Ski Boy is always a 3-4 star experience. This time was a little underwhelming. The burgers looked excellent. They were good but not quite as good as they looked. The mushrooms were good but portion was small. The worst thing was the tater tots. They were severely undercooked. My dad had the steak sandwich and said it was good. We tried going the night before about 7:30 but they didn't answer. We asked them and apparently they close when things aren't busy. I understand why, but they need to have a message on an answering service. We called several times not knowing if they were closed or busy. We almost assumed they were closed for the whole week. Second visit: if you're going for a pineapple shake, call first. We drove all the way there for a pineapple shake and they had no pineapple. We got a chocolate shake which is almost as good. It is better than others around, but I wanted pineapple. read more

I have been here a few times and the food and service was good; however, the reason I'm give a low star is because when I was there I stood there at the window for about 5min to make an order, I saw the 2 guys inside working and was just waiting for them to come to the window, thinking they were busy, then a girl who was in the parking lot rolled down her window and said are you waiting to order and I said yes, she said they closed down early for some reason, I said thank you and got back into the vehicle...I'm not mad they were closed I'm mad that the 2 guys didn't take a minute to say sorry we are closed! read more

Ski Boy is a tiny little shack of a restaurant, but they put out some great food!! It's located about 10 minutes from Ft. Cobb Lake. There is no inside seating - you either walk-up or drive-through. We've been here several times & have always had great food. The Rex's Chicken is terrific! Their Ranch dressing is The Best! Steak sandwiches, Frito chili pies, pizza stix, fried pickles, & burgers are amazing, and the shakes are not to be missed!! If you are in the area, GO! It may not look open, but I'm pretty sure their hours are 9am to 10pm Monday through Saturday. Sunday *may* be the same. (Don't quote me on that.) read more

For being what looks like a hole in the ground. The food is really good. I had the burger and a Rex salad. I was impressed.

It's worth the drive just for the Rex chicken and (yum!) the fried green tomatoes.

I like this place because it's the only place I can find that has Rex's Chicken. Cooked fresh to order.

Everything here is great! The chicken fried steak is really amazing!! Fried mushrooms are a family favorite. The kids love Rex chicken and if your in the mood for a burger they will not disappoint! Everything is a bit pricey but its real food. It takes a little while but worth the wait. They also have ice cream and other treats for dessert. If your in the area it is definitely worth a stop! This hole-in-the-wall burger shack is a landmark for Caddo County. The burger (regular bacon cheese burger) was large and had ample toppings. I also tried the "Munchers" which tasted amazing. They are basically fried potato and jalapeño poppers. I just wish there were more than 5 Munchers in an order. With that said, it still leaves a little to desire. For taste I'd give Ski Boy a 4.5 stars but for price, building condition/ atmosphere and slow service I have to dock 1.5 stars. Worth checking out sometime but it's not going to be your go to family restaurant. read more

Apart from the building falling apart, filthy kitchen, and horribly rude staff, the food is mediocre at best. They have signs that read "no cussing out the staff." Well maybe if they would provide an ounce of customer service and not be so rude to customers, they would not need those signs. We tried to eat here this evening and the staff members were yelling at each other the whole time. I think the only cussing allowed is between themselves while arguing. So if you're looking to dog cuss someone or get served a decent meal I would avoid this place entirely! read more

This place has went down hill every time we order they say wait 20 to 25 minutes now it's 30 to 35 minutes. When you make and order they don't tell you if they don't have something till you get there and also it's longer than 35 minutes to wait for your food! Most awesome burger in the tri-county area. Drive past Sonic and come here for a great burger!!! And fried okra. Love the hometown cooking. My favorite is the Jalepeno Rex chicken dinner well done with the best ranch dressing or tomato delight you will ever have. The only problem is getting someone to answer the phone for a call in order. But on the other hand if you drive there the wait isn't too bad. Just wish I could call in so it could be ready.:) also there is a young man in there that is so polite and very good at taking orders and always says thank you and have a nice day.
