    If I could give a ZERO I would... My only problem wasn't the security deposit being more than your actual car rental. In my case I used a debit card for the rental and had to have extra money sent to me then put in my account, just to have enough to rent the car and I have not seen the return on my DEBIT CARD. And the charge of $249 is INVALID!! All the fees that I am being charged are INVALID and I am very disappointed and feel disrespected for taking good care of the rental and made sure I verbally asked to drop off the car at a different location WITH NO CHARGE before I did so. I live out of state so I can't just walk over there and resolve anything. The grand total came to $322.86!! The actual rental wasn't even $100.... My concerns are I have NOT received my security deposit back as well as being wrongfully charged a bunch of random fees and there's nothing I can do because I'm not in state ?? What kind of customer service is that. Please take the time to retrain the employees at that location. Take some time to look at the reviews on yelp of that location, they are ALL the same complaints. I will add photos below. I initially tried using my credit card but didn't have enough bc it was an absurd amount so I had to use my debit card in which it took the amount and I have yet to see it return. Over all don't come here this place is a joke, they should call it Sixt Scammers bc all they do is tell you one thing then charge you for "fees & charges" or "refueling" even if you fill the tank up!! Save your money and rent a Uhaul pickup truck! Much easier process and you get your money's worth.

    After a long flight from Toronto we were warmly greeted by Marcia D at Miami airport. We'd reserved a premium car and were offered a brand new Volvo S60. A sweet ride. But then Marcia D upgraded us to a convertible Mustang!! What a surprise. Totally awesome!! My boy loved it!!! And cruising into Key West couldn't have been better. We had the car 5 days. They even didn't mind that I picked up in Miami and dropped off in Orlando. Top down. Looking like a couple of big ballers. Pick up and drop off was smooth and easy. Seamless. Thank you for making our Florida road trip even better.

    I have had the best, fast, prompt experience with rental today at Sixt! Melissa has provided the best conditions, upgrade and whole service ever!! Very thankful to her for her job. Got a better deal for a good price! Highly recommended! Sick and tired with overrated Turo and similar!

    Code PTAR... Wasn't clean for a luxury model.  Inside wind shield, wheels and car looked like it hadn't been washed in a while.

    I'll give it 2 stars... +1 for finally getting it right and +1 for getting me the car I reserved. -3 for the hassle about their terms & conditions and attitude from the staff. I prepaid for the luxury convertible (code PTAR) and did my research on t&c and other people's experience. I created a Sixt account to manage my reservation and I thought select the exact car I wanted from the inventory up to 1 hour before pickup. I brought the credit card I used for payment and made sure they would be able to do the ridiculous $600 authorization. Well, kudos to them that the exact car I expected was there... Then why advertise being able to select the car in advance? Only thing I could do was add extra options and coverage, not what was suggested. The app was actually helpful for finding nearby gas stations and having a countdown to pickup/drop off. Other than that not too useful for me, especially since they didn't once answer the phone listed, virtually impossible to reach people at the Lake Buena Vista office. Similar to some of there other reviews I had some credit card challenges also. The girl at the desk tells me I need to have 2 major credit cards in my name to rent a luxury vehicle. I told her that wasn't noted anywhere and that the reminder emails and app only said the credit card used for payment had to be present. She insisted I missed it and pulled out some piece of paper with their t&c and told me it's right here and that people miss it all the time. I let her know how disappointed I was and asked her to show me where in my email or the app that was listed. Well, she couldn't find it and basically stuck with people always messing that up. When I asked for a manager she kind of laughed telling me that she doesn't work weekends and I couldn't speak with her. She said I could do an economy,(at the same rate for a luxury!) or she would cancel my reservation for free, (she did point out if I called corporate they would charge me, gee thanks!) I continued to argue that if this is happening all the time maybe it's a problem, I was recommended to let corporate know. I stepped out to check plans and upon returning the person "helping" me had a chance to contact her manager. Apparently there isn't a second card required if I booked from out of state... What?! In the end I got the car I reserved at the price I was quoted, but what the hell is going on here? I'm not sure how I feel about this company, but it seems that if you put up with the BS you can get good rates on luxury cars.

