This is the second or third time I've gone there for usually a whopping sinus infection. I did one walk in and two appointments made on line. Regardless I have never had to wait long at all to receive service whether I am seeing by a PA or an NP I am always treated with professional compassionate Care I have been a nurse for 41 years and I have to say that they're always on the money in what clinically diagnosed and the medications if needed prescribed. BEWARE!!! This WellNow Urgent Care is in my network, but the doctors are not. My daughter is in college and came down with Bronchitis, so she went to WellNow in April of 2024 because they are in my network, confirmed by my health insurance. WellNow charged my daughter out-of-network cost of $165 for her visit which should have been in-network and only $15. After repeated phone calls with WellNow billing department they admitted that the visit should have been in-network and only $15 and would reimburse my daughter the $150 she is owed in 30-45 days. After months, they still had not reimbursed my daughter so I spoke with my insurance company who contacted WellNow billing department on my behalf and my insurance called me back to say it has been corrected and that WellNow will reimburse my daughter the $150 within 45 days. As of today, 08/28/2024, not only has WellNow not reimbursed my daughter, but I received a bill in the mail from Doctor Krystyna Koryzma, who treated my daughter, for out-of-network expenses of $334, in addition. How is this even possible??? My daughter goes to an in-network urgent care for serious issues but the doctors that work there are not in-network? My daughter should have been informed prior to treatment. How is it this doctor is not billing through WellNow so it is in-network? If one does not pay their doctor bill after 4 months, I'm sure WellNow would threaten collections. Brought my daughter to WellNow to be seen. Indeed up having seen in the ER because of the worse effect that this nurse practioner, KRYSTYNA KORYZMA done to the patient's condition. Never seen a patient that comes out the room in so much pain and tears and bleeding, that this NP denied it and said she is fine, it's not bleeding when in fact she did lacerate her ear canal. read more

They did covid test-rapid and send out. The rapid came back negative. Spoke with the lab (mybostonheart) 3 days later and was advised there was no lab specimen in the vial. WTF... really????? Stay away from this place read more

The "doctor" I had wasn't even medically trained, he was a PA. I had something wrong with my eye and wanted to get it checked out. All he did was finger tests to see if I could follow his finger, and asked if it hurt and I said it did a little bit. Didn't even do any actual tests on my eye. He leaves and comes back and tells me I need to go to the emergency room quickly because I have cellulitis of the right orbit, he made that diagnosis just by looking at it. All that just for the ER to tell me I just have pink eye, and they actually did a test on my eye. Now I gotta pay a hospital bill for absolutely no reason. The ER doctor even told me "you're the fourth person they've sent over here today for no emergent reason" Stay away from this place. Would rate it 0 stars if I could. read more

We were billed improperly, we tried to contact for over 6 months but they don't offer a live person for customer service, they ask you to send an email but never reply. They were threatening to send our account to collection even though they didn't bill the insurance company although provided this at time of the service. Numerous attempts over months To get them to file insurance properly was never accomplished bc they do not respond. Don't go to this place, go directly to the hospital ER department. read more

This place is heaven sent. The care is compassionate and thorough. They bent over backwards to make us comfortable. It is the cleanest and most modern urgent care hands down. They treat you like family. It's a 20 minute drive from Cooperstown but worth it. I hope that they expand into the Pittsburgh market. I filled out the form on line and gave them my insurance info, traditional Medicare. I went to my appointment and they told me I had to pay 108.00 dollars of the 117.00 bill up front. I was surprised, because for 20 years I've had no issue with using Medicare. They told me that they changed their policy recently and that if I had secondary insurance then they would accept insurance payment in full. It would have been nice if I had been told that when registering online. "We do not accept traditional Medicare as payment, bring cash". I left without treatment. I'll probably get a bill for not being treated. What a waste of time. I'm an RN and have been around the medical block quite a few times in my life. It seems like of the 6 people in the waiting room all the issues were about insurance payment. I do not recommend this establishment. It's cheaper for me to go to an ER with Medicare. read more

