If you love carby belgian waffles or frozen cardboard waffles this is not quite the same, just something better in it's own league. We ended up buying a few bags of the mixes to take home and prepare. We have had fun with the recipe (it calls for 2 cups of club soda- but you can sub with anything fizzy!) and have tried various fun iterations. So the food was great but our experience, not so much, based on where we were sitting. I feel like they should not even use the last spot at the bar to seat a patron. Right next to where I was sitting is the place they bring the clean silverware to dry it off, then they would toss it into the silverware holder. The noise was very annoying and they did nothing to try to even be quiet about it. The other thing about that location is the register is pretty much right in your face, like 15 inches directly in front of me and someone was pretty much there the whole time. Other areas of the bar wouldn't be quite so bad, but next time we will wait longer to get a table or sit at the bar top that looks outside instead of at all the workers doing their thing and talking to each other. We were seated right away and the waitress was very attentive. I think she may have been newer because she had to continuously ask the cook questions regarding the menu. I ordered a burger (that was just okay) and fries (I thought they had really good fries). I also LOVED their ranch. My husband ordered the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich and there was quite literally no heat to be found. The breading had a very slight smoky flavor but it definitely left a lot to be desired. My daughter had the kids grilled cheese with fries. She enjoyed it. I'd love to see this restaurant make it, but they have a few things they need to tune up on.
