BLUF--it is a small, family owned business and they are there working. I'm sure that I never saw Sami take a break from making pizza and calzones the entire time. It is all on him. It does feel rather warm during summer because of the oven but they have fans to try to circulate the air which was on 61 degrees. Nothing fancy about the interior or exterior. The buffet had 3-4 pizzas at a time but when it's is busy I think it is hard forSami to keep up for the buffet and individual orders. I waited quite a while for my calzone and it was very busy Saturday early evening. It wasn't bad but it wasn't a favorite for me or my kids. They had the buffet along with my husband. I didn't like the idea of having to touch the trash can (street type) to throw away plates for my kid. Calzone wasn't bad but I would prefer to not have the seasoning on top and a tad softer crust. They certainly have a fairly good customer base though because it was continuous traffic in and out. read more

The best brick oven pizza in town! We're from New Jersey and we always look for a pizza that reminds us of home. I'd say this is 100% self serving. Be prepared to pick a seat, grab a plate , serve yourself and help clean up. It's part of the reason I really enjoy the place. It's okay to pitch in and be considerate of others. The crust was a delicious thin, crusty piece of just yumminess. The young lady was super sweet and the owner was nice as can be. Everything was fresh, from dough to cucumbers. It was a small, quiet atmosphere so you could enjoy it. It was clean, and the price was most definitely worth every penny! Best pizza I've ever had! We ordered the large Italian white pizza extra crispy and two drinks and with tip it was $41 - this is adult pizza. He also fed a Romanian family at no cost. If you wanted to the pizza that was on the buffet had time dates written down on posting notes so you know when the pizza was made. I decide to go with the buffet salad wasn't too bad. Seemed pretty fresh pizza with nothing to ride home about Dave would probably raided a 4.6 the rest of the pasta bar the meatballs look like they've been there for a couple years. THIS is the best pizza in town, the pizza is amazing but simple. Ingredients must be fresh because I never feel bad like I usually do when I eat pizza! I recommend getting the white cheese pizza and pepperoni first. I can tell the owner and or chef has poured love into every slice. Despite the wonderful reviews this restaurant isn't always too busy and is mostly quiet with good music and atmosphere, a great place for a date! Lived in the Boro for 3 years... I have driven by this place 100 times and never gone in. I ordered take out tonight from Sami's and it is hands down the best pizza I have had in TN since we moved here We ordered a veggie pizza, garlic knots, and a salad. Pizza was awesome! Crust was crispy. Not too much sauce. Not stingy on the toppings. The garlic knots and salad was great, too. Wasn't cheap... but it was worth it... Now I've been to Sami's a number of times and my first review of the place was not so great. But six months later Sami wrote me and asked me to come back and try again, and as they say the rest is history. I'm a fan of the Pepperoni and how he adds a light sprinkle of red chili peppers to the pie. I HIGHLY recommend the buffet...you get to try everything and if there is a slide of pie you are looking for...Sami will hook you up. The reason for this review...when I was there last week enjoying the pasta and pie buffet a customer came in and asked questions about the buffet. Seems the customer was hesitant and concerned about his wife (who was in the car) enjoying the buffet too, and it looked to me he was probably going to leave. Many restaurant owners would have let the customer walk out and moved on, but not Sami. He offered the customer a 2-1 buffet if he would bring his wife in to try the buffet!!! I always try to support small businesses...and I am a huge fan of Sami's not only for his food, but for the incredible way he treats his customers! read more

This is the best pizza I've eaten in the Boro. The ambiance is amazing. Flickering lights and relaxed cafe music evoke a laid back experience found only in bistros across Europe or in authentic Italian neighborhoods in the U.S. The buffet is a great introduction to all the wood fired pies Sami cranks out and keeps a-coming. This is not a buffet that leaves you waiting on pies. This wood fired style pizza and combination of toppings is a hidden gem in Murfreesboro and I hope it continues to be lauded. This was my first time here and won't be my last! Highly recommend, and quite frankly, we're lucky we have a place like this in the Boro!!! read more

Nice big parking lot! I ordered to-go the meat lovers on regular crust and the supreme Sicilian style, which had a thick crust, rubbed with salt and seasoning. Both pizzas had a good amount of toppings and tasted great. The service was very fast and friendly. It was $61 for the two pizzas and tax and before a tip, so not something we can splurge on regularly, but this place was worth trying! read more

Stone oven fired with plenty of mozzarella cheese and copious amounts of pepperonis sprinkled with a mixture of seasonings made for a memorable eating experience. The medium size pizza here is as large as most chain-store large pizzas. I can't speak for the buffet, but as I waited for my pizza to bake, the diners were making numerous trips to fill their plates. My guess is the buffet selections were equal to my pizza. Amazing pizza! I've eat here twice. The first time we had one white pizza and one sausage and pepperoni. I couldn't stop eating lol. No leftovers. The second time we got a stuffed white pizza. I loved the idea and the amount of flavor in the crust. Would recommend getting something with more toppings if you want stuffed tho. Still loved the stuffed white. Next time I'm going to get some more of that delicious red sauce tho! The couple that owns the place work very hard at this place and are really nice people. read more

Definitely impressed with this little spot! We walked in at 2:30p on a Sunday and I saw they closed at 3p. Buffet is set out, the restaurant only had 1-2 other tables. I got nervous, should we leave since they're about to close? Has this pizza been out for a while? Right away, the owner greets us and starts asking what kind of pizza we like while throwing some dough around and getting fresh pies started! Ok, I'm in! We had a party of 4 adults and 3 kids and had a great lunch! The pizza was really good, very fresh (even the stuff that was there when we walked in). And of course the service. What you say cannot increase that if I didn't enjoy it for whatever reason. This business originally had 3 stars from me but because of Yousif D.'s note I dropped it to 1 star.
