Today I noticed a new lady (Cici) and had to stop and thank her for doing her job. She was actually driving around and telling people they couldn't park in the yellow 'no parking' zones. We watched 18-wheelers try to make that tight curve but if cars are parked there, they can't get through. It's just disrespectful. But Cici got out of her vehicle and asked them to PARK and walk to the store. Just seeing her presence here makes a HUGE difference! There are some homeless people who roam around the cars, trying the doors. I park way out and today I felt safe to walk to my car because she was out and about letting everyone SEE her! Great job. This was the 30th annual meeting over the past 31 years last year's event was canceled due to the pandemic. There were a number of keynote speakers who are experts in their fields and they accomplished the exact agenda so everyone seemed pleased. My attendance was strictly informational and although much of the topics weren't applicable I did do some networking and learned a few things that were of interest to me. This facility is built for these types of events, the staff here worked hard to ensure everything functioned correctly and the hospitality exhibited here was top notch - the rooms were spacious and very well maintained, the refreshments were plentiful, there were dozens of donuts and bagels on hand and lots of hot coffee. The parking areas are all within close proximity to the centers entrances and there is a large reception area outside the meeting rooms. After spending a few hours here it's no wonder this venue was chosen to host such an event it accommodate this event well...
