Every single person I encountered--and I truly mean everyone--was professional, compassionate, and had an incredible bedside manner. They made what could have been a very scary and overwhelming experience feel calm, supported, and much less anxiety-inducing. I genuinely believe my smooth recovery so far is a direct reflection of how well I was cared for during my stay. This wasn't my first experience here either--I had a same-day procedure about five years ago, and I remember receiving that same high level of care back then as well. The hospital itself is very clean, and I really appreciated having a private room. Another huge plus was that my husband was able to stay with me the entire time. He had a sofa bed, and they even provided pillows, linens, and a blanket for him, which made a big difference for both of us. You pass through security just through the main door, go get checked in and your hospital pass (Id required). Elevator requires codes, there is a guard on the floor to check to make sure you have your pass & are where you are supposed to be. Inside Crystin's suite, Lilly had her bassinet, Crystin had an entourage of staff in checking on her and baby Lilly. Quality of care is the best. I saw at least a dozen staffers in the two hours I visited. They have a professional photographer on staff for newborn photos- I was there for the photo shoot. I also found the gift shop extremely reasonably priced! I snagged a gorgeous, large bouquet in a vase for $40. Score! Plus the cafeteria- Connor crashed about the patient food and cafeteria food. And a coffee bar- that I indulged in. Grandma duty requires caffeine.

Bri was with us when I went into labor at home and because of a Florida law after waters breaking if you have a home birth and 12 hours have passed you have to relocate to the hospital to give birth. Bri was so kind enough to come with us to the hospital and stayed for the whole process including my unexpected and unplanned c-section. Not only was she knowledgeable with any questions we had in the hospital but she also gave us a sense of calm and care that we so needed during that stressful time. Bri even suited up and supported us in the operating room during the surgery. Bri even stopped by our house before we got home to drop off the placenta. Bri came to our home for a follow-up visit a few weeks after our Jack was born to answer any questions or concerns we had and to see how we were all doing. We are so lucky to have had Bri on her side and appreciate her so very much! Marie came to our home for the childbirth education course. She pulled up her slides on her computer and we connected it to our television. It was incredibly helpful to learn both home and hospital birth situations as I mentioned above we had to relocate to the hospital and make some very tough decisions. This was a two-part course so Marie came to our home on two separate occasions. Marie was also there to answer any questions we had about the birth and when baby arrived and how to care for him. The way Partners works when you are pregnant is that you see a different doctor every time you go in so that when you deliver, you are familiar with most of the doctors and the doctor on call will deliver you. I dealt with many nurses and techs and everyone was fabulous. I didn't have a "normal" pregnancy. At 16 weeks, I had an issue that landed me in the hospital. Dr. Minton was on call that day and he really eased my concerns and talked me through how to get past my issue. At 29 weeks, I went into pre-term labor. Dr. Brown was on call that day and she admitted me to the hospital. She was extremely caring to my situation and was explanatory about how the process would go. Dr. Jaeger ended up delivering my baby. He was excellent. He was able to lighten my mood by joking with me and he made some very important decisions that gave my little preemie the best outcome possible. What an incredible first time experience I had at Women's Choice in Lakeland, FL!!! I am currently…read more16 weeks pregnant and was unsure as to where I should go in regards to help with baby preparation (i.e. parenting classes, breast feeding suggestions, necessary baby items, car seat safely, sleeping safety, parental encouragement, etc.) While using google to find resources, Women's Choice popped up, so I gave them a call. The very first phone conversation with a young lady named Angel, was absolutely delightful and very informative. She was polite and explained the program in detail- I never felt rushed or uncomfortable with the questions I needed answered. She took her time with me and was very patient. Angel scheduled me for an appointment the same week I called and kept in contact with me prior to my appointment. Once I arrived at the facility, it was homey, clean, organized and inviting. I was assigned to Mrs. Amy for the intake process and what a blessing she was to me that day. It was as if I was talking to my mom, my counselor and a teacher all at the same time. She went above and beyond to educate me about the programs