Our group of 4 tried this place for the first time Friday evening. We were seated immediately, everything was clean and orderly. They have a great cocktail menu, delicious and creative! We loved their twist on a MaiTai. Everyone loved their dishes.... pad thai, drunken noodles, pork fried rice, orange chicken. All excellent with generous portions (I would have loved a TAD more chicken in my orange chicken dish, but the generous portion of veggies was plenty to satisfy!). We will definitely be back. We went in and ended up waiting way too long. A table across from us came in after we did but got our food first, and even got another round of entrees before we had our appetizer. They got four entrees but only paid for two. My husband ordered another drink and we had to remind our server about our spring rolls, which came out a little cold. Then we waited another twenty minutes for our entrees. The pad Thai was really good, but the green curry seemed rushed and watery. Even with all that, we paid full price and didn't get anything to make up for the wait or mistakes. I always judge Thai restaurants by their drunken noodles. I got a three for spiciness. Spice was fine but it was the weakest flavor I've had in a Thai Restaurant...maybe ever. I had to get up and fetch my own soy sauce and after just a little additional soy sauce, it was much better. Plus, I had a Thai Ice tea which was 3/4 ice. When I asked for more, my server returned with another glass and said I would have to pay for another one. For $7, I declined. What a rip off! She didn't even offer to get some more water for me. Wow, great service and great food! We showed up on a Sunday night ~8pm. Ample seating options and service was perfectly attentive. We started with the steamed dumplings. Delicious! This was not a good experience. We arrived just after 6pm on a Friday night. My wife was in a hurry because she had to get to a meeting at 7:30. We ordered an appetizer (Chicken Satay) thinking she might have time to take a few bites of it before she had to go. My daughter ordered Chicken Phad Thai and I ordered Massaman Curry with chicken. The Chicken Satay arrived around 25 minutes after we ordered and just after my wife had left. That was unfortunate but I wouldn't blame our time crunch on the restaurant. It was not good though! The chicken pieces seemed like pre-cooked chunks you'd get in the freezer section of the grocery store to microwave. Texture was off. The peanut sauce was good however. The rest of our food came out probably 45 minutes after we'd ordered. The server apologized for the delay claiming they were busy though we saw only 2 other tables with people at them and this was a Friday night. The Phad Thai was horrible. My 15 year old is not picky when it comes to Phad Thai but she couldn't eat it. The noodles tasted burnt and it was just gross. My Massaman Curry was slightly better but certainly nothing to write home about. I had ordered it 2 stars and there was no spice at all. The chicken again seemed a little off texturally. It took some time for someone to come take my take-out order because there were only 2 staff in the front (1 waiter and 1 working the bar), so understandably. The server put away the special Valentine's menu without saying a word at our table (the reason we were there was the advertised special), and they didn't even know the restaurant's special started today; we had to tell them. I rarely go out, maybe 3 times a year. Huge disappointment, and was even overcharged about $89 for the $69 Valentine special order after tax. Go somewhere else. Not going back. Just my opinion. The restaurant is new and very clean with a bar and a VIP section at the right side of the restaurant. The tables had fake roses on them and soy sauce, creamers, salt/ pepper. The tables did not have chili sauce or thai fixings of any kind which imo should be a staple in a Thai restaurant. A group and I came to this restaurant because it's new and we wanted to try it out and support a new Asian Business, which we realized shortly after walking in that it's not actually Asian owned. It's owned by a yt man who in my personal opinion lacked customer service so it was a bit odd that he was the one seating/taking our order/ and bringing us waters/beverages. He seemed a bit dismissive. I asked for coffee and he said that he'd have to make it, kind of like it was an inconvenience for him. He came back and said "I hope you like it strong..that's how I like it" which isn't really a big deal but if he had to make it new, maybe he could've asked how I like my coffee before hand. It ended up being way too strong and I couldn't finish it. When our food came out, there was a bit of confusion because the waitress stated one of the dishes was drunken noodles and no one at the table ordered drunken noodles, but someone did order Pad See Ew, so we realized after confirming with the owner that it was in fact Pad See Ew, which also shows the lack of knowledge the waitress had on what she was serving. I tried some of my groups meals and I really liked the Tom Kha, it was my favorite and it was a Level 3 spicy. I got Pad Thai and it was not good unfortunately. I asked for extra sauce and it did not come with extra sauce in the end, also the base tasted less like Tamarin and more like vinegar. They should adjust the flavors and add more tamarin so it can have a more authentic flavor. Overall, I probably won't come here again, the vibe was just a bit off and I personally believe if you are going to appreciate culture and profit off of it, you should understand it fully and be appreciative of supporters and not arrogant about you being the owner. Also, perhaps hire on Asian waitresses/waiters or waitresses/ers with experience serving Thai food. read more

And it spoiled our evening with our son and his girlfriend. If I could give no stars I would. Don't recommend. *edit The manager has posted a reply and is trying to blame this experience on us. The fact is we were in the restaurant for an hour and left with no food. The people at the table next to us arrived after we did, ordered food which was served before our order was taken. They ate and left and we still had no food. We asked about our order at 6:45. My son left and 10 minutes later we left after having no food to go to our show. So no, we were there for over an hour.
