Its been such a giant relief to have someone professional to go to with things versus making a million doctor appointments just to have a question answered that's causing great concern now. I've had issues arise here and there and she's not left me hanging, she's been sure to refer me to the appropriate help and doesn't get offended if they aren't working out the way you needed them to be. She was literally perfect throughout all of labor, and I had what I consider a rough labor at 30+ hours of back labor and hours of pushing. Hands off when she needed to be and hands-on when I needed her to be - Katie was the perfect balance. Both my hubby and I were very impressed. Throughout everything she's been consistent in giving me her balanced perspective and offering the freedom I need to make a decision. Also, one of the reasons we chose Katie is that she is unique as a midwife because of her experience and education. Remembering Katie was an RN in the NICU and has ample midwife certifications, often put us at ease knowing she has varied experience and a balance of perspective. Katie is well worth her weight in gold and much more (she should really charge way more for her services)! Just make sure you contact her early enough, she only takes on so many at a time! Also, when first meeting her, don't make the same mistake I almost made by taking her quietness for lack of confidence/competence. She was very supportive but let me take the lead when labor began. Once she arrived they set up quickly and she held my hand through contractions when everyone else was busy. She was a calm and motivating energy through the entire thing. Her postpartum follow up was amazing and she didn't leave until she was sure everything had been taken care of and we were all comfortable. She even filed the paperwork for my daughter's SS card and birth certificate. She was also able to help me with some minor breastfeeding issues the first few weeks. If I ever have another child I would choose her as my care provider without a second thought.

I informed them I would be transferring care at 32 weeks. I told the owner that I would pay for any prenatal appointments I went to, but she made a bill with fees I was not aware of. My invoice was the exact amount I prepaid which is very suspicious. The invoice even said my $500 deposit was a charge for some reason instead of applied to my balance like the contract states. The invoice seemed to be made in a rush and its purpose to zero out my account so they could keep my money. I will add my entire experience after court. In the meantime, if you choose this midwifery, ask them to outline their fees and what you owe after every appointment to avoid this. Overall disappointed with Charlie's (owner) handling of this issue.

Not only has she endured through some challenging times that would have crushed many other professionals, but she maintains her focus on her patients and provided above exceptional services. She has delivered all 3 of my children, she has maintained a professional relationship with us for approx. 7 years. We hadn't told anyone we conceived yet with our last child, and Sizzly called us saying she had already scheduled an appointment because she just had this feeling. You just can't find that at any office/clinic. I remember when she delivered our first child, she was telling us to just relax and be calm and she put on a comedian who had some jokes about midwives, and for some reason, it was exactly what I needed to remember that I don't need to stress, this is one of the happiest times of my life. Honestly, Sizzly was exactly what my wife and children needed, what my family needed! The fact of the matter is that Sizzly was one of the best things to ever happen to me and my family and I only hope the best for her. Her perseverance and dedication is unmatched. She knew from the start she planned on scamming me, so once I had a failed homebirth and emergency C-section.. she completely ghosted me for my postpartum care and kept my $3,000. She lied for months acting like she was working with my insurance to get paid so I could get my refund while the entire time it was a lie because she was never in network. Despite the messages, emails, voicemails, 2 way calls with her and my insurance... Sizzly finally got fed up with me not giving up and told my insurance I knew all along that she was never in network that I actually still owe HER money!! I would have never chose her as my midwife if I knew she was out of network. I have messages showing she confirmed she took my insurance. Changing your last name wont hide the truth Sizzly. You are a dishonest dangerous person. You will get shut down sooner than you know. I was working with a reporter about Sizzly and she told me that Sizzly wasn't insured and got away with it by filing an exemption that she doesn't practice in the state of Florida. That's why the infant she permanently paralyzed will never receive their 12million dollars they won. Like i said before STAY AWAY.
