In speaking with the owner, Ron Colon, I received many assurances that he would remove snow from the side porch, steps, and driveway of the home and put down salt for safe passage from the porch to the road so that my father could get to and from medical appointments without issue. Ron even offered to check on my father from time-to-time. All was going as planned for the 2020 winter season, with the company providing the service requested, until the first "real" snow of the season. My father's little home quickly became an afterthought. Snow removal occurred later and later in the day, if at all, with snow haphazardly placed here and there and erratic shoveling and salting. Calls to Ron often went unanswered and unreturned. On occasions when he answered, he gave the same reassurances as initially received but often failed to deliver. Despite the less than perfect service the first year, I renewed with the company for the 2021 winter season because my father still needed help and no other company that I contacted provided residential snow removal in his neighborhood. Long story short, service remained erratic and inconsistent. On two occasions when I was in Rochester, NY for my father's hospitalizations, I either had to clear the snow myself due to a now-show from All Property Maintenance, or to clean up the mess made from individuals who did the job too quickly and without care. You'd think that I would have learned my lesson. Well, I didn't. Yet again, I tried contacting Ron Colon seeking snow removal service for the 2022 winter season. I reached out by sending a text message that went unanswered. When I finally spoke with Ron he responded that he's decided not to contract with me for my father's home because of the street layout. Believe you me, I understand the challenges that my father's street present, but would have appreciate some sort of a communication from Ron alerting me of his decision. He has aerated, fertilized, supplied weed and grub control, resurfaced, and soil-graded our hilly front lawn by leveling it and reseeding and adding nutrients to it. He is open to customer concerns and will return to make things right, when necessary. We have used Joe Cutter's Turf and Snow for our snowplowing as well, until recently when I decided to plow my own due to the unusually warm winters occurring caused by climate change. He is thorough and takes pride in his work. He only hires dedicated workers who also take pride in treating every lawn as if it were their own.
