But I had to get on here and leave a good review because of my experience with the staff at Anjou Spa. We were on our way to Bend from California early Saturday morning and 2 hours into our drive we hit a deer that ran right front of us at 70+ mph totaling out car. After making sure everyone was ok and we contacted insurance and tow company one of the first things I thought of was the air bnb and massages at a spa we booked and paid for. I also work as a cosmetologist at a salon and spa so I immediately wanted to let the spa know we weren't gonna be able to make it as soon as possible. The reception Was very understanding and checked to make sure we were all ok and apologized that it happened to us and so graciously (without argument ) refunded our "non refundable" deposit. They definitely did NOT have to do that as i agreed to the deposit and the salons terms and completely understand since I am I service provider myself who works at a salon that also enforces a cancellation policy. Their compassion for our situation was truly amazing and I am very grateful for their understanding and willingness to refund our deposit making our situation a little less painful.. I will absolutely be happy to book With them again in the near future when we can finally make it to bend. Top tier customer service and we are so appreciative. Thank you Anjou Spa! See you soon

I was kind of kidnapped and found myself outside getting a great treatment in this awesome location. I have had many treatments over the years but none more relaxing. Location: Located on Newport Avenue across from Newport Market, good parking on street or just be creative parking somewhere, in a respectful Bend kind of way. If you have not been inconvenienced with the nightmare construction on Newport Avenue over the last couple of years, well it is almost completed so all of these companies need your YELP HELP and support. Newport is set to reopen on July 1, 2022. Buildout: Nice older, okay old Bend home converted into a relaxing spa environment. Nothing over the top but very eclectic, clean, and fun. Service area: While the rooms inside looked great, I was outside and I think for me the right zen place. I would highly recommend my service as it was less of the hardcore painful extractions or acid washes and was more geared toward treating the skin from the dryness, and a great upper body massage. Menu: Most of the normal spa items but I was just in for a relaxing outdoor facial. They have a great menu of services on their website. Service: Awesome, 60 minute facial but it was so relaxing I may have fallen asleep so it could have been 30 or 90, I am not sure : ) Esthetician / Owner Donna was great and was face whisperer for sure. I don't care for the standard fluffy facials that aren't helping to restore my skin. Lisa has a wide variety of machines that she uses and can create a personalized facial for your specific needs at that time. One of the machines that I have seen great results with is the Micro-Current Machine. It has reduced my fine lines, the texture and appearance of my skin is much healthier but my favorite result of Micro-Current is the lifting of my top eyelid. Now my black eye liner isn't smudging on my upper eye lid. Her studio is so warm and inviting on the 2nd floor of the Blissful Heart. Lisa herself is a smart business woman who is always looking to bring the best products and technologies to her clients. She is excellent at communicating whether its your skin care needs or scheduling appointments.
