This place is not a real bakery. Quality is not there. Everything taste like it came out of a box. I would not recommend going here

It's located in downtown Lewiston and one of the nicest buildings in town. From the moment we walked in the door, this place oozed charm. There was a gentleman playing the piano, dressed in old-timey garb. His greeted us with a wide and sincere smile. We walked through several rooms packed with people and decorations and sat in a side room with a bar and near a bright-as-the-sun stained glass window. The lunch and dinner menu was quite expansive, starting with salads and sandwiches and ending with steak and seafood options. I ordered a Caesar salad with smoked salmon and my son ordered the Cuban sandwich. While waiting for our meals to arrive, we toured the other rooms and marveled the eclectic decorations. In the main dining room, there was a large mountain lion preying over the patrons. Each room and wall had different but interesting decor, like they have someone picking out the neatest items and centralizing them here. The food came and unfortunately it wasn't quite up to the standard I now anticipated. The smoked salmon was tasty and plentiful on my salad, but it lacked dressing and enough lettuce to get a good balance. My son's Cuban didn't come on Cuban bread or a pressed bread, but a standard thick baguette, which we both found odd. He said it was too much bread and dwarfed the pork, ham and cheese; quite disappointing. However, the French fries were bountiful and good. Overall, this was a fun place to eat and they likely have some tasty options, but we chose poorly for our maiden visit. Will definitely try this place again if in the area.

My son's friend met us here and none of us had ever been to a Fazzari's...but it came highly recommended. The interior is large and they have a lot of long community tables. This place must seat over 100 people. This place has a traditional pizza parlor feel where you order at the counter and they call out your number to come up for your drinks and pizza. There were some quite interesting specialty pizzas on the menu, like the Shotsy (mustard sauce, onions, sauerkraut) and Friday (black olives, mushrooms, shrimp). We ended up ordering a half Hawaiian, half Bantam (Ham, Linguica, Mushroom). We also ordered drinks (which don't have free refills...is it 1984 again?). There's a window where you can watch the pizzas be made, and there's a half block so the kids can stand tall and watch. I noticed as the workers are making the pizzas that all the toppings go right to the edge, including the sauce. Yep, when it was time to pick up our pizza there's basically no crust, so I got sauce on my fingers just trying to hold up my pizza. The pizza crust itself was not good...it tasted like cardboard and I think it was just there to support the toppings. They do pile up the toppings, but toppings by themselves with poor structure doesn't make a good pizza IMO. The toppings weren't special either...was hoping the linguica had a little spice or taste but it was completely bland. The ham didn't crisp up either so it was just flat and soggy. Overall the pizza was disappointing, but I could see why this is a popular place for families.

Others in the party dismissed it as an issue and decided to order. Management needs to take note and train hosts to ask which environment is preferred. There are too many neurodivergent people who can't handle the chaos, yet want to enjoy a nice meal. End rant. Meals were good all around, though my breaded steak bites were very salty and the au jus only added to my sodium intake. Great portions and flavor. First I was served the house bread with garlic butter - which was the best thing I had. For my entree, I ordered the Braised beef Pappardelle which comes with a house salad. I can only say I'm glad I filled up on the bread, as I was served an entree with burnt onions and mushrooms. I had to pick at the meal to make sure I didn't get any burnt items. Super glad I ordered it, it's buttery, mild flavor reminded me of black cod. But their other menu items are nothing to ignore. We got right in and asked to be seated on the patio as the sun would be going down over the next hour. The patio is right up on the Snake River offering a great view for our dinner! Walking through the interior was also quite the visual feast...a handful of large rooms and a large bar with a bunch of motley decorations everywhere. The nicest looking room was a rotunda in the back but nobody was sitting in there...not sure if it's for private events only. The menu had a lot of choices...which in my years of dining usually means they offer quantity over quality. And that came to fruition as we received and ate our meals. I ordered the Hazel's Famous Fried Shrimp and my son got the Cod N Chips. These were the smallest shrimp I've ever seen in the restaurant...the broccoli dwarfed it! The breading was also awful as it was soggy and falling off the shrimp. If these are famous, I'd hate to see the shrimp that didn't get the part. My son said his cod was 'alright' but said the tartar sauce was the worst tartar sauce he's ever had. It looked like curdled 2% milk. The table we sat at on the patio was tiny and barely held the two dinner plates. The chairs were also cheap metal and my back and bottom were sore after an hour. At least our server was friendly...and when she asked 'how was your meal' when picking up our dishes, we said it wasn't great and she replied 'yeah...' and walked back inside. That was actually a pretty funny way to end the meal.
