    Best spot in Tahoe City. A true locals spot, never the same beer on tap. They have all the best, newest, and rarest beers. Bartender Ryan helped me out and was awesome.

    Great selection of wine and beer. Outstanding cider on tap up in the front (as well as awesome beers for those who can handle their gluten) as well as many liquor selections. GREAT STAFF! Fun atmosphere. Always great music playing and they'll let you choose the next song if you're into that too! Centrally located in Tahoe City near everything!

    Great place to enjoy and purchase good beer. They also sell the hard stuff. (Picture: Hop Nookie by Kern River Brewing Company. Purchased at SiPS buy enjoyed elsewhere)

    Ambiance = amazing

    This is THE place to come to just hang out, have some drinks, chill and relax. The owner is usually at the bar. He'll pour drinks for you, HAVE drinks with you, and be the best Dj you could ask for. Tv on the wall with a good CLEAN sound system. You can play your own songs on a wall mounted iPad as well. Amazing ambiance. Want to have a late night and chill? The owner is down to stay late and entertain. Can't recommend thus place enough. Come to SiPS and make sure you try the Nutty Chicken bowl which is FIRE.

    Another bike ride, another stop at Sunnyside. Unfortunately, they no longer serve the ribs... booo!…read more We both ordered the Seafood Chowder and split a slice of Hula Pie. The chowder arrived on the cool side, but the staff was very prompt about taking care of it, heating it up, and getting it back to us. There was plenty of seafood in every bite, which was great, but it needed some salt and pepper. I also think some bacon would have added another layer of flavor. I wasn't a fan of the focaccia bread that came with the chowder. It was more like eating a giant crouton. I think oyster crackers or a nice piece of soft, warm bread would have been a much better. The Hula Pie was huge and delicious. Definitely big enough to share! Despite a few misses, we enjoyed our visit. The next time we're biking in the area, we'll probably stop in again.

    Great spot with a huge deck out back looking out over beautiful Lake Tahoe!!…read more Food was very good ,my wife and I enjoyed the Steak frites dinner and chicken caesar salad. Steak was good, maybe just a touch under seasoned but it had a nice sauce on top that hit the spot. Caesar was excellent, dinner portion was huge and the chicken was delicious! Views from the deck and the overall atmosphere of Sunnyside put it over the top. A great way to finish off a lake day!! We were camping across the street at William Kent and loved the convenience of having a great restaurant so close. We will definitely be back next summer !! Last but not least is the house specialty dessert- The Hula Pie!! Macadamia nut ice cream cake/ mud pie kinda thing that was enormous and super yummy. Definitely should order light on the food if you plan on getting Hula Pie. Great food, scenery and vibes at Sunnyside , one of the best lake front dining spots in Tahoe! Cheers!!!

    Over the years one the places we would regularly eat at would be Rosie's Cafe…read more Food are decent portions and had trouble with the service. This last time service was so outstanding. The young lady that was serving us was amazing in making sure was taken care of. Definitely worth coming back to next year.

    Came in with my 5 year old and a 2 year old for lunch on a Tuesday…read more 56$ for one adult and two kids. Caesar salad was watery, with 0 seasoning. Impossible to add pepper, as the pepper and salt mills on the table hadn't been churned or cleaned in weeks, and I don't trust taking off the lid - if it doesn't shake out, the clumps won't add any flavor. When I say watery, there was less salad dressing (possibly less than a tablespoon of dressing) than water on the lettuce. There was no dressing on the bottom of the bowl; the advantage of a lot of watery lettuce is that there was a nice soup of shredded costco parmesan and water. 6oz of grilled chicken with no seasoning for 20.99. Ordered a plain kids hamburger, received a cheeseburger, charged for a cheeseburger. I don't understand how a cook can mess up an order for a plain, no-topping hamburger, but they did have a sign for "HIRING COOK ALL SHIFTS" out front, so I guess the kitchen is what it is right now. 6 Dino nuggies and approximately 10 French fries on each plate. Didn't even get out of the restaurant before the kids were complaining about the taste; fry oil was rancid or the frozen French fries had de-temped and soaked in thaw starch before re-feezing, air frying, and being served to my kids. When a 2 year old refuses to eat dino nuggies, you know they're dried to a crisp. This is worse than graveyard casino food from the shadiest meth cooks money can't afford, and I've been a security guard for those spots. Didn't even have an ice maker for drinks in here - this place needs to just close up and offer some better tenants the space to do something besides greaseslop. I don't understand how a cafe offering food this bland, flavorless, reheated-in-an-air fryer can stay open on main street in Tahoe City. It was hospital food being served to a number of retirees with digestive conditions.
