BLUF--it is a small, family owned business and they are there working. I'm sure that I never saw Sami take a break from making pizza and calzones the entire time. It is all on him. It does feel rather warm during summer because of the oven but they have fans to try to circulate the air which was on 61 degrees. Nothing fancy about the interior or exterior. The buffet had 3-4 pizzas at a time but when it's is busy I think it is hard forSami to keep up for the buffet and individual orders. I waited quite a while for my calzone and it was very busy Saturday early evening. It wasn't bad but it wasn't a favorite for me or my kids. They had the buffet along with my husband. I didn't like the idea of having to touch the trash can (street type) to throw away plates for my kid. Calzone wasn't bad but I would prefer to not have the seasoning on top and a tad softer crust. They certainly have a fairly good customer base though because it was continuous traffic in and out.

Family friendly , great food, comfortable

The best brick oven pizza in town! We're from New Jersey and we always look for a pizza that reminds us of home. I'd say this is 100% self serving. Be prepared to pick a seat, grab a plate , serve yourself and help clean up. It's part of the reason I really enjoy the place. It's okay to pitch in and be considerate of others. The pizza was delicious and always fresh and replaced with a bubly, steaming fresh pie. The meatballs and spaghetti were just like home cooked. The place is warm , family friendly and plays jazz music.

They've been open 7 years and I've always wanted to, (but sorry to myself i found out)I have never been until tonight. My husband and I went tonight and let me tell you, we did not leave hungry at all! Everything up there was absolutely delicious, from the pizza to the salad bar to the meatballs!!! The crust was a delicious thin, crusty piece of just yumminess. The young lady was super sweet and the owner was nice as can be. Everything was fresh, from dough to cucumbers. It was a small, quiet atmosphere so you could enjoy it. It was clean, and the price was most definitely worth every penny! If you haven't been, I recommend trying it at least once, but I know you will be back just like we will be!

My husband and I tried Sami's brick oven pizzeria for the first time today. So happy we did.! From the moment we entered the restaurant we were made to feel very welcome. We both had the buffet and the food was amazing all the quality ingredients, especially in the pizza fresh basil, amazing cheeses, and sauces to tantalize your taste buds. Will definitely be back. Thank you for the hospitality.

Ok. Not cooked thoroughly. Soft crust. Still doughy. Good ingredients, but definitely more of a buffet style than a high quality pizza.

Dined in and waited over an hour for a pizza. The restaurant wasn't even busy. Ended up leaving due to the wait.

The sauce is a wonderful balance of a delicious marinara with a bit a a creamy texture and flavor wich just put it in my best flavor category. The restaurant is a unique and fun atmosphere. With windows looking into the kitchen, which was very clean. The downfall for me and my guest was the way ordering is done. As a first time patron it took a little bit for us to get the hang of it. Especially since only one of us had a phone with us to see the menu. We just took turns looking at my phone. Unfortunately, my guest was taking me out and wanted to pay so he had to use my phone to put all of his personal and card information to pay. This it where they lost a star unfortunately. In the end, I do plan to come again and tell others of the amazing food!

The fettuccine alfredo had barely any sauce, was mostly oil, and the noodles were crisp on the ends. The taco didn't come with the cucumber, or the pepper that was shown in the original photo, the meat was very dry, and they gave 2 dried out limes, didn't taste like it had seasoning and the only thing you could taste was the cilantro. The burrito had a large amount of sour cream even though we specifically requested NO sour cream. The mozzarella sticks were bad, and the zucchini sticks were undercooked. The tiramisu we got was FROZEN, and the cannoli tasted nothing like it should, they forgot our drink (sweet tea) but gave us the straw for it. They also gave us a zip lock bag filled with what looked like coleslaw that smelt rancid, and there was a long black hair in the tacos, the sauce they gave for the tacos was good but in one of the containers there was something floating in the sauce, looked white. Only the wings were somewhat acceptable. I rarely give bad reviews, but this order didn't meet expectations at all, especially for the price. The food was fantastic, everyone was efficient. The manager was scanning the room making sure guests were attended to promptly. My only weird thing I thought was sort of off was the guy on the back side of the wall who was maybe the cook/grill guy? He just looked disheveled, his curly hair was unkept, falling out of his baseball cap, his shirt was unbuttoned, like a short order cook at a diner. Kind of a greasy presentation, which as soon as you walk in, there he is, bam. For such a nice establishment, he just kind of throws it off. I am 100% sure he is the genius behind the food. They did NOT disappoint!! I am officially hooked! From the moment we walked in, I could see and feel the sheer energy coming from the crowd and the ambiance: it already felt like great food and great people. It was packed to the brim for Wine Wednesday! They had one table available for two! Our server, Sarah, was outstanding!! She was sweeter than pie and extremely attentive! She always made sure we had exactly what we wanted when we wanted it. She advised sharing a bottle of wine since we wanted the same one, and since it was half price most wines. The young manager on duty delivered and uncorked the bottle, and she was just as sweet as Sarah! Her name escapes me, but I will find out the next time I go. The Spanish Tempranillo we tried was divine! It was perfectly balanced without being too dry or too tannic or too sweet. It was so smooth and thoroughly enjoyable to drink! For food, we started with the goat cheese bruschetta. It was perfection - rich in flavor and well balanced in the distribution of each component! From there, we tried the special of Steak Tips Au Pauvre - with a peppercorn wine sauce. We chose brussels sprouts as our side, and it also came with a side salad. We weren't too hungry, so we split it. Sarah even had the kitchen split both the salad and the main dish in half for us! The salad was so fresh (with ripe grape tomatoes!!) and the ranch dressing was classic and delightful. The wine sauce was everything I wanted it to be: rich, complex, thick, and buttery. It reminded me of the beautiful sauces you find on a steak or chicken dish at a sidewalk cafe in Paris. The dessert menu looked amazing, but we didn't have any room left. All I can say is you MUST try this place!!! If you can find Sarah, even better!
