Ive been absolutely obsessed with finding the best oysters happy hour in town and downing so many dozens of oysters in the process... I wouldn't have done my neighborhood justice if I didn't pay this beautiful restaurant a visit. I walked in here on a cold and quaint Monday night after a really long and exhausting day at work for my favorite treat. I got situated at the bar and ordered two dozen oysters on the half shell. The oysters came our looking phenomenal with a presentation that made me want to dig right in. Everything about these oysters are perfection. They are fresh, shucked with care so they retain their brine, they are a good size and taste phenomenal. The accompaniments on the platter are amazing. Cocktail sauce with freshly grated horseradish, a cucumber hot sauce that adds both heat and texture, a fat, generous wedge of lemon cut with Max juiciness in mind. This is one of the best oyster happy hours in Brooklyn by a mile and I say this with absolutely no exaggeration! The interior of this restaurant is also so beautiful with soft dim lighting and a clean inviting aesthetic. It's perfect for a cozy date night, intimate dinner or just a casual dinner with a little bit of oomph. Prices on most items are very reasonable, but the happy hour menu between 5-7 PM is an absolute steal! I deeply enjoyed chatting with my bartender Diego who is part owner of the establishment and learning how they procure their catch and personally taste the oysters they serve. You can just tell how much thought and care him and his partner pour in to running a beautiful neighborhood restaurant like this. If you are in park slope, this is the spot you absolutely have to step into. I can't wait to be back for more oysters and to try other things off their menu! 10/10

A great dinner at Siren BK! We ordered two dozen oysters and they were incredibly fresh and honestly some of the best I've had in Brooklyn. The prices for the oysters and the cocktails were surprisingly good, especially for the quality. We also tried the baby lamb chops, Caesar salad, goat cheese salad, braised beef, lobster roll, branzino, and Brussels sprouts. Everything came out well-seasoned and cooked perfectly. The branzino and lamb chops were standouts. Drinks were great too--Hugo Spritz, French 76, strawberry margaritas all balanced and not overly sweet. Overall, delicious food, fresh oysters at a great price, solid cocktails, and good service. Definitely worth a visit! The highlight were the apps for sure . I liked their menu from the summertime in 2024 when they had steak .

The food did not disappoint but I tried the 1/2 chicken and it was juicy and flavorful. It did take a bit of time for the dish to come out but my bartender was on top of things. The chicken did have a gravy which had poured on my chicken but I do know the chicken was juicy before hand. I have to say the space is opened and inviting but the staff really make the difference. My Barton's me the best Negorini that I have had in a really long time!

came for happy hour but only had 15 mins left of it so we made the best out of it. The oysters were HH pricing and you need to order a min of a dozen. The hot apps we ordered were decent, not to really rave about. Our espresso martini was good. Only complaint was that the place was really hot and we asked to be moved, the waitress said she'll take a look but never got back to us. Had a small meal but sweated most the meal.

I'm back! Great 4 course prix fix for $65 during the week. It was too much food for me, so I took left overs home. Reheats very well. Great happy hour! Cocktails n $1.50 oysters. Mon-thurs till 7pm and Friday till 6pm. I love the French 75 cocktail. Service is great.

Had a nice dinner here- everything was fresh and tasty. The oysters were great, and we also enjoyed mushroom masala, Caesar salad, mussels, and lobster bisque soup. Drinks were really good too. Overall, a solid spot for seafood with good flavors. Friendly service!

Small hip / sheek place with delicious food options at a decent price for park slope & delicious drinks! Can't forget the Great Vibes!!! The owner and his family are great hosts and really make you feel valued as a guest / customer! We celebrated a birthday and they prepared a special menu with a pre-chosen pre-fix menu - it was very cute, thoughtful and well put together, as well as on really good quality paper! So much so I had to mention it haha Give it a try! You won't regret it!

I came in late. But it wasn't good. The lobster bisque was an onion soup. I've never had crunchy veggies, onions and peppers in lobster bisque without lobster. The fries and the Brussels were great. The lobster and shrimp roll tasted like they burned it on the grill but it wasn't grilled. Like the gravy that burns at the bottom of the pot. I paid $136 dollars with tip for two shots, bisque, lobster roll, and Brussels sprouts. It was not worth it. Great ambience! Thank goodness for the kind bartender that got me food last minute. I appreciate the kindness. I wish I had just ordered drinks like the waitress said in the beginning. She said the kitchen is closed. I should have taken the hint. I have great pictures! You would have thought it was Michelin Star food. I don't mind paying for good food. Unfortunately, this was not.

