He took over an hour to meet with me at his Avon store to go over our club's options for new uniforms. He didn't try to sell me on something that didn't fit within our budget, which I appreciated. He was easily accessible and excellent with communication during the design process. He even went through extra effort to deliver our items to the greenwood store since we live in the area. We had many teams to provide uniforms for. Each team was separated and labeled by player. So amazing. Phil rocks! Great by themselves for socializing, but for work not so much. So began my search for chemisettes. For those of you who dont know these are some snazzy little inserts that hook onto bra straps and lie flat underneath a shirt to cover up the cleavage area. This way you can be covered in an appropriate fashion without all the bulk of wearing a tank top underneath. I stumbled upon this site and found two i liked very much. The site is easy to navigate and has an easy to follow guide on finding which sizes to order. They have several different styles (in terms of fabric type, with or without trim etc). Very affordable with most sizes being $8, with the extra extra larger sizes being $9. Staff is really friendly. I attempted to put an order through on their website and found an error page. I sent an email explaining the problem and i kid you not - within three minutes I had a reply. THREE MINUTES. They tried to fix it quickly but discovered it to be a larger problem than anticipated so they sent me an order form i was able to fill out online and submit via email. The items shipped the next day and I received them shortly afterwards. Both items are exactly as described, and the sizing chart was accurate. I've used chemisettes before but some of them are a little short, so they have the potential to poke out of the shirt. Which kind of just makes it look like your wearing a weird bib. not attractive. These are the perfect length to stay hidden without adding bulk. Yay!

I knew I had to visit his local shop in Noblesville to see what else he had to offer. Although this is a newer business and there wasn't a lot in the store, I was still amazed by all the handmade concoctions for beard oils, lotions, soaps, etc. My husband thanked me for making him aware of this place and he said that he would no longer buy the oils he was used to buying online and would now shop at the Rugged Company. Support local! There are leather cuffs, t-shirts, art, etc in this eclectic space. You have to go just to see all the great stuff he has, not to mention his homemade coffee. Apparently, it opened about 2 years ago and somehow, didn't have any Yelp reviews. Well, I always enjoy checking out gift shops, especially when they feature a great deal from local artisans. When I first entered, I realized that the shop has three sections/rooms. The first is mostly gift items featuring candles that are made by and support women at Wheeler Misssion, funny socks, and a variety of items that suitable for gifts. Many have inspirational themes as well. The room beyond that features women's clothing and jewelry. I will let someone else who knows more about those things review these items, but the space was colorful and easy to move around in. The back room, or man cave, is small but is a great place for guys to hang out while their lady friend shops. There is a TV back there as well as some items that might be fun gifts for men. They've figured out the shopping experience of married life here! ha! Although I didn't get to meet the owner, the woman who was working during my visit was friendly and very helpful filling me in on the source of items and how the owner supports other local businesses and artisans.
