We had Sisters cleaning coming to our house once a week and at first they were decent but as time went on the service started to fall off. Different people coming instead of the regulars. People sitting in the van in our driveway not working, things that should be cleaned not completed. We called and texted the owner a couple of times about the lack of service and her reply was that she spoke to her people and they denied our claims, so essentially we were lying. She accused us of making one of her employees cry because we said she didn't clean the master bathroom. We did not confront the employee, the owner did. Again she denied any wrongdoing even when we sent pictures of the bathroom garbage and other things clearly not cleaned. The original quote specifically stated no contract. Sometime mid summer the owner sent an email, about 30 paragraphs long, loaded with fees and penalties and language about her employees signing non compete. The next paragraph speaks about Non solicitation of their employees and states "A violation of this agreement will result in a $25,000 fine", etc. No way were we going to continue to subject ourselves to declining service and an owner who thinks she can tell us what we can and can't do. Sister's cleaning has been cleaning my home for almost a year now. I have a two story colonial -4 bedrooms 2.5 baths about 2800 square ft. I found them from yelp. They are a family owned business and one of the sisters is always the lead and arrives with either one or more cleaners. Katharine came out and did a thorough walk through of my home asking what I wanted done , explaining their process and emailed me two quotes in a day or so and we went from there. I can't tell you what a wonderful help they're. I get home from work and high five my husband because we actually can have fun on the weekends now instead of fighting about who has to clean the home. The house always is clean and smells great when they leave. They always give a a heads up text the day before they come, which is very helpful. I am happy to give them a reference if needed. My wife and I hosted the after-party following our wedding a few weekends ago, and we had Sisters Cleaning come out for a full service cleaning leading up to the event. Within 3 hours of their service our house was completely clean - all the floors, carpets, bathrooms, countertops, mirrors, windows, showers, toilets... everything. Our guests were very impressed with how clean our house was, and I would highly recommend Sisters Cleaning Service. Sister's cleaning came to our home to give us a deep cleaning quote. Told us they were trying to rebuild their business after some issues with a family member employee. After 6 days with no quote, I called. Later that day they sent an email stating how busy they were (not what she told me at our home). Basic quote was $45.00 per hour, not to exceed $1,500.00. Yep, that is not a typo!! This equates to 33 hours to clean my average size 3 bedroom ranch. At this time, she promised a formal quote, which 3 weeks later I have not received. Top ten worst experience I've ever had. Five family members came and I was charged $30 an hour each. They sat and had lunch after three hours of work. They took 51/2 hours for 5 people to clean a 2000 sq ft home. When I balked about the $1000 bill and refused to pay it all she sued me. read more
