I had contacted several companies before, and honestly, most made me feel like I was bothering them. But when I called JustDryBasement, Susan answered--and she was incredibly professional, kind, and helpful. That first impression already set them apart. She connected me with the owner, Elliot, who has been amazing from start to finish. We worked together on three separate projects, and in every one, his quality of work and professionalism truly stood out. First project: Elliot installed a French drain in my basement and noticed damage to the walls, so he recommended and installed a special polyester wall barrier. He walked me through the entire process with patience and clarity. I waited a full year before writing this review, just to make sure everything held up--and I can confidently say, even through heavy rains here in Medford, NJ, my basement has remained dry. His work speaks for itself: solid, clean, and reliable. Second project: I still had high humidity in the basement, so Elliot suggested and installed a whole-house dehumidifier (AprilAire E100). He connected it directly to the French drain system, so I no longer have to worry about emptying water or dealing with moisture. It runs efficiently and quietly--even when I'm traveling, I have peace of mind. Third issue: Recently, I had water flooding in the finished part of my basement. I thought it was the water heater, but Elliot offered to stop by just to help figure it out. And he did--within two days, exactly as he promised. He quickly diagnosed the issue: it was actually the AC pump, not the water heater. Thanks to his advice, I was able to get the original installer (under warranty) to fix the problem. Elliot didn't have to help with that, but he did anyway--because that's the kind of person he is. Beyond his technical skills, Elliot is honest, communicative, punctual, and just a genuinely good person. He always followed through on his word, showed up on time, and took the time to explain everything clearly. Even when I had concerns, he didn't brush them off--instead of just talking over the phone, he came in person to give me peace of mind. I also want to give a shoutout to his partner Phillip, who was also fantastic to work with, and again, to Susan, for being so welcoming and helpful from the start. After working with this company three times, I can honestly say: I highly recommend JustDryBasement to anyone looking for quality, professionalism, and peace of mind. Their prices are more than fair for the level of service they deliver. It's rare to find people in this field who truly care--and I'm so glad I found them. Thank you, Elliot and team!

I kept them updated after every step of my to-do list that they provided between cleaning out the basement, breaking down the laundry area, and upgrading my electrical to accommodate the battery backup and separate breakers and outlets. They spent 2 days at my house working (3/30/26 & 3/31/26). When they were done, they told me that they would need to come back in a week to tighten some bolts because they had to pour some concrete and needs longer to cure. I said OK and just call me when they were coming back. Work finished 3/31/26. 4/8 - I texted the salesperson asking when they would be coming back. I was told that she would reach out. Nothing further. 4/30 - I texted again asking when they would be coming out. I was told to let her message him. Nothing further. 5/11 - I texted again about their return. She said that she would reach out again. 5/25 - At this point I was annoyed and texted her to just forget it. Told them now that they are paid and got their initial positive review that they don't seem to care . That I was disappointed. Doesn't give me hope for their yearly inspections for 5 years to make sure everything is still running well. So, I am taking away a star from my initial review.

I am beyond upset and honestly sick over what just happened…read more About 15 months ago, 58 Foundations & Waterproofing came out, repaired our foundation, and waterproofed our basement. We were told the system and equipment they installed were "the best of the best." My family and I went out of town for just 2 nights. When we got home, I went down to the basement to grab items I needed for my business and walked into a nightmare. Both the sump pump and the battery backup completely failed. The sump pump battery backup was a 58 Foundations & Waterproofing product. There was about 6 inches of water in our basement. Our inventory was stored down there. Our Christmas trees were down there. Everything is soaked. Thousands of dollars' worth of inventory is now completely ruined. What makes this even worse, we called their emergency number THREE separate times. Each time, we were told our information was taken and that someone would call us back. Not a single person has reached out. No call. No help. Nothing. We still have water sitting in our basement. The sump pump is not working. The backup system is not working. And the company we trusted to prevent exactly this situation has been completely unresponsive. We spent over $56,000 to have our basement waterproofed so something like this would never happen. And here we are. I am beyond frustrated, exhausted, and honestly just sick to my stomach over this entire situation. Do yourself a favor and think very carefully before trusting this company with your home.

The "58"Foundation Specialist, Jeff, came in and studied the situation. He came up with a plan to reinforce the area, and carefully explained it to me. It sounded good, and the estimated cost was more than reasonable . Crossing my fingers, we set the day and approximate time the men would be there . The "58" Team were on time and worked very hard all day long. I wasn't surprised they managed to accomplish the plan. This company makes you feel secure by their knowledge and professionalism. The result is that the basement is secure again and I'm relieved. Thank you to everyone at "58" Foundations & Water proofing" for providing great service and a team of men who knew exactly what they were doing, and doing it so well. Thank you to Jeff, for taking my calls and answering all my questions as the work proceeded. M. Drewes

Mark, you're delusional. Please be very specific when you accuse me of lying. I said not a single…read morething that was not 100% truth. I have no reason to lie, it's not my business, just my experience with yours. The small patches of dead grass in my back yard are where your brother pissed, and I only found out because a neighbor brought it to my attention offering to show me video. The larger portion of dead grass in the front is what died the week after you left, magically, where dry concrete mix had been spilled and rain began to harden it. My pictures tell the entire story. The befores are the befores and the completed pictures are exactly that, the pictures after your miracle overlay. No misrepresentation. The doozy of a last step was not a picture of the drop off, it was a picture of how grossly out of square the step was/remains. It is a horrible representation of concrete work. You did say steps were not your forte, those were your exact words. I understand you have to continually respond and try to explain the issues away so future potential customers that see my review can be talked out of any concern. But that doesn't change the bs you left on the front of my house. Call the twp. and have them come out and inspect your work and tell me it is out of code. That sounds like a great idea, I'm sure your last minute insurance company would like to hear you are willingly doing out of code work. You did not call me, and if you did you forgot to leave a message, and if you emailed me you forgot to hit send. The day you left I told you I was unhappy, I text when the grass died as well and you blew it off. The large patch that died and remains dead in the front yard is separate from the urination spots in the back. You were clear that you were unwilling to redo the job when we were speaking about remedies. So I was left to choose between leaving them looking as terrible as they did after your brother finished for our 4th of July party, or having you put this coating that would be "smooth and hide all the seams", which has since become discolored and has begun cracking in hundreds of different spots. Not much of a choice. Replacing them only became an option once this review was brought to your attention. I won't continue to go back and forth so you can try to explain these issues away. I'm glad people asked for business cards during your work, do you want to know how many of my neighbors and family members asked me for your card after seeing the final product? None... When I entertain I don't put much weight in the cards I hand out while I am setting up. I count the ones that I hand out at the end of the night, after my product has been delivered. If you are trying to say that the job you walked away from was something you stand by and were satisfied with after you told me you were not, I can't give credit to anything you say. It takes a lot for me to give someone a bad review...