offered and to actually listen to my story to see how Women's Choice could best assist me in this pregnancy and after birth. She actually brought me to tears with her sincere compassion and empathy. She made my experience one that I will NEVER forget. During the same day, after my intake process, they were actually able to get me in for my first ultrasound!!! I was excited and nervous, but the ladies at Women's Choice surrounded me with love and affection. Angel (I think the name says it all) was a breath of fresh air as she completed my ultrasound. My family member was 18 weeks along and had just done a gender reveal party the weekend before, so she knew she was having a baby boy. We arrived on time for our 1pm appointment and another couple was just finishing. The establishment is pristine and beautiful! I was shocked at how absolutely comfortable, clean, accommodating, and lovely the entire inside is. The lobby area caters to mothers-to-be and their family. You can tell the owner really cares about her clients and their well being. She has thought of everything. She greeted us and welcomed us to her boutique. She helped the mom find the restroom since she drank a lot of water to make the ultrasound better. There was a nice bowl of candy, to include ginger candies for any moms experiencing nausea. The beautifully decorated front area has an assortment of baby items for sale and they are all thoughtfully displayed and chosen with mother and baby in mind. There are snacks and waters available as well and she advertises other local businesses that help new mommies along their journey (lactation consultants, etc). I love that she supports other small businesses. I need to mention that it smelled AMAZING in there too! I asked her what it was so I could get some for my home I loved it so much! Even the father of the baby commented on how good it smelled! We were brought into a very nice and large viewing room for the ultrasound. A nice comfortable table is set up for mom by the machine. There is a seat next to the bed for someone special and they can view the large flat screen monitor on the wall or the machines screen. Across from the bed is a large comfortable sectional couch that can fit many people (I would say at least 6!) plus she has some cute plushie seats if there are others there. There were only the 4 of us so we stood most of the time and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the ultrasound. I could tell that the owner, Stormy, knew what she was doing. She made sure mom was comfortable, that her clothes were protected and she gave her a warm towel. She put the warm gel on her belly and ensured she was okay before beginning. We watched as she began the scan on one of the large TV screens on the wall. It was amazing what you could see. She narrated what she was looking at so we knew what was going on. We were very talkative and she picked up on what we were saying and would show us things as we asked about them. We heard the heartbeat and even recorded it on a small device to put into a stuffed animal! She got tons of awesome photos, 2-D, 3-D and 4-D. She even asked us if there was anything else we wanted photos of before we finished. At one point, the baby had flipped over and she wanted him back on the other side. She guided mom on how to possibly get him to flip using prenatal yoga and it worked! We had such an amazing experience and I would highly recommend this business for any services they offer. You can tell the owner truly cares about her customers. We will be coming back when anyone else in the family is pregnant!

Since moving to Tampa, I've tried at least 3-4 highly rated places and specifically sought out prenatal massages around town. While some have been good, Sarah is truly another level. Somehow, every massage with her gets better. She is incredibly kind and personable, but beyond that, she is exceptionally trained and talented. She finds knots and areas of tension I had completely forgotten were there. She listens closely to your feedback, gets to know your body over time, and adjusts her technique accordingly. She genuinely misses nothing. I had my 39-week prenatal massage with her last week and literally came back TODAY, on my due date, because I didn't want to go anywhere else! I personally prefer a stronger, deeper-tissue massage, and Sarah delivers that exceptionally while staying completely within the appropriate safety boundaries of pregnancy. But if you prefer something gentler, she is equally attentive and will adjust to exactly what you need. And if you don't mind essential oils and fragrance, the lotions and oils she uses are incredible. I work in a highly specialized field of medicine, so I'm always especially impressed when I encounter someone who is so knowledgeable, well-trained, talented, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Sarah clearly cares about both her work and her clients, and it shows. I'll absolutely be coming back for postpartum massages -- and I'm already planning to bring my mom and husband as well!
