I've used this place for catered food multiple times. They are the best deal in town. Each skewer of koobideh is at 3.50. They have hummus, bbq'd veggies mixed, rice, and awesome potatoes. This is a recent find for me and it is a jewel of a place. We've ordered Beef Shish Kabob plates the two times we've been there and they were delicious! The plate costs $8 and you get a very generous portion of tasty grilled beef served with beautiful, delicious basmati rice, a grill tomato, grilled chile, a side salad and the most amazing hummus. In the past we used to go to Raffii's for the Shish Kabob and I will tel you, that the plate at Sipan's is just as good but at 1/4 of the price. We're not Armenian and when we usually walk into an Armenian place we are looked at strangely and never feel welcomed. That was not the case here. The gentleman and woman in the store were very nice when we arrived and when we left. This is a meat store and it is very, very clean. All the meats looked very fresh and seemed well priced. I went into this place with such excitement because of the authenticity. I spoke Farsi to the guy whom look very Persian. Instead of him kindly saying I don't speak Farsi he was VERY rude about it. We got a skewer of Lover. It was cooked to perfection but no seasoning at all. Yes i will give Sipan meat Market a 5*. My coworker told me about the place to buy meat for kabobs. I recently order their plate of kabobs and so happy and enjoy the quality and taste. Price is definitely affordable compare to other Armenian place. I forgot to take a photo just to share how their plate looks like. It's the quality of the meat they serve., taste good, with hummus, salad, with grilled tomato and pepper..I also got some eggplant salad. That i believe they made them too. I have to try their sandwich next time. Great place to go and buy meat hes always got fresh meat and reasonable pricing. Ive know them for a long time and grew up with his son but im a chef and wouldnt go back if its poor quality but this place definately passes my standars as to quality of cuts, freshness, seasoning, marinating and all other criterias. First off, I'm not Armenian. But it's great because you don't have to be to appreciate this place. Buying meat at a grocery store just seems wrong after going here. The marinated meat is especially delicious. Prices are extremely reasonable, including the price of the BBQ. It takes about fifteen minutes to cook, most dishes are about $5 and the quality is outstanding. Best part is that it's only a short walk from my home and right on the way home from my gym. Glendale is full of great local grocers and eateries. Sipan is definitely one them. read more

I have recommended this place to everybody I can reach out to. Give them a try, it will be worth your while. Most places in Glendale feel like the medieval times when you walk in and see a bunch of Vikings staring at you and don't know how to assist customers. These people are nice and patient. Wouldn't mind coming here everyday for lunch. As a matter of fact that's exactly what I'm going to do. I know they're going to keep up the excellent service. They seem like nice people.
