I love sir pizza. It's not a cheap pizza place but their pizza is good. I use to go to the one on main street because it's a cool place and fun decor but this one on veterans is just as good. This one feels more like a plaza pizza joint not much going on but sitting down and eating. Not the same vibe here but the food is the same. read more

We won't be wasting our time ordering from this place ever again. Forget supporting local establishments that don't care about their customers or consistent service practices. Don't get me wrong they used to be great and the service WAS also when it wasn't ran by kids. Today I used their app and ordered a build your own 12in pizza. Got home it's half and half so I call b the family is livid and they say there's no solution bc THEIR system sent it to them INCORRECTLY. mind you as seen in the screenshot I didn't order it that way... So yeah we won't be back bc the woman that he gave the phone to was like there's no solution and we won't be doing anything about it when I asked if I could come trade this mess for what was actually ordered. This is a unique pizza style that is done so well here. Don't know anything about the history of this place but know it's been around for decades. This definitely has an origin in Shakey's Pizza. One branch became Happy Joe's in the upper Midwest and apparently another branch went south to Murfreesboro. The sauce, sausage, and dough are very distinct to those origins. Tried it when we moved here because it was so close and when my kids come to visit they demand we get it. This place reminds me of the 80s. If you didn't grow up then, you might think it's a little rough around the edges but that's what I love about it. read more

So, there a lot of folks that believe the pizza parlor is dead. Maybe for most it is. My partner who has cancer was craving good pizza. I think over the last 24 hours I've read every yelp review on every Italian restaurant in the Borro. I was intrigued by the Sir Pizza chain because the pies seemed reminiscent of the style of pizza that Is familiar to a specific town in Wi. Of the locations in the Borro, I chose this one because the reviews were consistent. Yes the salad bar was lacking, but that's because the foot traffic in the restaurant is lacking. What was amazing was the Service (McKenzie you were sweet and attentive)! The wings were fresh and piping hot! We asked for extra crispy and told us it would take a while. It did, but they were astonishing in their crispy skin and delicious sauce. Finally, the pizza was outstanding! The beer choices could do with an update. 1st time having food from Sir Pizza. Very impressed. I orders 20 wings and lasagna. Wings were delicious with the "Sir Midievel" sauce. Lasagna dinner was tasty, nice salad and scrumptious garlic toast. Great food and friendly service. read more

Have been going to Sir Pizzia since the 70's, actually had my first beer at the Nolensville Road location. The pizza tastes like no other. They make their own crust and sauce. They use Provolone instead of mozzarella cheese. All of their ingredients are finely diced including the pepperoni. The crust only comes in thin and the sauce and copious amount of ingredients go all the way to the edge. Their prices may seem a little more when compared to others but i promise you that they pile on the ingredients. They tend to have a lical cult type following snd i am one of them. read more

We had a pretty good pizza here recently. We started with salads from the salad bar and it was a bit of a disappointment. To be fair, they were very busy, but the lettuce looked just a bit worn and some of the condiments were empty or nearly so--I think i got the last cherry tomato. It was just an OK salad. The pizza was pretty good, though. The pepperoni was diced, not slices, but still it had a good flavor. I liked the crust, it was nice and thin and crispy. It was obviously hand shaped as it was not quite perfectly round, but it was decent enough. read more

As always wonderful thin crispy crust and that almost yeasty tasting pizza sauce. I've been eating Sir Pizza for 50 years. I'm not exaggerating when I say this. My grand mother would take me to the west Nashville location when i was a little girl and their pizza has not changed look, taste or size since then. When i say yeasty taste sauce its because when i was younger i once asked what they put in their sauce that made it so good. I was told they add beer and while I'm not a beer drinker i can imagine that this is exactly the ingredient that gives their sauce that just perfect but different taste. My pizza was ready within the time they told me it would be and it was covered to the edge with my favorites. Called ahead of time, was told they could place our group at 2 different tables. Got there 1 minute later and told dining room was full. They said we could wait for people to leave. We waited and sat at 2 different tables after they were bussed. They would not allow us to add a chair to a table of 6 to accommodate our group. 2 other families got up to leave and we were never served or even acknowledged. We finally asked a manager if we should leave and he said "YES!" Unbelievable! Rude staff! They have COVID rules that don't even make sense. None of their staff were even wearing masks.
