This event is there twice a year . There will be another one in the winter months . Free admission and near by a parking garage for free parking . Inside are numerous vendors , artists with their booths. Everything is so cute and you can find your favorites comic characters or miniature food plates , tote bags , tiny key chains that light up when press with a choice of your characters . Quite a few good vendors with tables to show you how to make a craft toy . It is very fun and takes at least two hours to walk around once . Highly recommended !

Free admissions and free parking. You can park behind Hyatt hotel at the convention garage or find parking on Tasman. Need ideas for beautiful gifts, especially around the holidays? This is it. Popular event, so do expect long lines and crowds each year. SJ Made was giving out free bags to people who arrived early in line today. Artists and business owners always do a great job at SJ Made Holiday Fair. Security employees check your bags before entering. You can find holiday gifts, perfumes, goodies, chocolates, beef jerky, art supplies/art classes, jewelry, handbags, anime arts, posters, stickers, succulents, kitchen decorations, etc. Some affordable and mostly expensive, but the varieties of selections are well made and very good. Cute gifts. Good vibes. Santa Clara Convention Center venue is safe and spacious for sure. Perfect location for huge events. Thousands of shoppers throughout the day. Easy access to public transportation as well. The 2-day event is worth lining up for, especially around the holidays. Note, there's automated food vending machines and beverage machines to the left side of the front entrance area/behind the escalators. I tried the Yo Kai Express machine and wow, the Dan Dan noodle bowl was definitely hot in temperature and soup base was delicious. AI made my happy casual food today. Looking good so far. I will be revisiting in the future. Too cute to miss out on beautiful cats and dogs items too. Love it.

From what I understand, they're open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends, and Wednesdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. There are lots of food trucks and plenty of seating throughout the market. It can get pretty crowded at times, especially on Sundays, but overall it's manageable. The restrooms have always been clean whenever we've visited, and there are ATMs available on site. You can find almost anything here clothes, household items, snacks, and more making it a fun place to spend a few hours with family. There's also a large produce section with a bakery right in the center, which gets very busy but is worth checking out. Overall, it's a lively spot with plenty to see and do, making it a great place to spend time with family if you don't mind the crowds. The value is decent if you plan to spend a few hours browsing, grabbing a bite, or making some purchases, though the high weekend parking fees do bring it down. One thing to note: we've occasionally encountered teens and sometimes older men approaching people asking for money, claiming they need it for food. Later, we've seen them gathered in small groups. Just something to be aware of stay alert and mindful of your surroundings.

When we asked workers can they direct us to like 2nd hand items, rummage or garage sale stuff, they couldn't direct us to resaleable items either. It makes you wonder how much are they charging their vendors. We are looking for second hand items, antiques and vintage clothing at low bargain prices. DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY!!! It's not a place were merchants can sell second hand items. Go to Capital Flea Market Saturday and Sunday instead, parking is free, and $2.50 a person.

It's been years since we visited and decided to come back. We got lucky with parking but it can be chaotic. The parking structure and spaces are small and you will inevitably get blocked trying to leave or get in from people waiting for spots. There is a good mix of new and old here and the booths and stands are in general very organized and orderly. I also love the shaded covered over most of the parking lot, it provides some protection from the elements. Some highlights form our last visit: -There used to be a vendor here that sold really nice wool socks that were soft and thick. We weren't able to find him anymore, it was a middle aged man with a mustache, if anyone knows the name please shoot me a message. -A really nice guy was selling pokemon card repacks with cusotm packaging and my kids loved them! He was super nice and was giving away free pokemon stuff to kids. -2 booths had very clean vinyl records and cassette tapes. My brother enjoyed digging through these.

I attend maybe two or three times a year, whenever I'm looking for special, vintage treasures, or the occasional seasonal plants or succulents for my garden. You really can't beat the variety and prices here. This visit I found two gallon-sized plants for $5 each, a purple kale plant for $3, and 11 mini succulents for $1-2 each, plus a pretty glass bowl to hold an orchid plant. I spent nearly 2 hours here and only managed to walk through half of the flea market! It's fun to see people walking through the parking aisles sometimes pulling wagons or carts to hold their many purchases or cradling their new orchid plants. If you're hungry, there are food trucks near De Anza's Euphrat Museum. Come early for best selection. You'll definitely get your steps in here!

