Then we were told to complete the last project would require a change with a small increase in price to use some 4 x 4 instead of some 2 x 4 lumber.The work was completed on the second day by the employee and was satisfactory. The problem is when we received an $800 increase in the final bill. When we questioned why the final bill was increased by such a large amount, the owner did not give a reasonable explanation that we felt was acceptable . We reluctantly paid the final bill under protest.

He did quite a bit of gardening work for us to remove ivy and ground cover, then added yards of small stone to areas where we didn't want vegetation. We were so pleased with how hard he worked & how thorough he was and how reasonable his pricing was, that we hired him for some landscaping as well. He designed a fantastic tiered garden, using some existing stones from a collapsed retaining wall, and adding layers of stone pavers. Then suggested several low-maintenance flowering plants and added several yards of mulch to it all. It has completely changed the look of our backyard -- just gorgeous!
