In the past year - since the new manager took over - The Shop has totally changed. Prices have gone way up, and the new manager is touting stuff like a whole "St. John's Knits" section which I really don't care about. I also notice that if I come in wearing my sweats & no makeup the manager doesn't say boo to me, but if I come in dressed to the nines then the manager is is super friendly, which I find shallow. She also has a weird policy on "Sales"; in the past, annual end-of-season sales were always promoted ahead of time. But the new manager insists on "flash sales" that aren't advertised, so you just have to stumble upon them by chance. All of this adds up to a poor shopping experience, so I rarely shop there now and I never donate anymore. Bring back the old manager, Robbie; she was wonderful, as are the employees who work there. In fact, the employees (outside of the current mgr) are the only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1.

In addition, I gifted my son a fine suit and Mario hit that one out of the park. Finally, I had a full suit purchased at the Livermore Outlets that Mario made look like a custom suit. I actually attended as part of a private company event and the staff were all super friendly and welcoming. There was a bit of a wait for the fitting rooms so I put my clothes on a rack while I shopped around. When it was my turn, to my surprise there was an extra pair of green pants that I didn't add and I pointed that out. They said that they added it for me to try on with my stuff! I was skeptical but I tried it and to my surprise the pants fit me like a glove and were super comfortable! I was super impressed they were able to pinpoint my size and it looked nice with the clothes I was trying on! I liked the pants so much I ended up buying them. They're the utility straight leg pants and I even bought another pair online in a different color (on sale) since I liked the fit so much. Their tops sizing seems pretty consistent. I was consistently around an XS. I did try on a jacket in XS but it felt a bit baggy so maybe I could wear XXS in jackets. They had a cool bomber jacket on the men's aisle that I wish they had on the women's aisle as well! I think Everlane's clothes are on the pricier side but they feel nice and I hope to get a lot of wears out of the pieces I bought!

In retrospect, I should have just mailed the return in as I had originally planned. The male salesperson helped me out, scanned the item, and I thought the return was complete. However, when I went home and checked my receipts, I realized that I had gotten incorrectly charged for an exchange for a $100 sweater instead of getting refunded for the full amount of the return item (keep in mind, I just returned the coat and left in less than 5 minutes; I certainly did not purchase any items or make an exchange). I called the store and am hoping the mistake will get fixed and I'll get reimbursed the full amount but this was super frustrating and has never happened to me with another company before - I'm still at a lost for how I could have gotten charged for an item that I didn't purchase....
