I got the drunken noodles and a small fresh roll app. I would give 5 stars but the fresh roll app is way overpriced, compared to what other dishes cost in this restaurant and others around town. 2 fresh spring rolls cut in half to make 4 bite sized pieces. We were hungry so I turn on my yelp for a place nearby. 2 min away from the mall!!! Friendly staff and the place is nicely decorated. Our first time so our waitress was helpful in guiding us thru the menu. We end up ordering drunken noodle, fried tofu, Keang Jued Sa Rai soup and Pla Tod Lad Panang Curry. First off, the drunken noodle was my favourite, because my mom was sharing it with me, I didn't get it spicy like I used to order. Stir fried rice noodles with basil leaf, broccoli, carrots, bean sprouts, bell peppers in a spicy sauce.The fried tofu was fried perfectly. Deep fried bean curd, served with sweet & sour sauce and crushed peanuts. The Keang Jued Sa Rai soup was refreshing. It's has seaweed, shrimp, crab meat, and scallions along with seasoned minced pork. The waitress recommended to us. It was good but I should have stayed with the Tom Yum soup. My mom wanted some fish so the waitress also recommend the Pla Tod Lad Panang Curry, Deep fried catfish with Panang curry gravy and ground peanuts. My sister and I went to THAiLiCiOUS last night for dinner. Not too many folks in the place when we went. A total of 8 people for a majority of our visit. Unfortunately the service was slow....very slow. Our waitress was nice as pie, but the kitchen was not putting out plates fast enough. As far as the food is concerned, it was okay. I ordered the Pad Thai with beef at a level 3 and my goodness it was hot. I was struggling to eat it. I don't know if they have a heavy handed level 3 or I'm just weak but it was too hot. My sister had the green curry and she said it was okay. Not bad, just okay. We also ordered the crab rangoons which were great and some Thai teas. Then there was the mango sticky rice. It tasted fine but I just have to say the sauce looked like lotion. It was unusual and I couldn't finish it. I may try the place again but no heat. read more

Really a 3-1/2 It's so-so as Thai food goes. Positives: Most of their dishes taste decent. The Catfish covered in spicy peanut sauce and Panang Curry are good. Staff is really friendly and sweet. Negatives: Spring rolls are not good. Not fresh and have a funny taste. Portions are very small. Usually I can't finish a Thai lunch. Not here. I feel bad leaving a low rating like this but the food isn't very good. The fresh rolls are so bland and mostly noodles. The pad Thai was just sweet no real depth in flavor. The soup was alright. The girl who took care of me was super nice though and the restaurant is pretty inside. Might give it one more try and test a curry which is what I usually get at a Thai place. read more

Thailicious is a welcome addition to the restaurant scene here. It's one of only two Thai places in Slidell and the other one isn't that good. The chef and owner, Kathy, came out to make sure we were happy with our dishes when I dined in and personally handed my order to me when I ordered to go. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing in the restaurant and all of the staff are very nice. I've had: spring rolls (good) Pad Thai-chicken and shrimp (very good) Seafood curry (excellent) If you are craving Thai food Thailicoious is a delicious choice. read more

I highly recommend starting out with the Blanket shrimp. The Thai Tea is also a good choice. I always tend to stick to the Curries, all of them after amazing. So I was a usual customer but during the pandemic (May 2020), I had a bad experience with Takeout from THAiLiCiOUS, either their chef was off or the produce, chicken wasn't fresh. Anyway, I never went back as their are always other options/ restaurants in Covington and of course, New Orleans. That being said, last week, I was craving Thai food and didn't feel like driving far so decided to give THAiLiCiOUS another chance after 7 months and they didn't disappoint. Food was good like before from appetizers to entrees, por pia sod, fresh spring rolls cooked with shrimp, chicken and mixed vegetables, tom kha gai soup with sliced chicken in coconut milk, my favorite chicken Penang, yellow curry, indian style with chicken, Thai fried rice are a must order and pad Thai with chicken. Their white jasmine rice which comes with entrees are good too. I'm originally from New York City but this Thai place can match any of the Thai restaurants of NYC. And 4 people can eat easily for around $70 bucks. read more

We visited this restaurant last night after ordering from Waitr and receiving amazing woonsen. Well my experience last night was not good, it was actually pretty bad. First thing, there was only one waitress whom I must say was friendly, but was not enough to compensate for the slowness of service. We wouldn't have felt so bad had the Waitr orders not been flying out of the door every 5 minutes, meanwhile we had to wait at least an hour for our food. I will never visit this establishment again. The food was only decent not half as good as it was when we ordered through the app. I would highly recommend that anyone looking to order from here do so via Waitr, those orders we're going out as fast as they were being taken. Love this place! I eat here every time I come to Slidell. I always get their Thai ice tea, yum! Today I came late and they were getting ready to close but they took me anyway and even let me stay beyond closing so I could wait for my ride (tire being fixed down the road), which I appreciated because it was 95 degrees outside. We stopped by on our way home from New Orleans. VERY HAPPY WE DID! My husband had the Pad Tai with crawfish (I mean come on your in Louisiana), and I had the Pad Nee with chicken. We shared crab Rangoon's as an appetizer. The crab Rangoon's had a different taste than back home but yummy and unique! The service was excellent, very attentive, polite, and kind! This is a great place for pretty authentic Thai food. I've been here twice so far. I've loved everything I have had from here - Drunken noodle w/ tofu, massaman curry with chicken, and mango sticky rice. Everything had a great depth of flavor that hits you right on the spot. Some friends of mine have had the green curry w/ chicken and beef, the Thailicious pad thai, and red curry with shrimp. Everyone loved their food. They have great portions and quality for their prices. Another thing I noticed is how this restaurant is run. It seems to have a great familial atmosphere. I believe the lady who waited on us both times is either the owner or related. She was so sweet and welcoming. She also made the experience more memorable by interacting with us a little more than general servers. I will be coming here again whenever I am in the area. read more
