Came to Brooklyn for a concert and found this place. Fantastic. We got the burrata, which was delicious and very fresh. I had the chicken bacon ranch sandwich, with grilled chicken, which didn't feel heavy at all and was absolutely delicious. The pork belly sandwich that my friend had was good, and he said that it had a spice to it that made it unique. We got a few rounds of the pigtail, and it was light refreshing and very summery. Boy, this place should have been fantastic and just couldn't get there. My top-tier chum who literally went to the school of hospitality and I stopped by here Tuesday night prior to the Nets game for some light bites and cocktails - I refuse to buy the overpriced crap at Barclays, so this seemed like more than a good compromise. I also had multiple chums from Brooklyn endorsing this spot, so everything seemed to be lining up for an excellent night. Unfortunately, I'm starting to think you just can't go to places like this on a Tuesday, but maybe it was just a bad night. I got here way before my chum due to our work schedules, literally 45 minutes or so. It wasn't 6pm yet and while there were definitely customers in both the bar area and the backyard outdoor section, it was pretty chill. I was able to secure a small table next to the bar right by the open window in the front (probably because the sun was glaring down on it, which wasn't an issue 10 minutes later) and just chilled out for a while, enjoying the excellent warm weather. This was the highlight of the experience, which unfortunately my chum did not get to enjoy. A lot of this was just unfortunate timing, I think. As I was waiting for my chum, people were practically streaming into the bar, probably about 25 or so, which I watched with increasing trepidation. Pretty much all of them wanted a drink, and there was only one bartender. They did not fix that problem until well into my chum's visit, so there was literally just the one guy making a gazillion drinks for about 45 minutes. Just no reason for that at all, especially given that they DID have the resources to divert and had a young woman back there at a certain point. But once I saw how crazy it was getting, I tried to pre-emptively order a second round, which he forgot about and had to ultimately be reminded of. It took literally half an hour to get the second drink. When my chum arrived, she went up to the bar to order her own drink and some of the arancini. She came back 10 minutes later and said she wasn't given the opportunity - THAT is completely insane. If you're so swamped that customers have to wait that long to even order much less get their drinks, you need help. Not clear where the disconnect was, but what started out as a great experience pretty much crash landed. Really disappointing. The crowd did thin out ultimately but the damage had been done. We were able to get the drinks but didn't bother with the additional app because we didn't want to risk missing a big chunk of the Nets game. So by not being even remotely attentive for a significant period of time, they left money on the table. I will say that the bartender himself maintained his professionalism throughout, and just kept making the drinks. Pretty much the opposite of what would have happened on Bar Rescue. This was on management, not the bartender. The drinks WERE good, which also made the service problems a shame. I got the Witch Doctor, which featured bourbon, rosemary, maple and lemon. Really well made, and appropriate for the unseasonably warm evening - it's the kind of bourbon cocktail made for summer. Would absolutely get that again. And the food was very solid. The star of the night was the arancini, which were featured prominently on the apps menu right at the time and promoted as one of their big selling points - deservedly so. These were honestly some of the best rice balls I've had. The cheese in the middle emphasized the flavors and wasn't too dense or overwhelming, the balls were cooked perfectly, and the sauce (the underrated part of rice balls for me) was delicious. Huge recommend. I also got a margarita flatbread to share with my chum, and that was good as well. Everything was going to come up short to the arancini, but it hit the spot. As mentioned, this was a random Tuesday night when maybe they don't have their full crew ready to rock. Maybe it was a fluke crowd surge? I just don't know, but the bottom line was that they weren't prepared for the customers who came in and were already there, and that's a big problem. If you can't deliver the same quality that you do on the weekends and predictably busier times, then you shouldn't be open that early in the week. Hopefully they figure it out because there's a lot to like here. read more

