When I first moved to the area just a few months ago, I chose this pharmacy as my top option based on its high ratings and positive reviews. But that changed in an instant, and they are no longer my number one pharmacy. I was having surgery, and I had my prescriptions sent to this Pharmacy. I got a call from the staff saying that they couldn't fill my oxycodone prescription because they were backordered 3 to 6 months. That's unacceptable. That's a prescription that should be easily filled. It shouldn't be backordered. I asked where else I could find it, and they suggested calling Wegmans, which had it in stock and filled it very easily. I don't understand how a pharmacy could not have a prescription that is so common and needed when someone has surgery, like I did. They filled the other three prescriptions I had sent in for different things during my first couple of months. However, when you can't fill a simple prescription like that, you quickly switch to a place that can fill everything, and that's where I am now. I can't in good conscience recommend using Choice Pharmacy because they let me down at a time when I needed them the most.

About the only time you're not standing 4, 5 or 6 in line is on Saturday when the Jewish population in the area is observing the Sabbath. Even then, there seems to be only one woman behind the counter who moves like she's actually trying to get people in, out and on their way. The drive-through? Get in line, shut your vehicle off to save gas but keep the radio on to take your mind off the fact that you've been sitting in the same spot for 15-20 minutes. Considering the prices in the store, I can't imagine they can't hire at least one more person to open the second register that's frequently sitting there doing nothing. I'm thinking a drive to CVS on Falls Road or Liberty Road is going to have to be the way to go from now on.

The store is well organized and everything is easy to find. Prices are clearly marked, and the aisles are neat. Parking is plentiful, which made the stop even easier. I was told by whoever answered the phone "it's not ready yet". I called back an hour later I stated I need the antibiotic I was told "it's not ready". I want the entire evening in pain without the antibiotic. I called this morning 11/23 I asked the id the antibiotic was ready. The pharmacist told me "it's not ready yet so you get calls when your prescriptions are ready. I said "no". He then took my number and said we will call you when it's ready. I have been without an antibiotic since 4 pm yesterday. I had to request my doctor call it into another pharmacy. Just disgusting!!! Shame on you!!
