    Best spot in Tahoe City. A true locals spot, never the same beer on tap. They have all the best, newest, and rarest beers. Bartender Ryan helped me out and was awesome.

    Great selection of wine and beer. Outstanding cider on tap up in the front (as well as awesome beers for those who can handle their gluten) as well as many liquor selections. GREAT STAFF! Fun atmosphere. Always great music playing and they'll let you choose the next song if you're into that too! Centrally located in Tahoe City near everything!

    Great place to enjoy and purchase good beer. They also sell the hard stuff. (Picture: Hop Nookie by Kern River Brewing Company. Purchased at SiPS buy enjoyed elsewhere)

    Ambiance = amazing

    This is THE place to come to just hang out, have some drinks, chill and relax. The owner is usually at the bar. He'll pour drinks for you, HAVE drinks with you, and be the best Dj you could ask for. Tv on the wall with a good CLEAN sound system. You can play your own songs on a wall mounted iPad as well. Amazing ambiance. Want to have a late night and chill? The owner is down to stay late and entertain. Can't recommend thus place enough. Come to SiPS and make sure you try the Nutty Chicken bowl which is FIRE.

Patio is dog friendly and we appreciate it because not many on the westside of the lake cater to families with dogs . The food : Pho is good , I'd say average I had rice noodle bowl and It was good too , I added pork belly and it was tasty but served cold. Anyway, they make their own beer . There's also music after 8pm on Friday but it's inside and we had our dog with us and couldn't stay for it . We will give it another try since it's very close to our place and welcomes dogs !

We were super excited that the game was playing both at the bar and on a huge screen on the wall. First we were at the bar ... the server was amazing, the food and drinks were excellent. We soon realized that there was a group of mostly ladies, also from the same country, watching the game on the big screen behind us. They were very excited and boisterous and invited us to join them. The game was a nailbiter so the group was loud at the exciting parts. I remind you, the game playing was on a huge screen, clearly a sports atmosphere. The girls were not drunk or out of control. The manager (?) came storming out of the kitchen and told the ladies to quiet down, that "someone at the bar" had complained that they were too loud. Keep in mind - we had just been at the bar, everyone was watching, no one was "complaining" about them. The manager was rude and took all the joy and excitement out of the space. Just curious ... when you play football games on that big screen/wall, do you tell men to "keep it down?" Do you tell groups of male sports fans that people are complaining about them? Of course not ... can you imagine? So, five stars on food, drink and atmosphere, but taking two stars off for the sexism. Go enjoy the vibe and especially the patio, but don't go if you are a woman who might get too excited about a game.

Side salads were very good as were the fries. The also actually had oil and vinegar for the salad instead of saying, we have Balsamic, is that OK? Limited outdoor seating at lunch and about 10 tables indoors. Sports bar type vibe. The only ding is the speed of service. It wasn't too busy but they seemed short staffed. Portions were generous, price very fair for Tahoe City. We will be back!

Greeted and ordered quickly. 3/5 Cal Neva burger medium with garlic Parmesan fries. The burger was okay but nothing stood out. I usually get sourdough bread instead of a bun but forgot so that could be why. The fries were delicious and felt homemade with a lot of flavor. Ranch was a bit runny, so not my fav. 5/5 Fat Cat Mac with mushrooms and gorgonzola was so rich and creamy. The flavors were amazing. The serving size was small but it was reasonably priced. 5/5 hot tea - so random but I had a hibiscus hot tea with honey and holy moly that was delicious. I'd go back for the Mac for sure, but I'd need to try a different burger the as the one I got didn't leave av huge impression on me.

The lot was full, but we did take the last spot. The service was good and our food came out pretty quickly as the restaurant was packed, yet there was no one waiting. We ordered the fish and chips which were good. The fries were a bit cold, but the fish was hot and crispy. We also got the elk burger and it was good, but didn't notice a huge difference in the taste. The bbq sauce had a berry flavor and it was good, but not sure if I would enjoy it on the burger. The ambiance was chill and it cleared out pretty good by the time we finished. So if you're headed off the slopes or heading home for the day 3:00 is a good time to stop by with no wait time and good parking.

The service was quick and friendly but unfortunately the food was lacking in flavor. Our burger was well done and dry even though we ordered it medium. The fish tacos presentation was a bit of a mess. There was lots of fresh avocado and cabbage but it was indistinguishable from a salad. The beer battered fish in the tacos was hard to find. *I'd come back purely for the outdoor ambiance and the beautiful patio setting near the river. Maybe just drinks and apps next time?!
