However, after choosing an ornament an employee/volunteer (unsure) offered to take the ornament to the counter and wrap it. I walked around a few more minutes while my friend browsed and then I returned to the counter to pay. I paid in cash and left with my bag. When I returned home I opened the ornament and found the nose of the dog was completely shattered. It had not been broken when I handed it to the woman to take to the counter. I'd like to think they wouldn't have broken an ornament and then wrapped it, but perhaps when it was being wrapped the delicate piece crunched. Luckily it wasn't terribly expensive, but to pay any amount only to go home with a broken surprise doesn't feel good. Word of advice: carry your own items to the counter and inspect carefully when having it wrapped
