Our last lunch before heading home! We were lucky to grab the last table - it's not a large place so plan ahead if you are on a time limit. Kind of loud especially as people get further into their sampling! The painkiller is fantastic - highly recommend. My husband ordered the stuffed plantain and really liked it. It looked super filling! I had the fish n chips and don't quite know how to describe it. It was described as beer battered, and my first thought upon biting into it was possibly mustard? The breading was a bright yellow color and the fish had maybe been marinated in something or brined - definitely salty and a season that I couldn't quite put my finger on. The breadfruit tostones are interesting, glad to have tried - but I missed the fries on the plate. The coleslaw was salty as well and pickled, so overall I needed something a little brighter and fresh tasting to help balance (painkiller to the rescue!). The red bean hummus portion was huge without enough vessels to dip into it - just a few carrot sticks and mainly plantain chips. I'd come again but just for drinks and maybe an appetizer.

I decided to stop at Sion hearing that their vodka is made out of breadfruit..Wellllll okay that was my first hearing about vodka and breadfruit usually potatoes is the go to. I tried the Mango Tango...BAM I'm into breadfruit lol...It was delicious. The service was excellent..My friend asked a few questions about the idea of making vodka out of breadfruit and all his questions were answered without seeming like a bother. The ambiance is a nice spot to meet for brunch l. This is definitely a nice place to hang out. I WILL be back. Try 'em!

Can't say enough about this place but we would've loved to have discover it sooner! Friendly staff, Owner. Don't let the eyesore from the road fool you, this is a great little bar and restaurant! Drinks are great (You can even go on a short tour of the distillery and learn about bread fruit and how they use it making the alcohol, and the many environmentally uses that use up all the bread fruit; which is plentiful in the island) Food is great they have specials there, they had Karaoke and we had a blast.

Outside of the distillery. Easy parking. Large sign.

What a fabulous spot! I came here on a whim with a sleeping baby in a car seat and had an amazing time. The drinks were delicious! I got one made with the Roots infusion vodka and green tea which was cool, refreshing and not too sweet. Our waitress Jojo (an Angel who rocked my baby back to sleep so I could enjoy my meal) recommended the daily special which was a fried salmon sandwich. Because I don't like mayo the chef even came out to work with me on a sauce substitution. Her reaction to the chimichurri suggestion was all I needed. It was AMAZING!!! The fish was perfect but that sauce took it out of this world. I can't wait to go back and do a flight tasting. Anyway, I def recommend. Check them out and support this local business!

AKA Mutiny vodka. This place is fairly new. You can't even find them under mutiny vodka in GPS yet. We opted for the $10 tasting of four of their products. My favorite was the coconut. It wasn't sweet like most coconut flavored vodkas. If you buy a bottle, the tasting will be free. We took the short, complimentary tour. We learned how they make the vodka out of breadfruit. Their distillery is small, but they plan on expanding. Parking is available on site. They also sell food and cocktails. They had a booth at the coconut festival in town and I tried their painkiller cocktail. By far, one of the best I have had. Try it out. The staff is all super friendly.

This is a very fun hang out amongst locals with a view of the Mutiny Vodka Distillation room. Service was great despite how busy it was and we had a great time. Great for large parties and enjoyed a game of Uno at one of the large party tables!

Went for their Saturday Brunch. Great food, drinks, atmosphere, and service. Bought a bottle of their vodka for later. As it was close to Easter we got their drink called the "Bad Bunny"

I love this place! It was soooo much better than I expected. We came in for the traditional tour, but the experience was so much more than that. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and made it fun. While we waited for the tour to start we were offered drinks from the bar... Delicious! I had a passion fruit mojito and my friend had a Bloody Mary the were both great and the bartender is super sweet. After the tour we decided to stay for happy hour. The island hot honey wings were so tasty. My friend says the burger was great also. The food and the drinks were all great but the service was outstanding! Every single staff person we encountered was awesome! Hats off to the entire staff! JoJo, Chrissy and Sean thanks for everything and we'll definitely be back!!!

