Uptown YSL Monogram Grain de Poudre Wallet on Chain w/ Card Case

I've always walked passed this boutique wanting to go inside but never did. Eventually I thought, screw it I'm going in! Let's talk about the exterior of the store, I really like the windows and sleek design. I like how you can see the bags from the outside, it really entices you to go in. I already had an idea of what I wanted as I watched a lot of reviews online. The sales associate that helped me was Vanessa. She was really great and easy to talk to. She showed me options and different colors of the bag I wanted - I did not feel like she was being pushy at all, she sorta let me do my thing and gave me advice when I asked her how she felt about certain products. I was really nervous going in, but I am happy that I had a great first time experience at a luxury brand boutique.

Great experience! It was a weekday so not a lot of people at the mall. This boutique is limiting customers inside, which is nice. Social distancing outside the door is enforced. They offer hand sanitizer as you walk in. The staff are pleasant including the security. Nice selection of bags. The associate who assisted me was friendly and i didn't feel pressured to buy, unlike others. She also gave me time on my own to try things on. Ended up making a purchase.

I was nervous going into this store location because of the negative reviews on here. So my first choice was to go to the Bloomingdales boutique since I had a stellar experience at the Louis Vuitton at Bloomingdales. Since I was going for exchanging purposes my only choice was this location since the Bloomingdales YSL cannot support exchanges. I was greeted by Sissa, the sales supervisor. She was helpful with my exchange process and was very nice. Great customer service from her! Vincent was also very friendly and informative. He was my primary helper during my second visit and assisted me in purchasing a bag. His excellent customer service made me feel comfortable in the store especially as a new customer. I'm very happy with my transactions here and I look forward to my future visits!

Came in peak Saturday afternoon. There was a line outside the door but we didn't have to wait too long. We were assigned to Giovanni and immediately hit it off. He was very friendly and offered us beverages while we shopped. We were looking for a wallet and he was able to find the exact one we wanted. Giovanni was awesome. This was the best service I've had at YSL period. We've been to multiple locations in the states and this was the best experience of them all. Thank you G.

I enjoy the customer service and patience this store gave me. The person who helped me was named, "G," but I forgot his exact name (shame on me). He was really patient for my indecisive choices and was helpful in the process. As far as I know, I don't like being pushed around (*Cough* like the LV store next door) ,but G was calm, GENUINELY sweet, and knowledgable about the products. The store only allow a few people/party at a time, depending how many reps are available, but I highly prefer that way since I can browse more products without other customers in the way. I'll most likely come back for another Saint Laurent bag in the future.

Had an great first experience here. Decided to venture into Saint Laurent to try on a couple of bags since I was already in the area and don't have one where I live. You have to wait in line until a sales associate can get to you which can be super quick or super slow depending on the people they are working with. We were the first in line and it took about 15-20 mins to get in. Shae helped us and she was so nice and helpful. Brought out all the options I asked for. Didn't rush me or pressure me into a purchase. Got me in and out quick. Easily one of the better experiences I've had in a luxury store.

They mainly sell vintage and modern secondhand clothes, bags, and shoes for women and men, but they also have new pottery from a designer called Familiar. The store is spacious and carefully curated. There is no thrift shop smell and it looks more like a cute boutique than a secondhand store. You can sell your clothes there, too. There are two floors of women's clothes and a separate men's shop across a little courtyard in the back. Most of the customers when I was there were young adults of both sexes. The store was busy on a Saturday in the late afternoon. Fortunately, they have a dedicated parking lot behind the shop with plenty of spaces. The staff welcomed me immediately when I walked in. I was interested in looking at purses and they had quite a few vintage and newer ones from designers like Coach, Tory Burch, Kate Spade, and Dooney & Bourke. I didn't buy any, but enjoyed checking out what they had to offer. I didn't pay too much attention to the clothes, except to notice that women's pant sizes on the second floor only seemed to go up to size 11/12. If they had bigger sizes, I didn't see them. Overall, I was impressed with Black and Brown and would like to go back.