EXCELLENT!!! Here with friends and in their cute outdoor patio. Bailey was our server and they were attentive, suggested great drink options and made sure we ordered within the HH time without fuss. We ordered a TON of apps to share. Crispy fries (truffle or without), flatbread mushroom were delicious, the fried ravioli were perfect! I didn't have the Brussels sprouts but none were left, that's a good sign. I forgot my $20 off coupon! Definitely don't leave money on the table like I did. This spot was recommended to me by a friend and I'm glad I took it! I had a quick meal before a concert at Barclays. Service was quick, bartenders were friendly and attentive. There's no waitstaff so if you sit at one of the few tables you'll order at the bar. Vibes were cozy, low light and good for a date! I ordered the burger because a double smashburger for 12 dollars? In this economy? It was delicious and filling and the calabrian chili aioli added a lil something extra. Of course had to get the famous arancini! Just the Name caught. We were in the area and wanted to try something different. I felt like having some cider and a nice sandwich. I wasn't ready for the punch in your face flavor. Every ingredient in our dish was fresh with top quality ingredients and I was very surprised on the flatbread how crunchy and delicious but the sauce was they eclectic look and the amazing bartending service was top-notch. Came here on a Sunday afternoon with a group of friends. Service was extremely poor, probably the worst I've ever experienced. Food didn't come out for an hour after we ordered it, and after we ordered our drinks they took over 20 minutes to come as well. When we went to check on the drinks, we saw that they were just sitting at the bar, melting. Food was mediocre as well for how long we had to wait, but really frustrating experience since we came in to have a good time. read more

This cozy and inviting bar/restaurant had the perfect vibe and the food and cocktails blew us away! The pomegranate rosemary margaritas were on point. The Brussel sprouts were crispy, but not greasy at all and the flatbread was to die for. Perfect crust, fresh pepperoni and basil with a drizzle of hot honey. The bartender was attentive and friendly, so were the other patrons. We had a blast. Having lived in Brooklyn in the 90's we'll always have a soft spot for the area. This is a cute little cocktail bar by Atlantic Ave Barclay's center. The front bar area is cozy with bar top tables and tables scattered along the side andback walls. There's also an outdoor space but at the time I went, it was closed. A cocktail beer and wine list is available. I stuck with a beer that was recommended by the bartender and my friends got Moscow mules. They liked their drinks and said it was made well. The bar had a very relaxed vibe. We sat a little after finishing our drinks and weren't rushed our or pressuree to order another drink. This is a cute spot to go to if you're in the area. read more

The first words that I can think of to describe The Little Pig are OMG. WOW. Delicious! I completely recommend, my new favorite spot in Brooklyn. Food: absolutely delicious. The Arancini balls are delicious! The brussels sprouts are cooked perfectly, crispy with a zesty aioli on the side. The Italian sandwich, is superb! The pepperoni pizza on flatbread with hit honey...., holy moly, makes me want to put hot honey on everything now lol. And you can't beat the great happy hour prices! Very affordable and you get such great options and it's every day!The house white wine was chilled and oh so good! The service: super nice, attentive, super smiley and welcoming. The happy hour menu was simple but it had all the basics you would want like truffle fries and cheap beers. I got a beer and fries and it only set me back like $10. I'm looking forward to warmer weather, when we can take advantage of their outdoor garden area. We sat at the long booth table by the bar and they were so attentive. We ordered one of every appetizer and flatbread and had to reorder some appetizers the food was so good. My (now) wife and I held our welcome party here for our wedding weekend and it could not have gone better. Nick, Chad, David, and the whole Little Pig team were fantastic. I had never tried to order food for 100 people, and they helped me curate the food and pick out special drinks. The food was on point and people could not get enough of the toasted ravioli and arancini. Their cocktail the Pigtail was a bit hit as far as drinks go. The ambiance of the bar is awesome, the outdoor space is great for people who want some fresh air. I even got a compliment on the music because someone thought I picked the music (I did not). I could not recommend this place more for an after work drink and bite with a friend or for a whole event. They're terrific! read more

Ambiance - was a chill relaxing place. We sat indoors by the front window. Service - there was one lady (very nice lady) behind the bar taking care of everyone so she was falling behind. Service was still okay but just a bit slow when you needed something. Another hiccup was when we finally got the bill, their network wasn't working so we had to wait longer to pay. Then when we finally got the card to go through, she billed us for the wrong amount which caused another delay. Food - The crispy ravioli was mediocre. Flavor wasn't there and it only had a little cheese inside. Wasn't a fan of it. - Both sandwiches were excellent. The Italian sandwich was deceptively large and filling while the fries that came with the Italian pork belly sandwich was exceptional. What a gem of a place!! We've lived around the corner for 2yrs and never knew this place existed. Wished we discovered it sooner. Drinks are excellent and their selection of tapas are on point. Had dinner with a friend indoors, but peeked outside (it's absolutely beautiful). The first thing is the amazing decor and friendly vibe. Staff is lovely, very helpful. You do need to order food at the bar when dining inside, not sure about garden. My only suggestion is to put salt/pepper on tables and add a little more flavor or spice to the food. Truffle fries were great and the ravioli was unique in a good way but needed more flavor. Artichoke wasn't my favorite, but it was something different I've never seen before, not easy to accomplish in NYC.
