My husband had the steak and said it was one of the best steaks he's ever had, when we are in the area we will definitely stop again.

Free soft drinks! Food is good and prices are very reasonable! You can eat good homemade food for the price of McDonalds or a little more.

Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Restaurant is worth trying!! I recommend going at an off time because it was packed!! There's an option to do half a sandwich. The menu doesn't disclose that you can only do that on cold sandwiches. That's nice they do that but if you wait in line 25 mins with your menu item in mind but they won't do the halvsie thing it's frustrating. Especially since the sandwiches are mostly all over $14. So then you have to make a split second decision and order something else you sorta wanted but not really. I say that bc I originally wanted a hot sandwich but I can't eat a whole one. When they wouldn't let me do that with the half of a sandwich I decided to try to do that with the Bruce, which was the monthly special turns out I couldn't do that either. All in all it was a great experience and I liked my sandwich. My wife LOVED hers. We will definitely be back!! Wifey tip: order water to drink. They don't have soda on fountain so you pay $4 for bottled stuff you buy at On Cue. Not worth it.

Our server and bartender were incredibly attentive and gave us so many drink and food recommendations, all of which turned out to be so good. My friends and I ordered tapas family-style and got a bunch of small dishes to share, and we honestly loved every single one. The standouts for us were the patatas, the cauliflower, and the lamb meatballs. Everything was flavorful, well-balanced, and perfect for sharing.

Never had that happen.. was still not like that an hour in. The restaurant was not busy at all for me not to have a table. Okay. Th bar area was very tight, i was practically cuddling with the other guest there. I started off with a wine, and ordered the caccio e Pepe, and wagyu steak. If you are ever serving someone, in my 10+ years of hospitality. If anything is an upcharge you tell your customer. The bartender asked me what kind of sauce i liked for my steak, he recommends me both. Okay I'll try both. (Extra upcharge i didn't know about) Then asks if i want the mashed potato that comes on the side. (Another upcharge $2 i didn't know about) i said sure! My food comes out, I'm starving, steak is cooked beautiful, sauces, not so good they're bland. Won't use them. Pasta, eh, very flavorless for what it should be. No one really checks up on me, I'm kinda just on my own. I got the check. See all these charges and get annoyed, i pay because either way im going to get neglected.

Every other time we have visited has been less than stellar. The last time was terrible. The short ribs were awful (how is that even possible?!), our drinks stayed empty during our meal, and the wait staff barely visited our table. It really is a shame because I wanted this place to be great. We have hosted a couple of events here and those actually went well - but they were catered by a different food company within the hotel. So positive points for event services at Rally. I hope they can turn the restaurant itself around because I've heard others describing very similar experiences to ours.

The restaurant has a clean, beautiful design with tons of natural light provided by the abundance of floor to ceiling windows. My go to entree is the build your own omelette with breakfast potatoes and fresh orange juice. The omelette is cooked well and the potatoes have the perfect crisp every time. On a future visit I plan to try one of the more decadent menu items for breakfast to satisfy my sweet tooth. I look forward to eating here on all my stays.

It's not especially large in terms of seating available, but it does have a pretty fair selection of whiskeys and other spirits for cocktails and mixed drinks. The seating they do have is very lounge-y, with comfortable armchairs and couches surrounding a series of low tables, and some stool seating at the bar. The staff have always been friendly, and the decor is definitely rural/western themed. Some plusses: Because it's in the hotel lobby, there's a ton more seating in the lobby area itself, which is very comfortable. Not only that, there's several restaurants located within the hotel, including The Tap House and Bob's Steak and Chop House ($$$$). Both are fantastic. So if you're meeting up for dinner with friends, you can loosen up with a drink at the Basin Bar first. Or after. Or whatever! Also, down the hall is a coffee shop and a small gift shop. The only real minus: their prices. You expect to pay a little higher at a bar/lounge for drinks, but this one struck me as steeper than normal. A Tom Collins (which was on the weak side) and an IPA cost $30 before the tip. The next night I stopped in for a couple of standard sized cans of IPA, and was charged $20, again before the tip. PRO TIP FOR MANAGEMENT: Less is more. Charge less, you'll have more customers and they'll spend more.

Our service and meal were absolutely fantastic. I wish I could remember our server's name, but she took care of our group of about 12 in the back room and was on top of everything all night. She was so kind, patient, and willing to repeat things when needed, which is huge when you have that many people trying to get attention at once. She even thanked us for coming in, which was such a sweet touch. The food was amazing. She accidentally brought out an extra side of squash puppies and let us keep them, so I tried them even though I hadn't ordered them. Let me tell you, you HAVE to order them. They were absolutely divine, and the butter and jam they come with are incredible. I started with a salad, which was also very good, and then ordered the chicken bruschetta based on our server's recommendation. The Brussels sprouts were insane, so flavorful and easily one of my favorite parts of the meal. The bruschetta was delicious too, and I ended up eating almost all of it. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would recommend Pub W to anyone. The back room was the perfect spot for our large group and had such a fun, relaxed vibe. We'll definitely be back the next time work brings us to Norman!

I have not seen the "very verbose" server, who had interrupted us continually on my first visit. Guess he doesn't work there anymore. Since then, servers have been attentive, but not overly so, and congenial. The restaurant is always clean. This includes the ladies' restroom. We usually get the Pick 2. The chupacabra sandwich is delicious. I've also had the fried shrimp and the fisherman's platter at different times. Both excellent. Suffice it to say, deciding to give Pub W a second try was well worth the effort.
