Amazing job. Single Moms was about $150 more than another highly reviewed company that i usually use, but their quality was worth twice that. They were extremely detail oriented. I've now had the pleasure of working with Single Moms twice: the first for a thorough, top to bottom house cleaning, the second for a regular two week cleaning. In both instances the women were exceptional cleaners: polite, professional, thorough beyond my expectations, and finding areas to clean which I, as a bachelor, wouldn't have noticed. Be forewarned. Horrible communication and unethical business practices are at the messy root of this business. Story: I completed a day of yelp inquiry (You know, when you submit a service request and then it goes out to several businesses and they get back to you. This is an inquiry. Not a binding contract - but this business claims otherwise). I received a day of cleaning - it was fine and I did not reschedule because of poor communication and over charging me. Please again note, after this cleaning service, and after over paying, I did NOT re-book. A rescheduled service was never discussed (on the phone or in person). I wake up to a random text a few weeks later saying "cleaning today at 1pm" and I said "Hi I am confused by this text, I have no appointment, please remove me from messaging." This service provider stated that I confirmed continual services from her (I did not) and proceeded to charge my card $170 for cxling an appointment I never agreed upon. I attempted to call and she texted and said she's busy. I emailed the owner and no response. My only option was to dispute this with my bank to get a credit issued to me. I had a weird gut feeling when she wrote down my card on a scrap piece of paper as she left my home... but regardless, you live and you learn and ideally share with others to prevent unethical behaviors from impacting others. Summary: Poor communication (very little English) and manipulated business practices - be aware. read more

I couldn't be more pleased. A team of four came to my apartment for a move-out one-time clean, and not only did they do an excellent job on all the things I expected (floors, toilet, etc.) but they cleaned the windows, cleaned out my oven and fridge, and scrubbed every surface they could find. I wouldn't hire this service again. Their broke my piano light and one of the burners on the stove was not working. They also rearrange objects on a shelf and turned my dish drainer around. With me being a disabled veteran with a brain injury having things in different places is very hard to cope with. Their cleaning was good but there was difficulty getting my thoughts across because English was not their native language. read more

Had three women come to clean a move out of a 900 sq ft two bed, two bath condo. I had pretty much cleaned in advance, but thought having a professional company come over would be a good idea as I was putting the condo up for sale. I signed up for three workers for two hours. The women were very pleasant. I was there the whole time fixing some electrical issues. My only concern was that they were basically completely done in 90 minutes and (in my opinion) stalled for another 90 minutes; wiping the same counters over and over, etc.. I would hire them again, but would want to set the time frame and tasks in advance. read more

I set an appointment to have my house cleaned Saturday-with the next day being Mother's day. My mom asked for this as her gift and was very happy to hear Single moms was coming. Story short, they did not show up. I called, I texted the owner with NO response. They ruined Mother's day for my mom. The owners explanation on Monday was that she lost her phone. Very unprofessional and not a valid excuse. No offer to do it for free or at least at a discounted rate. If you want reliable, I suggest you look elsewhere. read more

I hired this cleaning crew for a one-time deep clean. After they were done cleaning it felt like a new home my house haven't felt this clean since I first moved in( and I tend keep my house pretty clean). I was very impressed and the ladies were really kind and worked very fast and efficient. We hired this cleaning service on 08/19/16 to clean our house on 09/02/16. The appointment was confirmed on 09/01/16. On 09/0216 one hour before they were to show up they called and said 2 of the cleaning girls were sick and requested to reschedule. They rescheduled to 09/05/16 at noon. They texted us 09/01/16 they sent a text and said someone cancelled and asked to clean on 09/05/16 at 9:00. we confirmed the appointment. On 09/05/16 at 9:00 am I received a text stating their driver is sick and they can't come clean. To send a text instead of a phone call is not professional. To cancel the cleaning appointment at the time they were to show up is not reliable nor responsible. I would NEVER hire this company!! read more