The COVID test performed for me there was awesome. Usually when I got swabbed at work I would have a migraine all night but not here, they are soo gentle and just soo amazing and professional. Not happy. went in last week cause my hand was swollen and red. I was in so much pain. I thought my hand was infected. They told me I had either trigger finger or a bruised bone. By the next day I was in the ER. I had septic Joint!!! Spent 3 days in the ER on IV antibiotics. I understand this is not an ER, But they can do xrays and blood test. The NP came in spent maybe 1 minute with me and that was it. read more

My husband and I went for his DOT. The first young lady was pleasant and made an appointment for us for 1:25pm. She could not have been any friendlier. We come back and there is another women there. Who treated me and my husband as though we were infants the way she spoke to us. I sit down to help him with his information. She then speaks to my husband knowing fully well I'm there "That No one can wait in the waiting area! Do to COVID Restriction. Should of said that from the beginning! If you can not handle customer service then you should be in the back! It's the way you speak to people goes a long way! We will NOT BE RETURNING BACK! read more

I only give one star because of the nurse who was understanding and sweet. The receptionist was cold and uninviting. And the doctor was the WORST I have ever met. Zero bedside manor, not empathetic at all and extremely rushy! I felt judged as soon as she walked in and she was presumptuous and rude! DONT BECOME A DOCTOR IF YOU DONT WANT TO HELP PEOPLE! I got a laceration on my finger and I came in bleeding a lot. I asked simply for some gauze and cling wrap to stop the bleeding while I wait till be seen. They said "no we can't help you that would be considered treatment." They ended up telling me to go to the ER for more help since their wait time was 1.5 hours. I understand it's not an ER BUT the ER saw me immediately because they saw how much blood I was losing. It's also run by NP, not doctors so it makes sense but at the same time if you have someone actively bleeding in front of your face and they simply ask for something to soak up the blood and cover their wounds to avoid infection you should do so. This is a very poorly run operation administratively. I had to get up at midnight to make an appointment for a COVID test today which turned out to be a 1:00 PM appointment. When I showed up at 1 o'clock they told me it was going to be 30 to 45 minute wait to get my test. An hour later I went in and demanded to have my test done immediately. At that point they advised me that there were still four or five people ahead of me and I would be called when it was time. I finally got in for my test. The test was very well administered. However when I came out to the front I was told that it would be 25 minutes for my results. On my previous visit it was only 10 minutes for the results. When I prepared to pay for my bill the front desk staff told me that it was all good,that I had a credit on my account. Obviously they had not processed my previous payment from four days prior. They said they would try to get in touch with me if they needed more money. This is a very Mickey Mouse operation. read more

Went to this place after I experienced a lot of swelling and severe pain in my hand, they sent me home with the diagnosis of a BRUISE after barely glancing at it. Two days later I went to fox hospital, and they determined it was an infection and sent me home with an antibiotic that wasn't strong enough to even kill strep and an opioid for the pain. Two days later I had to drive down one-handed to Long Island to go to Stonybrook hospital and ended up there for five days with IV antibiotics and 12 blood tests. Charges a huge co pay for sub-par results. read more

This place is horrible!!! My daughter went here for a covid test and arrived at 11:45am on a Saturday morning and checked in online as she was advised too. The most amount of people ahead of her on line were 28. She was told by employees inside the urgent care center to wait in her car and that she would be called when it was her turn and not to leave the parking lot and if she was not there when they called she would lose her turn and be placed at the end of the line. Long story short, my daughter last in her car until close to 8pm. It is inexcusable for an urgent care to take close to 8 hours to see 28 patients and it is inexcusable for an urgent care to tell the patients they must stay in the parking lot until they are called and that if they are not they will lose their place in line. If It was allowed, I would give this place a negative review. read more

Fast and friendly service! Helped me where the other town urgent care triage when I called to schedule an appt told me to go to my primary care physician when my issue had been looked at there previously and was something that even their own literature said they see people for. I couldn't get in to my primary care so I went to Well Now instead. Well Now saw me no questions asked except ID, insurance and issue. They have gained my business after that! Right into a room, lpn in the room in less than five minutes, PA in the room five mins after that. Tv in the treatment rooms which was nice to calm nerves and a Pac Man game in the waiting room with a slushy machine in the lobby. Definitely will use again! So much faster than a traditional convenient care. Nice facility, clean everywhere with friendly, efficient people. I'm picky about where I go and what my wait times are- they were amazing.
