Sent an incident in over a week ago via email and still have yet to hear from anyone. Called the number on the incident only to be on hold for 10 min with no answer. My experience could not have been worse. I purposely ordered from here since since they offered curbside pickup during COVID-19 precautions. Went to village point to pick up order. No designated spaces for curbside pick up. Parking at mall was packed. Figured I would then just call number it says to call when arriving and they could just run it out quick when I came back around. Called 3 times and calls went straight to answering machine. So parked, masked up and went in. Order was ready. Asked where the candles were that had been added to order for them to say "we don't have them here" but it was an option on my order. Just when I think it can't get worse, I cut into my sons birthday cake that was to be layers of devils food cake and ice cream to find they forgot to put in any layers of cake!!! Have yet to hear from corporate or this store for an apology for the inconvenience or a refund. UPDATE: I would like to add the manager did give me a call and felt terrible. I'm going to swing by after work today for a new cake to replace the incorrect one we got. For that follow up and making things right I'm giving them a higher rating. I like Cold Stone creamery as an entity. This location is pretty low key but probably getting business when the theater is showing movies. This store is well maintained and clean. There are limited places to sit so its best to order your creation and take it elsewhere. Most workers do a good job with the creations and the outcomes are very good. Parking can be an issue on regular days or nights. I would park by the theater and walk vs trying to find front row parking in front of the business. read more

The manager of this store is awful. Asked over and over what my clearly marked service animal was for and to see my documentation to prove it. She then preceded to mumble under her breath that I was faking my disability and she did not want a dog in her business. After repeatedly telling her the dog was a service animal and medical alert for my seizures, she stomped off to the back of the store mumbling again that she is tried of people abusing service animals. If you are disabled or require a service animal, do not expect friendly service. read more