Not bad, but nothing unique or spectacular! Pricy. First, I think they are very overpriced for the neighborhood, type of food, and service they offer. The whole "package" did not match the prices. Second, we were the only table on Sunday evening; I hope that's only the case for that particular Sunday (and no, that was not a holiday). FOOD We came to this spot for oysters. The oysters were okay, but half of the oyster's menu was unavailable, and the ones we tried were very salty (but that's not the restaurant's fault). The oysters were overpriced for the neighborhood. If I remember correctly, the price per oyster starts at $3,75... That's Manhattan's rate, not Brooklyn's, or you need to be a spectacular place in BK for that rate, where you pay for the location, the view, or/and how popular the place is. I was disappointed with Hamachi. The price was way too high for what it was! At least, what I have seen in other places was much better. The octopus was well made and tasted delicious, and the squid ink humus was fantastic! We loved it. The lobster roll was okay, but again, nothing outstanding that could have a wow feeling. SERVICE There is not much service to value. The one hiccup we had was that the waitresses asked us if we were Russians (none of us are), which was disturbing, given the political situation. And it was early in the evening when we just got seated. I personally have no reservations about that, but some people at the table got a bit awkward. One other thing: the waitress was also a bartender, and she messed up tequila with Mezcal. Other than that, it was okay. However, I cannot properly value service here because there is not much to value or be objective about. AMBIENCE Lovely and pleasant! But it was empty! We were the only table on Sunday night. They have a beautiful bar setting, and for a glass of wine with oysters, you will surely enjoy your night. I found this place somewhat good, but I did not have a spectacular experience. They tried to do well, and you can see attention in their dishes, but somehow, they did not get it 100% right! Maybe that was an empty night on Sunday, and that did not allow us to see the full potential of the place

I can't say anything bad about this place . I was greeted with a smile - service was excellent, the ambiance was extremely date worthy . And the food was good ! I came for oysters (so we ordered twice ! Lol) but I also ordered the arancini and the lobster ravioli. Both needed salt but the flavors were there ! I also enjoyed their take on an old fashioned called the renaissance fashion. Over all I have no complaints and I cant wait to go back !

Absolutely perfect spot for drinks and bites lets start with the fact that this is a PROPER OYSTER BAR - pencil and paper oyster order which you dont get much of in bklyn. the oyster selection was rich. pink moon, bad boys, beau soliels were favorites. we added caviar too which was power move. oh and the mignonette slapped. really good drinks and big mezcal selection got grilled octopus (delivious) and lamb chops (with mint chimmi) which were perfect plates along with the oysters. the space is nice and def vibes // very impressive all around .

The best dish here has to be the mushroom pasta! The wines are great. I wish the menu had a bit more variety. The staff was super friendly.

I've made it a point to visit every vinyl listening bar that I learn of in town, after enjoying the shared experience of someone curating a select vinyl list in intimate spaces in Tokyo. Few have been able to replicate the experience, but Honeycomb Hi Fi Lounge comes close. That the space is narrow with just a few seats along the bar and a few tables mimics the Japanese experience best, where you can almost have it so the whole room is having one conversation together. The music is the focus. The cocktail menu is rather simple, and my Stormbringer drink, with dark rum and ginger beer was not anything to write home about, but $15 is pretty low for cocktails these days so I'll take it. If they introduced new cocktails to the menu with more interesting ingredients I'd be more inclined to return, but the vibes overall are pretty good and the staff really nice.

My friend and I each order a cocktail, and are catching up. I'm from Brooklyn, however I no longer live here, and this was precious catch-up time with my friend. Then I get interrupted mid-sentence by the old-timer DJ from his low seat in a corner behind the bar. I had bumped the bar with my wrist (bumped my wrist watch as well, not deliberately) and then placed my hand down (granted- more than placed but definitely not slammed), and he decided to warn me that I COULD HAVE made his record skip. It was the Eagles or Santana (far from eclectic, but that's just me). I'm also 99% certain he turned the volume up afterwards, making it even harder to enjoy the company. After that interaction, I struggled to pick it back up with my friend, because I found that distraction very effing rude. When this "4th wall" gets broken down with service, it is hard to then enjoy the space in an uninhibited state. I am all for the Tokyo Vinyl Bar vibe, and I'm also for also giving talent an outlet to share their collection, but this interaction colored my experience, and I closed out after one drink and went elsewhere. I mentioned this to the bartender, and he was kind to offer a buy-back of a rare whiskey, which I did accept. 5 stars for the bartender, but 1 for my experience. I don't like to be harsh or unnecessarily cruel, but this is what it is. I have visited in the past and enjoyed myself. Nonetheless, I certainly won't be coming back.

Unfortunately this place fell very flat. Leading with what we liked: Their mocktail offerings were good, promising a 0.0% ABV which is hard to come across when mocktails are offered. They serve oysters, which adds to that aphrodisiac experience of the oh so 'wow this is a former brothel!'. The bartenders and servers were fast and very sociable with the more sociable customers. The immediate entrance is very tight, and it was uncomfortable navigating the space. We expected there'd be more seating in the back, which there was, but it was limited and not offered to us until we asked for it. We honestly had no clue where it would be and only asked because of how this place was advertised. While it was comfy once we made our way back there, it was reminiscent of a lounge style bar space that almost any bar could replicate with the right room and budget. We didn't feel as though this hit the spot and were let down by this experience. I'm not sure if I can judge the menu of drinks/ foods as expensive, but we left hungry bc we couldn't justify some of the prices. In addition, I've seen a lot of complaints about the volume of the music: it's definitely loud at the front but a lot lower in that back lounge space. It's as loud as any bar's music level would be, but truth be told we were expecting music that matched the vibe of what was advertised and yes, at a lower volume.
