I mean booked up for over a month; some places were booked for 2 and 3 months. I've lived in Frankfort for 22 years. And I've only had to get bodywork done one other time many years ago. I took it to Dunn's Body Shop in Frankfort. They did great work on my Honda Odyssey. I called them first. They sadly are out of business now. So I called every shop in Frankfort, Lexington, Georgetown, and Lawrenceburg. One of the shops I called was Mr. Freeman at Freeman's Autobody in Frankfort KY. And he was the one who could get me in the soonest. He gave me an appt for Oct 23rd, which was the soonest anyone had told me. That's really why I chose him. I took the car to him and he gave me a very fair estimate for the repair, and that is precisely how much it ended up costing. The best thing about the Freeman shop is the quality of the work. You cannot tell that there was ever any damage to my car. It looks just like new. I will be taking all my body work to him in the future. The owner is Nate Freeman. He's a good guy. had my 350 oldsmobile motor rebuilt by smiths. the bottom bearings went out in the first 5 minutes…read more took at back, they put new bearings in and charged me. they had it for about 7 months to start with. was told they put flat top pistons in like we had asked for. but it did not have them. i had another mechanic go over this engine because it kept tapping when started. it ate a lifter . i replaced it. ran for about 15 miles was tapping again. ate another lifter. had to pull the cam and it was trashed. told them and they didn't care. never got any money back. paid $4,600.00 for a paperwaight. they put different size springs and values in one head the other head was fine. think twice before you go here! so now i have to buy a new cam , new heads, new gaskets , and new lifters. you do the math.

So, here's my experience with these folks: These guys are THE best thing since sliced bread! I took my Jeep Wrangler to another shop in town to have a sensor that was giving me a brake warning light replaced. Next thing, they told me they'd have to replace the wheel assembly. Next thing, they told me they had broken off a bolt in the axle & I needed a new axle. Next thing, they told me it was not drivable. Then the price doubled because they had priced the axle wrong. Next thing, I got cranky & pissed them off. Suddenly, it was drivable and I should come pick it up. Oh, and by the way, it would be $100 for their trouble. I pissed them off some more & they told me to come get it & never darken their door again. I said no problem there! Just by dumb luck & some fairy godmother looking out for me, I picked these guys off of Yelp. Called, told them my story. They said you bet, bring 'er in! They looked it over, sent me photos of what they found, along with calls and descriptions and answers to my questions. Turns out, no broken bolt. No need for an axle. They communicated with me about every step. Sent pictures. Were pleasant, straightforward and gave alternatives when appropriate. They gave me rides to/from home and I didn't even have to ask! They offered! Amazing!!! They pulled the fat out of the fire for me and I am soooo incredibly, over the top, off the charts THRILLED to have blindly stumbled into a nest of bright, honest, honorable people who actually seem to give a damn about their customers & the reputation of their business! The Honda website sent me to this dealership, as one that might have what I wanted in stock. Isaac called me back the same day, answered my questions over the phone, and we made an appointment for the weekend to test drive the car. On the day of my appointment, Isaac phoned to tell me that the car in question had $2000 worth of dealer add-on upgrades installed, and he wanted to be honest and fair by telling me this before I drove from Louisville to see the car. I drove down to Frankfort and test drove 2 CR-Vs. There was absolutely no pressure to buy... Isaac was fair and honest through the whole process. I decided on a CR-V sport hybrid, and Isaac was able to tell me down to the week when it would arrive on the lot. I put down a deposit, and Isaac kept me updated by text about my car (when it was being built, and where it was in the shipping process). Three weeks later my new baby arrived! I love it so much, and I tell everyone who is in the market for a Honda to go and see Isaac. (In fact, he may need to send me a gift card for all of the referrals...LOL!) It was completely corroded and needed replacement, If a dealer is going to tout a vehicle as ready for repurchase you would think that while changing the oil a technician might mention the battery needed to be checked. I'm very disappointed. Even if they had told me at time of purchase I might need a new battery I could have got one right then. Instead my wife was stuck in a grocery parking lot with a car full of groceries before someone got her started, told her about the battery and she went to Walmart for a replacement, Get it together people!!!
