Here's a hospital system that doesn't even deserve a star as a whole they went from world class to…read morelast class, the only thing they excel at is ordering useless expensive tests by unqualified NP's or PA's that are not Dr's and you can't see a Dr unless you can wait 6 months and for the most part the only Dr's they hire goes with the old joke "What do you call the doctor that finished last in their class? Doctor" as a whole this once great hospital system has been destroyed by poor management and greed, drive to Albany or Binghamton don't put your life in their hands, absolutely useless as a health care network all they want to do is continuously order useless and irrelevant tests to drive up billable expenses and CURE NOTHING nor do they help patients they are only all about the Benjamin's and don't care about patients. Nasty miserable people and when you call them, what a joke you speak to someone in the Phillipines that doesn't speak English and their billing department is now their also and WOW what a joke that is they specialize in new math 2+2=100 haven't received a bill that was right since billing went to Philippines. Not to mention notice they haven't claimed this on yelp if they did, they would have 0 stars what a joke

The care you receive here depends entirely on what department you visit and who you see. Very hit…read moreand miss. I've had some problems with nurses and hygiene, but as long as you watch to make sure that they wash their hands properly, you should be fine. The urgent care now requires an appointment, so it isn't very convenient.

Much better than the disaster area that is the office in the Hannaford plaza, but still kind of…read moresucks because most of the good people have left. Parking can kind of stink, and once you get inside it's a cavalcade of condescending receptionists, office staff that barrage you with a thinly veiled "Oh, look at you being an adorable little cripple!" attitude, nurses who treated me like a (sorry for the language, but) retard, and doctors who are supposed to be helping me but can't write a prescription or be bothered to listen to my symptoms. I feel like a nuisance when I come here. I only come because I have to, and will be looking into alternatives as soon as possible.

I'm a bit late getting to the review because life .. but I made myself write it today. I had…read moregone into Bassett convenient care on River St with an issue that I knew was more than a common cold. I explained all my symptoms and what I have been doing at home to manage my symptoms.... And that I came in today because I know it was more ....so... Laura Jean Olivia was my PA.... She did a visual exam.... And said... Well, It seems it's all viral and there's nothing to be too concerned about.... I left with no real insight or any RX ... now being near 60 years old ... I know my body.... So I jumped in the car and I drove 44 min away to another urgent care... I sat in waiting room for literally 3 min.... I was called... Got a room.... Met a nurse who did my vitals.... She left and within 3 min the PA that's day came in.... I explained exactly what I have been going through just as I did an hour earlier.... And this PA did an exam on me and some very long medical terms were being mentioned as she told me her findings.... And the next words of the PA'S Mouth were, "you can definitely use a strong antibiotic at this point."... I immediately thought to myself, "yep it's really true, I can NEVER go to Bassett for anything ever again at this point.". I then went back to my hometown and grabbed TWO Rx's... !! And by the second day of taking them I already felt a difference! Moral of story.... If you go to Bassett convenient care you will leave still suffering! LJ Olivia is USELESS and in my opinion by the looks of her, age wise.... She should retire. I am convinced with all my heart that if someone went to Bassett Urgent Care for Pain in their thumb.... They would leave with the diagnosis of an ingrown pubic hair.

Noone in bathroom, toilet low, bending over to put foot in attends and rolled off on L side. Was a clear bandage with blood under it, came off so there was blood on floor. She scresmed at me and put alarm on my bed. That was not the only time she yelled at me. Writing this because keep thinking why did I not stivk up for myself. This person and one other night before I came home may stop me from ever going there again.

'Desiree' checked us in but was quick to tell us it would "be a while because they were doing reports." We sat in the empty waiting room....for over 30 min with no one updating us on when he might be seen...in the EMERGENCY ROOM. His pain getting worse I stepped up and asked Desiree if she knew how much longer we'd be waiting as we'd been there for over 30 min. and his pain was increasing. (Waiting rm still empty except us). Desiree immediately snapped at me "You don't need to come up here with all that attitude!" (The only 'attitude' I had was concern for my husband and at no time during that interaction did I so much as raise my voice. I simply asked the question). Desiree then informed me that there was a shift change going on and we'd have to wait! In the empty EMERGENCY ROOM. I went back and updated my husband who by this time was doubled over. I stood up and asked Desiree if she knew how much longer they'd be before he'd be seen. "How am I suppose to know?" She snapped at me. My husband had enough and stood up to leave telling Desiree that it was crazy to show up in the ER and be forced to wait over 30 minutes in his condition because of 'reports' being done and shift changes. Bottom line: Fox Hospital EMERGENCY ROOM is the WORST! If you're having an emergency please avoid it at all costs, especially at 7:00am when apparently 'reports' & 'shift changes' outweigh the health and safety of patients having true emergencies. Side bar, Desiree literally covered her name tag up with her hand when I asked for her name. She finally uncovered her first name when the security guard walked over. We will be calling Bassett later today to report her and the poor excuse for an EMERGENCY ROOM.
