I have been there only a couple times; the first time I didn't weigh the material I was dropping off , and when I Looked at the receipt it all seemed ok. The second time I weighed everything with my own scale before I stopped by. As soon as I got there, I told them what I had and they proceeded to put the materials on their scale. At that moment I got a little distracted and didn't pay much attention to the numbers the came up with. It wasn't until I saw my receipt when I noticed that they only put less than half of the material weight compared to what I got with my own scale. I talked to them about it, and they took care of it right away, supposedly they got a couple numbers mixed up. I know that we'll make mistakes at some point, but if we don't have an idea of much materials we're bringing in, how will we catch this mistakes ?.......

Tonight I witnessed a Sunrise Salvage flatbed truck merging on the freeway. There was an RV in the…read moreright lane, who was prevented from moving over by another car in the left lane. The Sunrise driver absolutely REFUSED to yield in order to merge, eventually forcing all 3 cars to be driving side-by-side down a 2-lane freeway. It was insane. THEN - the Sunrise Salvage flatbed, obviously pissed that the RV had the audacity to not slam on the brakes in order to let him have his way, zoomed over, passed the RV and cut back over in the most aggressive manner I've ever witnessed. The RV had to swerve in order to avoid being hit and and damn near drove off the freeway. So I called the company to report unsafe driving. I got "Steve." When I started to tell him my story he demanded to know what vehicle I was in. I told him I was in a white minivan. He then proceeded to tell me that he was IN the vehicle with the driver and started to list all the ways that the RV driver was "wrong." (Note, merging cars do not have right-of-way.) So I asked Steve, "So are you telling me that when your driver swerved over to cut off the RV that was safe driving?" He replied, "Well, that was a little bit of payback." I informed him I would be calling the police and he hung up on me. I prefer that local companies not play "payback" on I-5 with a large flatbed truck and a 40-foot RV. At 70 miles an hour. He is lucky no one was hurt or killed. I will NEVER do business with this company, and I suggest others in Whatcom County follow my lead.

He'll ignore you while you're clearly the only person there and talk to other coworkers. He changes the hours whenever he feels like it. I can't tell you how many times I've rushed to get there b4 3 ( posted hours are 5 I think. But ed says he stops taking customers @3 so they can clean up) it's never clean from what I see. Last time I got there b4 three but Ed said he stopped at 2 today. All his guys are home!?! doing it at two or no OK pleasure not doing business with you everybody I've encountered that works there which is very few people. They're all pricks. They all treat customers like shit they rip you off and be honest, I really don't care scrap I'm not trying to get a lot of money.