Individuals kept wondering if the flea market will ever be back... And it did come back! EVERY 2nd/SECOND SATURDAY OF EVERY MONTH, March to November, 9am to 2pm And now FREE PARKING! It used to be $2 to park! I gave it the rating I did because/ 1. Since the re-opening, I never purchased a single thing 2. Vendors are all pretty much the same (and it's hilarious some of the faces are familiar and seen at estate sale hunts) 3. Love how they attempt a theme and have added old school cars to the mix! 4. The vendors are not the nicest... they don't budge and are not willing to negotiate (I mean that's the fun of flea markets!) 5. Kind of pricey. Pretty much all antique and used items. A couple of vendors sell new but very "made in China" items 6. Products are often repeated aka the same 7. It's not huge... you could probably walk the entire thing in less than 30 minutes Would I come back? I just love estate sales, rummage sales, flea markets, etc. It's great to walk around especially when you don't have the mindset of "must have to buy"

L O C A T I O N There are two locations for paid parking which was stated on the website. Paid garage located at 1278 S 10th Street Paid parking lot located at 350 E. Humboldt Street We opted for the closer parking. Luckily you can pay on mobile if you have reception. I luckily did out of the 4 of us that were there. Otherwise, you'd have to wait in line to pay at the kiosk. So budget some time to pay for waiting for the kiosk in case you don't have cell phone reception. Parking was $15 + fee. E V E N T It's a large park and if you show up as one of the first 100 people, you get a free tote bag with this year's design for the event. Unluckily even though we showed maybe half an hour after the opening, it was all gone. So make sure you go early if you want the freebie. The event itself is free and it's outdoors so you can bring your furry friend but they need to be leashed. There are large water filling stations and port o potties. Feel free to bring your water canteens. It said you couldn't bring outside drinks or food but we were able to bring in our own filled bottles as well as some Starbucks drinks. But of course worse case is that you have to bring back your stuff to your car. It's not a far walk but it's still a walk from the parking structure. They do have a nice map of the booths as well as events throughout the day. They also have a bunch of food stands and trucks there if you want to make it a day. We opted to just go outside for food as the lines were long and the day was hot. Although not as big as the Winterfest, this event was a nice outdoor one with various craft goods. I always am in awe with all these makers. They're all so talented! O V E R A L L If you're wanting to do some walking and perusing of crafts, it's not a bad way to spend a couple hours of your day. I'm unsure if there's any free parking around, but you could try searching. We just didn't do much research on it.

We attended the Lumpia Fest in Newark this past Saturday, and there were plenty of vendors to explore and fill our bellies. Merchandise booths selling plants, stickers, totes, plushies and stuffed toys of various sizes, with no shortage of sanrio, pokemon, and kawaii character products. Food tents offering a diversity of snacks and beverages including Nepali street food, Thai and Vietnamese dishes, and of course filipino cuisine. We got pork bbq skewers, cheeseburger lumpia, papaya salad, and aguas frescas, from several different vendors. Everything overpriced, but delicious. The weather was breezy, but so hot due to zero shade at the event, so we fried in the sun as we enjoyed our meals in the eating area which had a few tables set up with seating. Even the DJ's sound equipment seemed to be melting in the heat, the music playing through the speakers (mainly pop and hip hop tunes) becoming slow and jumbled, almost like a horror movie. We didn't stay long, as there was nothing that really captured our attention, not much on the entertainment side, just a raffle. It's a decent event to get a few items for little ones who are fans of Japanese anime, Hello Kitty, or the cute monster Labubu, while snacking on some good eats at a premium cost. But the price for admission on top of that is a bit excessive for what you get. 3 stars for overall value and experience.