It took some time to find items that interested me as I looked through the entire store (two floors for women and one for men). Some items were over priced but you can find some good gems here. The thing I love about shopping here is they seem to always have exactly what I'm looking for. I went in recently hoping to find a blouse for my 70 y/o mom as a gift and found two equally perfect, trendy yet tasteful options. And they both look great on her. They always have my last-minute amazing date night outfit or summer dress. I am pretty much guaranteed to find my next favorite pair of jeans for a steal any given day. A lot of my work wardrobe is from Bombshell. The only "cons" would be maybe the parking (during peak downtown busy hours or farmer's mkt), and I wish they were open earlier and/or later, but it's not unusual for a small business.

I love that it offers a true boutique shopping experience without the boutique price tag, and I can usually count on finding something I love. Unfortunately, my experience today (3/18) fell short of what I've come to expect over the years. When I walked in, I wasn't greeted, which is something I've always appreciated in the past--it really sets a welcoming tone. Jocelyn eventually helped me into a dressing room, but along the way there were several missed opportunities for basic customer service. I was browsing with my arms full, and at no point was I offered help holding items or starting a fitting room, which would have made shopping easier. When I was ready to try things on, I was asked to sort and count my items due to the 6-garment limit. I completely understand and respect that policy as a way to manage inventory in a small business. However, during that process, a few items fell behind the counter and weren't addressed at the time. Once in the dressing room, there was no check-in to see how things were fitting or if I needed different sizes or colors--something I've consistently experienced and appreciated during past visits. I did ask to swap out items, and Jocelyn was helpful and pleasant in doing so. At checkout, the items that had fallen behind the counter were brought up again, and I was asked if I wanted to try them on. Since I was already dressed, I declined, but it would have been helpful if those had been handled earlier. There was only one other customer in the store, who had already checked out by the time I was in the fitting room, so it didn't seem particularly busy. I've always associated Bombshell Boutique with attentive, thoughtful service--being greeted, having items held, and receiving support in the dressing room. That level of care makes a big difference and is part of why I've been a loyal customer for so long. This visit just felt a bit lackluster in comparison. I'll definitely be back, but I hope this was just an off day.

I was approached by a very friendly employee who asked if I needed any help. While I saw items I was interested in knowing more about, I was on a time limit and knew I wouldn't have time to even try anything on. I really wanted to do a quick walk around of the store to see what merchandise they had and to take a mental note. They had a live embroiderer near the dressing rooms who was embroidering things for clients. They also had little mini chocolate croissants with cute branded Sezane napkins near the shoe area. I think I was approached by two employees who were nice and personable. While I did not get greeted by others when I was in their area of the store. This is just a pop-up shop still -- its not a permanent location. There is one in SF apparently. I've been to the one in NYC and the pop-up shop in LA in the past. Sezane is on the higher price point, but I do still love the brand and would love to see more boutiques to visit for an in person shopping experience. I do believe that if you invest in pieces from this brand, they will be timeless, as I still would wear the items I purchased many years ago today.

I know this is the Bay Area, but I'm not about to drop $100+ per piece at a DTC brand without seeing it in person first. (My mom dressed me in clearance JCPenney and hand-me-downs as a kid.) I've been inside this specific store twice and the one in SF once. The day I made my purchase was a weekend, whereas my other two visits were on weekdays. On weekdays, the store is pretty much empty. I think for shopping in store at Sezane, that is the preference. My biggest peeve with both the SF and SJ stores (and I assume this is a feature of all their stores) is the cubby wall. They could have put multiple racks in that space, but instead they have a massive wall of cubbies with a different style in each cubby. They're all folded, and I was told you need to point out an item and have the employee take it out to show it to you. The same employee then has to find your size and refold and put back what was taken out. This is literally the dumbest thing I've ever seen in a clothing store. What if I want to see every single piece? How do I even know what the fabric feels like, or if it's sleeveless, or if it's a sweater? You don't, unless you've memorized the Sezane online catalog and know exactly what you're looking for. I could just feel the employee's annoyance every time I asked to see a new style. I would have LOVED to browse more, but the store was very busy, and I didn't want to be a burden. On the weekend day I finally bought something, there was one cashier and there was a line rapidly building behind me as there was a customer who had some sort of involved issue. There was no backup cashier called (not sure they have that capability), and we all just had to wait. I also really wanted to see some dresses in person, but they barely had any - maybe 3 or 4 styles whereas they have a lot online! The clothes are beautiful and maybe if you are shopping 1:1 with an employee on a less busy day, it could even be fun!
