He came down and said the A-coils needed to be cleaned and started trying to sale me a new unit. I told him the unit was only 7 years old and was still under parts warranty. He told me that the 3 ton units where selling out due to refringent change for new units. I told him well mine is a 4 ton unit and he said oh I don't look. He would not even give me a price from removing the A-coils and cleaning them. He sprayed some cleaner on them and it worked for the night and quit the next day. Next day I called someone else they removed and cleaned my A-coils and it been great ever since!

I made an appointment on a Friday through my warranty company and the service vendor they assigned couldn't come until the following Tuesday. August in Georgia is no joke. The vendor ended up not fixing anything on Tuesday, but added 2lbs of freon and left. No inspection, didn't check the furnace, didn't come in to check the vents, nothing. So on Wednesday, once the A/C went out again I followed up and made an another appointment, this time we were set for for Friday. The second tech the vendor sent tested the freon and saw that it was empty even though they had just added 2lbs 3 days ago. So the second tech did some test and started packing up. I asked what time he'd come back so that I could be home and he indicated the test takes 48-72 hours to determine where the leak is. I'm not a HVAC professional, but that sounded odd. Once the second tech left without attempting to fix anything, I started calling around and found R Tilery's website. I called to see if I could make an appointment and Ray himself picked up and said he could come later that afternoon. Wow, same day service, what a novel idea. You'd think if I told the vendor my warranty company used that other company's can make same day appointments it would make their heads explode. Ray showed up a few hours later, took the A/C unit apart quickly and inspected the inside and found oil in the bottom of the unit indicating a leak. He tested some gas in the line and we could hear the gas leaking from the unit. So it took Ray all of 15 minutes to do what two different techs could not do in two separate visits. Ray was great, I should have called him first. Don't be like me, call ray first. We will be calling him again if we are ever in need. Thanks Ray!

The last answer last fall was a $1000 repair and they left the unit disconnected. I decided to try another company this spring before it got hot and called Cool Change since they were local in Dacula. Dan from Cool Change found the root cause of the problem and put my system back together in about 2 hours. Dan knows his stuff and I highly, highly recommend this company.

My Solenoid valve got busted from constantly tapping it with a screwdriver handle (don't as just the mere mention of it is humiliating enough). Consequently I had to use my oven and the one available space heater to warm the house. So last year my baby sister Ashley sumbitted my name from sheer terror that I would blow myself up in the process and me being on a fixed income just could never afford to get it fixed. Of course because of Covid the wished were submitted but not granted. Now here is the part that really make you believe in miracles. My baby sister was rushed to the hospital on 12/13/21 only to be told that her kidneys failed and consequently her organs had a cascading effect and within 24 hours I was looking at my baby sister coding.- she died. On the day she died I believe.a year after submitting my Wishlist Mr. Rodney of ALPHA & OMEGA called her number and we answered. He said he wanted to grant Ashley's Christmas Wish list and we shouldn't worry about the cost. Mr. Rodney showed up as promised that Saturday 12/18/21 inspected the unit, called in to his supplier for the part (pricey too) and spend the rest of the day dismantling, removing, and replacing the part. I can assure you that was no easy task.He was polite, diligent, persistent, long suffering but most of all GRACEFUL. I want to shout it from the mountain tops God is Good, Thank you For Alpha & Omega. They made my Christmas very warm and comfortable. Having to deal with the loss of my Beloved Ashley was and still is hard enough without having to deal with a broken HVAC furnace. THANKS Again Sir Rod.