    Worst experience ever. If you want to have a happy trip, you must avoid this dishonest company. I charged me additional $250 smoking fee, which I never smoke for my whole life. I called their customer service and asked them whether you guys have any proof that I smoked in the car on that day, the told me that branch manager said it smelled like smoked. What! It is the branch at 12205 S Apopka Vineland Rd, inside hotel lobby, Lake Buena Vista, Orlando, FL 32836. You will never want to meet that dishonest and rude manager in your whole life. I went to their branch to discuss this issue with her, and on that day I supposed to take my daughter to Disney world, she refused to talk with me and use serving other clusters as an excuse and shut me out of the door. I do not know how she can behave so strong to serve other customers which means another person might experience the same thing as I did. I also search SIXT smoking fee at goole and found that this company did the same thing to other customers too. I spent so much time to post here only hope other folks will never experience what I experienced. It is not just about money, how they doing business and treat customers just make you feel so frustrated and unfair.

    Dump with lousy cars--service was slow, rude, and car was dirty. Definitely will go with enterprise or another next time.

Was told this is initial so you don't take the toll, insurance, etc. The next day, I saw that hey, the box for toll is check accept and not denied but I did say I don't need since I have visitor toll pass and I was told to sign here to refuse them. Ask about it, I get a new invoice without it and the charge are getting erased. I dropped the car about 12 hours before my return time, somewhere around 10pm while my return time was 10am. Give the key to the hotel. One week later, I get etoll charge. Go back, was told to call the number on the transaction information on my credit card. Called the number, says to go online and fill a form. I fill the form, give screenshot of all the vtp till I paid and wait 2 week. Get answer saying the toll I'm due aren't in the vtp list and I'll get a partial refund. No more information on what or when. I reply with a GPS tracking proof of all my transit the 2 days I had the car where we clearly see all toll occured and I ask more information on what toll I supposedly did, when it occured with the date and time and remind them that I didn't had the car after 10pm. To this day, more then 2 weeks later , I'm still waiting. Done waiting, I've asked my credit card to reverse the charge. I'm not paying because someone used the car after I dropped it. That's stealing.

My drop of time was 7:45am, I called to asked for an extension of 9:45am, the cost was $110. In my opinion that is very unreasonable. I understand it is called Budget cars but I will never rent with them again.

There was a courtesy phone outside, called it the Hertz employee said someone would be there, they are "probably getting another customer a car". 30 minutes later, used the courtesy phone again assured someone should be there. 60 minutes later, spoke with the valet out front they called Hertz said someone should be there. 90 minutes later, I called Hertz, they are not sure what happened but someone should be there. 110 minutes later, someone from Hertz finally shows up and doesn't even blink an eye out how long we've been waiting, starts talking to us and then checking his cell phone and he could maybe get a car for us. No thanks. Won't use Hertz again based on this experience, went with another rental car company that responded immediately and picked up within 10 minutes.

The Grand Cypress should be embarrassed to have this participant in their hotel.

My husband ran over a pothole, which required him to have his car in for service. He got a rental car through his insurance, which is how we ended up with Hertz. My husband's insurance agent made the reservation at this location and called to confirm that the location would be open until 5 p.m. I left work early to bring him to pick up his rental car, and we arrived at 4:30 p.m. Imagine our surprise to find out that the Hertz employee was not there. Come to find out that it is a "one man show" at this location, where the employee will end up cleaning the cars and handling the rental. So there was no one to help us with getting a rental car. We called Hertz corporate who transferred my husband to the local manager. The local manager was completely apathetic to the fact that their employee left the location early, stating that the employee probably left early because they weren't expecting anyone. That doesn't make sense because the insurance company sent over the request AND confirmed the location was open until 5 p.m. There was no apology for the inconvenience either. Do yourself a favor and pick another location because it is clear this location leaves much to be desired.
