My husband and I were recently back in Santa Fe and I tracked her down at her location on West San Francisco Street. Her inventory of "one of kind pieces" is hard to find these days. Sissel is the owner/proprietor who knows her stuff! Not at many stores do you get one on one attention from the owner that she gives to all her customers. I first started doing business with Sissel's over 20 years ago. I have followed her store to three different locations in Santa Fe. We never miss a visit to her store when in town, usually once or twice a year. Every time we come to Santa Fe to visit family, we stop by Sissel's. It's our favorite store for Native American jewelry. Most of my significant old pawn pieces came from Sissel's. I would advise the lady that decided the chemical reaction her skin had with the jewelry that she simply return the item she bought.
