She said "how old is your kid? 6? He'll be fine!" I told her to wait outside while I called the agency. No one answered so I left them a voicemail. Then I came back out and said "listen, this isn't going to work for me." She got angry and yelled at me, "this isn't how we do things here in Telluride!" The agency called me back after she left and were very apologetic, but couldn't find a last minute replacement sitter so my plans were ruined. Regarding the business owners reply: I simply forgot to publish the review. So I'm publishing it now after finding it in my Yelp Drafts folder. She did offer to connect me to another sitter another night, but I did not need a sitter another night.

If you have a baby you know traveling light isn't much of an option so thinking of traveling with snowboards, lots of toys & clothes I couldn't imagine trying to carry the pack n play for her to sleep in. Not to mention the rock n play which she naps in, the kick n play piano, the walker, & last but absolutely NOT least the jumper. So I began wondering what in the world I was going to do to keep her entertained all day long. I found telluride sitters not for the babysitting but for the rentals. We rented a crib, walker, jumper, play mat, & a baby bath. My LO's eyes lit up when we walked in and she saw the jump jump. The baby bath also was a lifesaver bc our room only had a shower. We were able to fill the baby bath up in the shower and it worked out perfectly. I placed my initial order about a week before our trip and Lindsay made everything very easy. Everything was right there waiting for us when we arrived! My MIL couldn't stop talking about how great it was to be able to rent all of these for my baby girl and for very reasonable prices. Lindsay told me beforehand the baby bath was cleaned with bleach & the crib mattress had clean sheets. I highly recommend using telluride sitters for baby rentals. I knew going in that I would write a review (good or bad) bc I myself wanted to hear how others experiences with them went. And I was not disappointed.
