I actually found Sip on an event services website. After going back and forth with a few different companies, we decided to book them for our album release party back in December... mostly because the owner was no-nonsense with the contracts. They were also competent and prepared when we hit them with some logistical requirements. This was most appreciated since there was such a short time until the actual drop date. I was just praying that the actual event would go as smoothly and it did. We settled on a couple "signature drinks" and the drinks were a hit- presentation-wise AND taste-wise. They even somewhat incorporated the album title into how they served up the drinks- So slick! I know I couldn't be more pleased with the way our party turned out. I also know I'm going to call them up for a team-building event planned for March (I'll be sure to update you on that, as well). This was the first time I've ever worked with a bartender when hosting a party at home, and I have to say, Natalie really made my life SO much easier. I reached out to Sip based on reviews & location, and Natalie got back to me with a very fair quote super quick. We touched base a couple of weeks before the party, and again by email a few days ahead, and the event went super smoothly. She showed up an hour before our guests and was super efficient with getting our home bar set up, even though I threw what I thought was an overwhelming variety of liquor, wine, beer, and mixers at her. Things were a bit chaotic, but Natalie was refreshingly relaxed and low maintenance. We just showed her where all the stuff was and she took care of everything. The drinks were great, and Natalie was just as great to work with! She has a real feel for the vintage cocktails that we like and that we wanted for our wedding in downtown LA. I found sip bartending though a friend who used Natalie for her daughters 1 year old party. So I hired sip for a baby shower I was throwing for my BFF last weekend thinking it would be a nice touch....well let me tell you......Natalie became a godsend! I was by myself the morning of the shower having to do all of the set up on my own because of circumstances out of my control and needless to say, I began to panic. I texted Natalie and asked if the server and bartender that were scheduled to work my party at noon, could arrive earlier to help me. I knew it was a longshot but I was desperate. This was at 9am in the morning and Natalie (who wasn't scheduled to work my party) appeared in about 10 minutes like an angel and helped me for 3 hours without knowing me AT ALL!
