I was so nervous about getting a facial, but then several friends mentioned Katie at Skin Prophecy so I decided to give them a try. I am so glad I did! Katie took the time to listen to my skin concerns and really paid attention when I said that my skin was sensitive. She is always careful to use products that won't cause a reaction & always watches carefully to make sure that I truly don't have one. I highly recommend getting the hydro-facial and asking for a jelly mask! The hydro-facial is a little more expensive, but definitely worth it, at least every once in awhile. I also get microdermabrasion here and I have not had some of the same reactions as my friends have from getting it at other places. They also have their own skin care lines and makeup, and sell makeup that considered 'clean'. I didn't realize I was using such heavy products on my face until I started using theirs! At my initial intake, I brought in all my make up and products and she read over all the ingredients. They take a holistic approach, which I love bc so many lifestyle choices, products and things like food habits or hair products touching your face can all affect your skin. Becky was SO thorough and always gave samples for me to try their products. Now she offers two options, one that you leave on for six or more hours to develop and another that will develop in as little as an hour or two and more over time. I have been going to Skin Prophecy for about 6 months now getting treatments from Rebecca Estrada for my acne. I had been trying to treat it at home with natural remedies and tons of products and nothing seemed to work. Once I had my first treatment with Rebecca, I gained so much understanding and she gave me answers about my skin that I had been wondering about for a long time.