The short of it, I ordered a custom birthday cake and prepaid. I came back on his birthday and they hadn't made the cake "because the day before they didn't have yellow cake" I was argued with that the manager had called me, but I had no texts, calls, missed calls, or voicemails. The manager left me a giftcard for the exact price of the cake. I was never apologized to. I called the General Manager Robin that day and left my name and number and why I was calling and requested to be contacted, I wanted to give the possible benefit that she misdialed the wrong phone number or something. This cold stone needs to step up the game, the staff were unresponsive when walking into the store and although the girls were standing there looking at everyone, NO ONE was helping anyone! They were stunned at all the people that arrived at one time, but they took too long to snap out of it. Finally, when the girl started making my "Strawberry Blonde" she had an overage and instead of just giving it to me she slighted me on my other topping as she did not mix it well and "threw away" the leftovers!!??? Before coming here, read the reviews. I thought most of the reviews would just be from "Karen's" but no. I downloaded this app just to leave a review for this place. This location is so out of order it's honestly disgusting. Not a single table or countertop was wiped off. When I went to pay there was ice cream crusted over the counter that looked like it has been there for hours. There was 5-6 workers and only 1 helping us. The others were jacking around, one was flirting with the mall's security guards, two others were outside pushing each other around on a cart. There was at least of 6-7 people in line waiting. Knowing that they are insanely expensive for what you get I ordered anyway using a delivery service (another story for another time). I ordered tonight using Grubhub and I received less than half of what I ordered and even that was very poor. I basically received vanilla ice cream that was "top dressed" to look like it was mixed. I basically received about 4 scoops of ice cream for $35. I don't care how good they are when they get it right, never again. Cold Stone is like Dairy Queen for rich people. Their gourmet ice cream is prepared and served in front of you. They also have a knack for tossing your creation in the air and catching it in the cup, which is an amazing skill to somebody like me who can't even throw a basketball into a hoop three feet away. The only problem I have is the size of the restaurant. There are only two or three tables inside, and these are usually filled with crying kids. This gives the impression this establishment is always busy. In reality, having five customers in the store feels like a Black Friday morning at Best Buy - CROWDED. For taste, five stars. Cold stone was always a great stop for some tasty ice cream but tonight made it clear we won't be back. I appreciated that online had an option for curbside because this location is generally small and I knew they weren't requiring masks. I placed my order and picked a 9:15 pick up time. I arrive 5 minutes early and called the number provided. No answer. I decided to wait parked out front on the curb until 9:15 assuming they'd come out. By 9:30, and 11 phone calls later, I mustered up the courage to put on my mask and go inside (this is big for me!) I pushed passed the line and stood under the order pick up sign for 5 minutes trying to get the attention of a worker. There were 3 highschool aged kids tackling the crowd ahead of them. I finally got someone's attention and they went to find the order and said it would be a minute it wasn't made. 15 minutes passed pick up, it wasn't made. So I asked if they would bring it out to my car and pointed where it was. I returned to my car to wait. At 9:50 I became more irritated and went BACK INSIDE. They handed me my order and I said that I had been waiting since 9:15 and would like a refund for my trouble. They processed it and I went to leave and they said I could not have the ice cream. I restated that at that time I had waited 45 minutes for an order that I paid for and the refund was a way of them making up for that. They did not agree and said they wouldn't "just give $15 of ice cream for free" I said it wasn't for free, it was for the fact I waited 45 minutes for a curbside order I had to come in twice. I asked for the manager and apparently I was speaking to him. He said he could offer me 10% off but I wasn't taking the ice cream for free. So I left. Without ice cream. After a near hour of my trouble. I'm shocked at the lack of customer service of this store. I was NOT looking for a handout, infact I happily paid expecting it to be out 45 minutes prior. To get $5 off, download the TAGG app, take a picture of your receipt, upload it to the app, pick a charity for them to donate money to, and if you had spent enough you get a coupon for $5 off your next purchase. Had Cold Stone for the first time tonight. I ordered delivery through Door Dash. My order was correct which is always a good start. But I was really disappointed overall. The ice cream itself was ok, but not worth the premium price. However, what really disappointed me the most was that there was absolutely no yellow cake in my Surrender To Strawberry dish. That was the ingredient that I looked forward to the most. I can get strawberry and whipped cream and ice cream several places and even better versions than the frozen solid strawberry pucks that I had to eat around. But, it's not everywhere that you can get cake pieces mixed in ice cream. After trying Cold Stone Creamery tonight, I'm not in any hurry to have it again. read more

This place is overall a terrible experience. The staff looks unkept and makes me unappetizing as they approach me. For starters as you walk in all you hear is the workers banging their spoons on the counter, to some it may be threatening listening to this as they seem to hash out their life problems with each bang of the spoon at a time. The manager there REIKS!!! Of cigarettes. It stinks up the store and diminishes what little of an appetite i have. Now that I've ordered my ice cream I need a lid so I can devour my goodies in a better setting. After watching her sloppily throw my cream and candy together, she proceeds to mix my icecream with the dirty scraper she pulled out of other people gunk. As the manager hands me my lid, I get a glimpse of her finger nails, the nail itself was yellowing and the dirt underneath her nails is holding itself back from dropping into my lid, as she had no gloves on. holding myself back from vomiting I leave a pitty $3 tip. For the love of god I hope she puts that $3 into piecing herself together. This location is the worst of worst for customer service and wait time to make payment. Visited it lot of times and never had good experience, too long lines and the reason is the payment system! I gave order for 2 ice creams and 10 gift cards, made payment and the machine was not working to give the gift cards. Was asked to wait and 40 mins later in spite of repeated requests they didn't give me my gift cards. So I asked to refund and they said they can't issue refund for gift cards which have not even been issued! Finally the manager came and offered me to comeback this morning and that he will keep them ready and give me $5 token gift! Went this morning got the cards and was not given the token gift. On asking was told that it was never said! Coming to the products (ice creams!) I would give a 3 star. They are not great, but they are not worst either. The toppings and mixture combination will make the customer satisfied as one of them will be OK! Hopping that they choose one that they like! Location and lack of competition is to their advantage otherwise I wouldn't go there. P.S this is one of the very few corporate that still needs us to print coupons! read more
