I booked the service two weeks in advance. They charged me a week earlier than they stated they would. When I called them, they said "oh that wouldn't happen! Let me check." They checked realized they charged me said that they would refund my money immediately. It took three days to get my funds back. The day that they were supposed to arrive, 45 minutes before they arrive, I get a call and they tell me that the crew that was supposed to be here at 9 AM has Covid which I understand not wanting to send people with Covid to a Customer's house which I can truly appreciate however I am moving the following day and they could not Give me a close enough time to accommodate for the situation. They told me they could be here at one, but I had to go to work at that point and I have animals in the house. I do not feel comfortable with leaving people in my home when I'm not here, especially after reading the yelp reviews. I'm highly disappointed, irritated that they took my money and could not accommodate for the move out. I do not recommend find someone more reliable. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I have trash piled up by my door when the trash chute is across the hall. I have dishes in the sink because the cleaner refused to load the dishwasher citing that she would be over her time and that I would need to pay. I have a 600 sq. ft studio apartment. I clean my place regularly. Outside of wiping down surfaces, sweeping, and loading the dishwasher, my place is a 90 minute clean - if that. My microwave wasn't wiped out. The outside of my appliances weren't wiped. Like she literally did nothing for over 2.5 hours. The cleaner was about 40 minutes late. When I asked about all the trash she piled up and the dust on the floor she got snappy and stated she was new. She then abruptly stormed out, ripped her jacket out of my closet leaving hangers and clothes on the floor, and yelled that she needed before and after photos. My floors weren't touched outside of the kitchen. There was no point in hiring them. I could have cleaned my place myself which is what I'm going to have to do. I also should mention she took a dump in my bathroom. So happy 2024 to me Update : to Michael and his poor response built on lies At no point was I contacted to be told the cleaner arrived. The cleaner stated she had errands to run and that's why she was late. My apartment is literally organized at all times. My house is clean. All your cleaner needed to do was wipe down surfaces, mop floors, wipes the stainless steel appliances, and wipe out the microwave...none of which she did. There are footprints in my shower from where she stood inside with her shoes on. Your cleaner was more obsessed with looking a the lake from my balcony than cleaning this space. I live between LA and NY and I am only here half time. the only furniture in my place is a small desk, bed, and couch. Outside of loading the dishwasher not being a part of the service - my house has never and will never be a deep clean. Your cleaner was too busy unrolling towels I already folded, taking a thirty minute dump in my bathroom ,and saying she was over her time. My friend and coworker who were on zoom heard her when I asked about how long she had left on the service as there was still dust everywhere, only one rug had been vacuumed and the floors had been mopped. You can stick up for your employee - but this is all a flat out lie. She literally did nothing. I did not ask her to leave. The trash chute is directly across from my apartment. She got upset and stated she was leaving. I was not rude..I asked her if she was going to do the other services that are indeed included under the regular cleaning. Again - happy to provide photos and a floorplan of my very small apartment. My apartment had just been cleaned by a different service the week prior. My house was not in deep cleaning condition and you're not going to get on the internet and lie because your cleaner yelled at me, stated she was new, that she did not care, and that she wasn't going to do the things that were included in the package. Your other cleaner was in and out of here at my last cleaning from you in November and there was much more to do. This is a joke. I have filed with my bank. I spoke with a woman today who was unapologetic and nonchalant and you will never have to worry about me being a customer. This is nuts. I needed a move in deep cleaning of my new home. I called several businesses but responses were hit and miss. The quote for my house was fair due to the type of work. There was extra cleaning needed and I was happy to pay the additional amount. A move in deep cleaning takes time to be done right. SixStar is a wonderful reputable cleaner. I had the most horrific experience with Six Star Maids. I booked a deep cleaning which included washing of windows, kitchen appliances and inside the cabinets. I was told by Six Star Maids representative Petria that cleaning crew would arrive at 12:00 on 8/15 and cleaning would take 5-6 hours. The cleaning crew did not arrive so at 1:30 I called to inquire what happened. I was told they had car problems and would arrive by 3. Cleaning crew finally showed up by 5 and stayed less than two hours - clearly not enough time to deliver the type of deep cleaning I paid for. I am beyond disappointed with both communication and quality of service. read more

I was in desperate need of same day cleaning service for my home. I was immediately able to speak to a live person. I was given same-day service. (Not always possible)The customer service was exceptional. I called three times before their arrival and each time was able to speak to a real person immediately. They arrived on time. They were respectful of my home. They did everything that I asked them to do and completed everything they said they would do in the order that I asked them to do it. As I was home while I was there I noticed that they were doing many things that were extra such as cleaning the tops of fans and fronts of doors. When you are not home during a home cleaning you don't know all of the extra things that they do. They brought special products because I have four dogs and two cats. They stayed much later than I expected them to and worked twice as hard as I expected them to and the quote stayed the same. For anyone getting a cleaning service for the first time - a professional, bonded cleaning company is not going to be as cheap as a friend coming over to help. This is because they have a overheads such as insurance, taxes, website management etc to pay and they bring all of their own equipment and supplies. They were a few things such as my oven that I didn't think they would be able to make any difference to and yet they did. Every request from me was responded with by a smile and "of course we can do that." I felt immediately comfortable with them in my house and I intend to have them come regularly. read more

Awful awful awful. Do NOT hire them. I needed cleaning for a closing and contacted them well in advance. They sent confirmation notification several times, and then, on the day before the closing, tried to reschedule for another day, which was not possible. Set a later time for the scheduled day, but went AWOL. Gave the runaround all day, did not show up, and fed the lamest excuses: I tried to call you but my phone overheated(!), one worker got injured.
