They have this big portal at exit and return. It's an AI scanner. Luckily it is not working. So no AI-induced trouble or fraudulent charges that we heard so much about at Hertz. Beware: do not click anything in the automated email SIXT sends just before your rental. We mistakenly clicked it. It offers to have us pre-check in and select the exact car. But we were not able to complete the process because we were boarding. Guess what? SIXT canceled our reservation! When we got to this branch, they said our reservation has been canceled. Luckily we had a competent and friendly associate who helped us get a walk-in rate that is alright. The downside is: much smaller car and it's manual (not the automatic that we originally booked). Different (lower) class of car. But well at least it is cheaper. At least we could get a car on the spot. Close call.

They exchanged the cars but i was disappointed that it happened after almost 24 hours of traveling. Their service is poor (which is not news for France in general), nobody took us to our car, we had to find it on a parking lot ( not difficult, since there was a allotted in a parking space, however, the GPS was obviously in french and we had a very hard time to make it work for us. - the GPS also had some problems during our trip. The upside is that the car was very economic.

The bike was in great condition and the pricing was very reasonable. We got a comfortable bike that could hold all of our belongings for day trips. We will definitely come back and rent again when we are in the area. It is quite a car ride to get here from downtown Lyon but it is totally worth it! Having the motorcycle was completely worth it in Europe! Gloves and helmets are required. We brought our own helmets and gloves but I believe they sell gloves and offer helmets for rent. They also supply you with a lock and safety vest if you desire. We used the lock but never stopped on the side of the highway to need the safety vests. I would recommend bringing your own phone mount for the bike. They offered one but it didn't fit our phones and wasn't very usable.

We were the only asian people in the whole plane and 1 of the cabin crew just comes straight over to us and goes up top and takes our bags out. He says that there is no more room for bags so we have to put our bags under our seats. I look around the cabin and we were the only 2 people that had to hold our bags. In this day in age this should not be allowed. Please report any staff you see in the future.
