.

The food was really good, but…read moreunfortunately the customer service experience had several hiccups that made the visit much more frustrating than it needed to be. When I first walked in, it took about five minutes before anyone acknowledged me. Once a waitress finally came over, I explained that I was placing an order to go, so I headed over to the bar area. The bartender greeted me and things started off pretty smoothly until he informed me that all of the cooks had just gone to lunch and it would be about a 20 minute wait before they could even take my order. Normally I probably would've gone somewhere else, but it was getting later in the day and several of the other restaurants in the neighborhood were getting close to closing, so I decided to wait. Once the cooks returned, he took my order, but then I was told their credit card machine was down and they were only accepting cash or Zelle. Luckily, I had cash, so that wasn't a huge problem. However, after paying, I noticed I was shorted about 86 cents in change. When I asked about it, I was told they didn't have any change available. It wasn't enough money for me to make a big deal about, so I just let it go, but it was still another small inconvenience added to the experience. I waited another 20 minutes or so and started noticing food coming out of the kitchen. The bartender brought several to-go orders out and placed them on the counter. After another 10 minutes passed, I finally started wondering where my food was. One of the hostesses asked for my name, checked through the orders sitting on the counter, and sure enough my order had already been sitting there At that point, I was definitely frustrated. It honestly felt like everything that could've gone wrong during my first visit somehow did. Once I got home and finally sat down to eat, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The quality of the food made me understand why people enjoy this place, and I would definitely be willing to give Thai Nola another try. I just really hope my next visit comes with a smoother customer service experience because the food deserves better.

I stopped in on a Saturday after 2 p.m. and was seated and served right away. The service was great, and everything we ordered was delicious. I especially enjoyed the roti, drunken noodles, and pad Thai. We went with level 2 spice, which was the perfect amount of heat. It was enough to add a kick without overpowering the flavors or blowing out your palate. Definitely a spot I'd visit again! Prob some of the best Thai food I've had in a while.

The drunken noodles were super flavorful on their own, and they definitely weren't kidding about the spice level. We ordered level 4 spicy and they actually added real Thai chilies into the noodles. But the real star of the meal was the dessert. The sticky rice was sweet, soft, and warm, and the coconut milk on the side made it good enough to eat by itself. Pairing it with the ube ice cream just took it to another level -- the mix of warm and cold together was so good. I've never had sticky rice with ube ice cream before, but honestly it might be something I start ordering from now on. Our server was really nice and patient, especially since it took me awhile to decide what I wanted to order. I also didn't go during rush hour, so the service was quick and smooth. The place itself is on the smaller side, but it's perfect if you're on the go and need a quick bite for lunch or dinner.
