Specialties
Skarin Orthodontics is an independently owned private orthodontic practice. We offer our state-of-the-art patented technology--invented by Dr. Skarin--and a concierge-level of patient care based on values rarely seen in practice this day and age.
Every aspect of your treatment, from the placing and removing of braces, to monthly adjustments, and the placement of custom-made retainers, is all completed personally by Dr. Skarin. This true, personal attention is one of the main reasons we've been able to serve the Naperville and Yorkville, IL communities so well for so many years. We provide excellence, and it's what our patients have come to expect.
History
Established in 1980.
Dr. Skarin started his practice remembering how miserable braces were for him as a child and he wanted to offer a more patient-centered "concierge-like" approach that created a more comfortable experience for the patient. After putting this approach into practice, he always believed there had to be a more gentle, better way of straightening teeth that offers an even better experience for patients.
We are excited to introduce our technology that accomplishes that better experience in both Naperville and Yorkville, and with your help, we believe we can elevate the standard of orthodontic care and make it a better experience for everyone.
Meet the Business Owner: David S.
Dr. David Skarin is founder of Skarin Orthodontics and inventor of ground-breaking orthodontic technology that advances patient care in ways never before seen in orthodontics. Graduate and former professor of Northwestern Dental School, Dr. Skarin demonstrates his dedication to improving orthodontics for patients and orthodontists, alike.
As a perpetual student and classic "wire-bender" that excels at a wide variety of orthodontic treatment techniques, Dr. Skarin is highly capable of treating even the most complex cases. He believes that each patient's case is unique and that an orthodontist is responsible for providing the best patient treatment for each individual patient. He values his patients' trust and, as a result, provides them with various treatment options when evaluating their needs, not applying a "cookie cutter" approach to all.