Eggs Benny with ham and potatoes, side of grits. Saturday Brunch.

Local Distillery and bar producing vodka spirits and serving bar food and Saturday Brunch. Great place for brunch that isn't just on Sunday. We stopped today to try the revamped brunch menu and it was pretty good by STX brunch standards. The soft scrambled eggs were perfect, bacon had a good smoked flavor, potatoes were good just should have been crisper, the side of grits was really good, the cook who cooked the grits knew how to cook them. The eggs Benny with ham was also really good, eggs were poached perfectly and the ham was a nice cut of ham. We did the pineapple mimosa and it was okay, we weren't thrilled with the choice of champagne used. FYI, get the jumbo sized mimosa rather than the regular size. Best time to stop is during the Monday to Friday happy hour since the drinks are $5.00 and the burgers with fries and chicken wings and fries are also $5.00. Good place to get buzzed before 6pm.

    Picadillo-stuffed plantain. Amazing!

A must-visit when you're on St Croix. Creative, delicious menu. Great vibe. Friendly people. Can't recommend highly enough!

The vodka is great (kinda sweet though) and is breadfruit based. The folks that work there are all friendly and willing to offer local suggestions. We didn't have the food but the drinks were delicious! The Mutiny Mule was fabulous - I got the hibiscus one and it has my full recommendation!

We were able to interact with various people along the tour. The tour was made interesting by our guide, Desha. At the end of the tour, we returned to the visitor center where we were able to sample 4 rums each and get 2 cocktails. Between us we tried 8 different rums. Both of us had the Cruzan Confusion which was the cocktail of the day. It was excellent and even better than the one that we had at Rum Runners. I talked to different employees to get a recipe to no avail. Everyone had a different recipe for making it. My second drink was made with their discontinued Guava Rum. It was disappointing to hear that Cruzan discontinued the Guava Rum since Guava is my favorite fruit. The Guava Rum was my primary reason for taking the tour because I assumed that I would be able to purchase some to take home. My partner had a Blue Velvet cocktail for the second cocktail. There is a very nice sitting area with several chairs and tables where guests can relax and enjoy their cocktails. One note of warning is that you should take all of your pictures while on the tour. Once the tour is over you will not be allowed to take any photographs even of outdoor buildings.

The team was very fun as well and it's a beautiful facility for being a factory. The best part is honest the sampling at the end and the included cocktails. After this waiting period, they take you into a tasting room to hear about the stages of the production process and you taste a few of the outputs which is all fun, then you go to try a cocktail. The options for cocktails are very limited and the store has a REALLY limited selection. You couldn't even buy bottles of what you tasted from the selection. The person running the store tried to make fun of folks wanting to purchase products stating that "didn't you listen to the tour, our distribution center is in Illinois, you can't buy it here!!!" This was a disappointing excursion and experience, wouldn't recommend. They gave me this lame wooden hockey puck at the end too to really say F U at the end instead of mini bottle of captain morgan as they promised. UPDATE: The manager on staff today 2025-04-23 came to my tour bus as we were leaving the place to give us an angry response about my review, looked at me on particular and blew me a kiss saying thanks for the 1 star review. Honestly insane work. Couldn't rate this place any worse.

They also wanted you to Reserve a Tour ahead of time Online. But the link on their Website doesn't work. Also, the waitress in the restaurant was incompetent . She asked for our drink order and was bothered when asked if they had a drink menu. To order food they only had a marker board with the dishes listed. But we had to wait for the only other table in the room that was looking at it at the moment. Then it took 20 minutes just to get bottled water. The Rum Drinks were so watered down you couldn't taste any rum whatsoever. And finally, the waitress was annoyed by us asking for the check and couldn't be bothered with splitting the check amongst the guests at the table. I rate the visit as a ONE, only because there is nothing lower !!!
