I've been here several times just haven't written a review. It's well stocked to the point items are still in boxes on the floor. If you need something it's possibly in the box. I used to purchase JBCO but since I'm wearing braids I've been purchasing from them. It's only been a year and every time I need a retouch they have the braids I'm accustomed to using. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. If they're out of something , they make suggestions on an alternative. They have 3 stores within a 8 mile radius. This was my first time visiting SK Beauty Supply, and unfortunately it will be my last. While comparing hair extensions, a male employee physically took a pack of hair out of my hands and told me he would put it behind the counter, even after I explained I was still deciding and comparing colors. He later returned and rudely told me not to touch the hair at all, despite there being no visible signage in that aisle stating customers could not touch packaged hair. I was not removing hair from packaging, only comparing sealed packs by color, which is a normal part of shopping for extensions. The employee's tone was dismissive, aggressive, and completely inappropriate. When I brought the issue to the manager, instead of addressing the employee's behavior, she defended it and showed me signage from a different section of the store, which was not applicable to where I was shopping. There was no acknowledgment of how disrespectfully I was treated as a customer. Clear signage and respectful communication are basic expectations. Even if store policies exist, customers should never be handled or spoken to in this manner. I would not recommend this store based on this experience. Large beauty store with a decent assortment of things, but the customer service is terrible. I'd buy a generic, overpriced shampoo from CVS before going here again...and then to make matters worse I'm pretty sure I was sold imitation bask & lather. My first time trying this place. Was so excited because it's a huge beauty supply store in Snellville with lots of wig and hair selections. Unfortunately, they do not allow you to try on wigs. It makes no sense ! How do you purchase a wig and are unsure how it looks and there are no refunds. Since when does virus spread through wigs that are tried on with wig caps?? Absolutely terrible customer treatment. The younger employee's response was that "no one has had any problems with what they purchase so far". I also noticed that their products are geared towards African Americans but they only cater to their Caucasian customers more which is just disgusting. The good news about this terrible experience is that I found a wig from Amazon which I should have went in the first place. My new wig they had in the store and less expensive will be delivered tomorrow! Finally a company that lets you try on during pandemic and return if it doesn't fit. I will never come into this place again. read more

Second time at this Beauty supply store. Very nice in comparison to the rest of them. Have spent about $75 between both visits within 2 weeks. Don't expect to have access to a restroom, despite spending your money there. Fist person I ask that was walking the floor said. "We don't have a restroom". I asked again to ensure I heard correct, and she repeated it. I get to the register and asked if I could use their restroom, the lady repeated the EXACT same words. I asked if there is EVER a restroom, she said, " I just told you there is no restroom". I told her it was quite unfortunate that we spend our money here and there is no restroom". She apologizes and states, "Too many people use it and we have a plumbing problem.". This doesn't feel like it was the absolute truth. I really liked this store, however, I'm just not sure I will go back..... great service but it is not really serving the customer! I can get my products from one of the larger local chains as I had been doing in the past. Very disappointing, especially when trying to honor a small business. read more

Holy Smokes, someone turned the local Walgreens into a Beauty Supply Store, and it's BEAUTIFUL. Although, I'm probably not the main clientele for many beauty supply stores in Georgia because most "beauty supply" means they sell more wigs than anything else, but THIS one is amazing. Their wig selection is HUGE, but I am a sucker for hair oils, serums, and masks. And this store has TONS of it. There are rows and rows of it. They also have a lot of makeup and nail supplies too. Because this store is brand spanking new, it is VERY clean and well lit. I love it. This used to be a Walgreens, so verys spacious and lots of parking spaces. This store is located right next to walmart, so it's very busy. There are three ways to get here, if you are travelling on 124 towards Lawrenceville, as any 3 driveways to SK / Starbucks will work. You can also enter on Pinehurst Side. Another thing to notice, that sometimes when I'm entering beauty supply stores, I get that "sense" of attitude from the owners - towards their customers (even me). But the lady that was working today so so friendly. She even gave me a free sports mask as a gift (I love when Korean stores give you sample and free gifts), so it was super nice of her! I signed up for rewards. I'll be back to scope through the hair oils & products! This is not a beauty supply store where you are required to have a cosmetology/hair license. Terrible customer service. Today was my first& last time shopping here, I'll tell everyone I know don't spend a dime of money with these folks. They watch you like a hawk, all black folks don't steal. They don't want you to smell the products but want you to buy. The products are overpriced & much of it is inferior. BEST BEAUTY SUPPLY STORE !! They converted an old Walgreens to the my favorite store. The inventory was immaculate with olaplex and chi products. The sales people were incredibly helpful and friendly. I loved being in there and definitely coming back! Sign up for the rewards program too cause it's 100% worth it. I may have to say there are many beauty supply stores in the area and this one takes the cake. Most if not all the hair supplies you need and customer service is awesome. Let's speak on the importance of customer service. I have been to another one in the area that has many hair products but I felt like I was not welcomed. The customer service wasn't up to par especially for the amount of money I spent. Their customer service was very inviting. They had products that I've been looking for that I couldn't find anywhere except online I was very pleased with that as well. read more

Giving them a star because I can't do anything lower. I drive over 40 mins. bc of the reviews on this beauty supply store. First time coming here and I got some extensions which weren't even the ones I intended on buying because they didn't have the length i wanted. The lady kept pushing me to just stick with 18in it will look about the same styled right. She took the pack out to "color match" me in the dimmest part of the store and kept saying it was perfect and kept pushing for me to buy it. I asked what the return policy they said 7 days with receipt so I went ahead and got them in case I didn't find another choice. I got home tried them on. Not the right color whatsoever. I came to return them and some UNUSED DYE that i bought the same day and they tried to give me a reason to every item as to why they couldn't be returned. Those dyes stayed in the bag in my car bc it was a backup plan. I had to pull up pictures to prove otherwise for her to CONSIDER it. & With my extensions how do you expect someone to not try on extensions when getting them? You're never really certain when buying them like that. Even showed pictures of my entire week to prove they were never worn other than to try them on and NOTHING. Not even some credit or anything which i wouldn't even use because IM NEVER COMING BACK. take your business elsewhere, its not worth the hassle of dealing with a lying ass staff and fake return policy. read more
