1. Knowledgeable and professional. Shelby, the owner is the aesthetician. She's quite knowledgeable about her products and skin. She educated, but did not up sell. She's a natural at this and I look forward to returning. I told her I liked deeper pressure on the Massage part and she was great. They offer a red light therapy on your face and your neck. This is why I decided to give them a try. 2. Ambience. What a cute little spa. When you walk in, you feel like you've just stepped into an oasis. Welcoming chairs, water for you, some lovely items from Jewelry to skin care products, as well as work out and hat attire. It was well spaced, so it was relaxing, but there was some thing to peruse while you're waiting if you wish. 3. I spoke with her husband, who is also her business, partner, and Lisa, at the front. They both were very good. Scheduling was easy. I actually got quite sick and so I had to reschedule and they were very understanding. 4. Easy parking across the street at CVS. I'm so happy to have discovered this spa for Facials. 5. Homegrown, local. She grew up here and has decided to stay and invest in her community. After years of over threading my eyebrows, I finally found Shelby! I struggled with finding a consistent, reliable person that could do my eyebrows without thinning them out too much. Threading and waxing caused me to break out as my skin is very sensitive. Often times, my eyebrows/skin would be so red and bumpy from the irritation. However, I discovered sugaring from Shelby and I'm so glad I did. Shelby is very professional, friendly and has a great aseptic technique. The spa is super clean and has a very welcoming feel to it. Shelby did sugaring on my eyebrows. The whole process was painless and Shelby really took her time to make sure that I was comfortable and that I loved the results. Shelby was recommended through social media and after 6 months of not getting waxed I finally felt safe and ready to get them waxed. Making an appointment online was super easy. Due to Covid, the table was set up outside but it's still very private. I had a lip wax and brow wax and she did an amazing job. My brows are super tricky bc they are two totally different shapes, naturally. She kept the thickness of them and managed to shape them into actually looking alike. I love my brows now!
