Popped by on a whim because I was looking for a specific chain belt style that I knew Chanel carried. There wasn't a line and I was ushered in quickly. The manager of this location assisted me and he was so friendly and helpful. He allowed me to try on all the various belts they had that I was interested in and also pulled out one that wasn't on display. There's also a seperate section primarily for clothing on the upper level. No security present so I just wandered in. There's a hidden closet as well, and the associate kindly opened it up for me without any prompts. I'm looking forward to standalone store opening which is slated for Fall 2026 (maybe sooner is construction gets done quickly!). Gloria assisted me and provided alot of knowledge on the different items/bags I was interested in. She gave me the same service I'd provide to my own clients in my business. False advertising on hours. Unreliable and bad service! Do not trust the 7:00 PM closing time listed online for the Chanel Boutique inside Neiman Marcus Palo Alto. I visited the San Francisco boutique first, where staff confirmed the exact item I wanted was in stock here. I drove out to Palo Alto specifically for this piece, arriving at 6:45 PM. Even though a transaction for a confirmed item takes less than 15 minutes and other customers were still inside, the sales associate refused to serve me. When I brought up the posted hours, both the associate and the store manager stated that they strictly close at 6:30 PM. It is completely unacceptable for a luxury brand to advertise a 7:00 PM closing time while enforcing a secret 6:30 PM cut-off. Do not waste your time driving here late in the day. Was in the store for shoes but decided to pop in the boutique to see what new earrings & necklaces they had. Did not have to wait, was greeted by Gloria with a big smile and sweet personality. Big warning!!! The Chanel boutique store at Neiman Macus Palo Alto re-sells used handbags as new and sells "worn' bags - perhaps Chanel quality is going downhills now as all articles and TVs reflect so. Sales there include Roxanne Bxxxx, Sdjourney, J..s.. all... even state "worn" conditions of "new bags" with manufacturing defects. Chanel confirms!! Barefoot Crooks. I had been looking for a specific bag for a long while now, since it's a classic it's been sold out in many places (Bay Area, LA, Vegas, Hawaii, etc.). One day I walked in here with my husband and toddler. Eli was very welcoming and came to assist us with friendly attitude and smile. We told him exactly what we wanted; he showed us one that's bigger version. Decided not to take it because it looked big on me (I'm quite petite). Eli offered to mark down my contact information and let me know as soon as my bag arrives. I said ok, left information and walked away. I did not expect him to really contact me because many sales associates said the same thing but they never did. A little over a week later, I got a text from Eli in the morning and said they have the bag came in and if I was still interested. Of course I was. Made an appointment to see him the same day and got my bag before lunch time. What a perfect gift for Christmas this year. Eli had made this purchase very smoothly; he was never "pushy" or "hot-selling" me whatever they have in stock. I would recommend asking for Eli if you want to purchase anything Chanel. read more

Most of my Chanel items are shoes purchased through Neiman's and Saks. I purchased one handbag while in Paris, but my purchase history did not transfer from Europe to the US. I'm used to doing a lot of my purchases online, but Chanel doesn't sell handbags online, and if you want to purchase by phone from a boutique, you have to have a profile and buying history. My husband took me to the Chanel boutique at Neiman's on a Saturday evening. It was busy, and we waited for about five to 10 minutes. The store is small, but they do have plenty of purses and SLG items. You won't find jewelry, watches, or RTW items here, but you can find leather goods! Nikki was my sales associate and she was very helpful, kind, and personable. She explained which items were timeless, how many she had in stock, and gave me feedback on which items looked good for my style, height, etc. I ended up purchasing a sweetheart purse with adjustable strap and a black wallet on chain in caviar. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Nikki will be my go-to for sure! read more

These two rude asian saleswomen, one younger thinks she's all that yet far from it and another old shorter maid looking one were the worst sales of all Chanel stores guaranteed. I had a very pleasant experience visiting this Chanel boutique inside Neiman Marcus. Fashion Advisor, Siggy was very professional, pleasant, nice, and accommodating to me as a first-time Chanel buyer. She was very helpful, answered my questions (i.e. looked up items I was looking for, but not available at the store, or not available at all, of which she provided explanation), asked me questions as well to learn my style and preferences, so she can make recommendations. She provided items that I was interested in and offered for me to try them on. She made me feel comfortable the entire time. I didn't feel rushed. I truly appreciate Siggy's excellent services. My wife works with three Chanel boutiques, and this particular location in Neimans has always been a joy to interact with. Recently walked in solo for the first time for a gift and I had no idea who my wife's point of contact is. I ended up with the first sales associate available and she was on point. Grabbed the purse I was looking for, answered a few questions, rang me up, and provided a card so I didn't have to go to a Hallmark store. Nothing but great things to say about this location. I don't know about this rope system at the entrances that's become a thing with some of these brands recently. When I walked up I was asked to wait for the 1st associate available. My question was "How long would that be?" The response was the sales rep walking up behind the 'guard'(?) saying "Right now". That matters. Had the answer been "a few minutes" I would have turned around and continued on with my life. This is provided only as feedback for these types of stores. I get why it has to be done for security, and lets be honest, for their brand, but it's a real turn off for people like me that just want to walk in, look, buy, and be out within 15 minutes. read more

My fiance bought me Chanel for my birthday this year. Although we've been together for 13 years he still seems to impress me. I went into the store to exchange my gift for another pair although the one he got me was beautiful, I had my eyes on something else. The girl that was helping us was very helpful. They had a lot of selections of purses and sunglasses. You do have to stand in line as they open the Rope for you to get in and out they don't let too many people in at once. Everyone there was very welcoming and they made our shopping experience nice. read more

I joined family to make a purchase as I admit I'd rather have the $$ in the wallet. You need to make reservations. Staff was very pleasant. Remember an I Magnin experience years ago where salesperson gave us a distain look asking for a pricey boot that we ended up buying. Just wanted to say thank you to Andrew H. at the Chanel inside Neiman Marcus. He is by far the best sales associate we have ever worked with. Professional, kind, knowledgeable. We came in to return one of the Chanel's that my fiance had a change of heart on and didn't make a purchase. Nonetheless, Andrew helped us with registering her other bag and went in depth about the warranties on it. Most sales associates we have worked with at these high end retailers are condescending and snarky even when we are highly motivated to make a purchase. limited selection, store is very small, always have to wait in line. Don't recommend coming here if you want to purchase any chanel items. This location doesn't sell jewelry or watches, you need to go to the luxury watch section at NM to purchase. However, the NM service is really good if you are interested in chanel jewelry or watches though their selection is also very limited. read more

The store was empty with no line when I got there, probably because people knew all the bags were sold out as soon as they were released! I will not be returning to this store. I received horrible service from this location. I have never experienced such a lack of service at any other Chanel location before. I will be taking my business elsewhere. I was ignored while waiting in line for over 10 min and the sales rep ignored me and didn't even acknowledge my presence.
