I was so lucky to have Kirsten as my esthetician for my first lash lift. I haven't worn mascara since my appointment (3 weeks ago) and my lashes are just as curled as when I walked out of the spa. I have faded micro bladed eyebrows so I decided to see if Kirsten could do anything with my sad eyebrows before I'm forced to get them touched up. My fine eyebrow hairs point downwards and just don't do very much. Kirsten not only cleaned up my eyebrows with a wax and lamination but she TRANSFORMED them. A hidden gem conveniently located up State Street. I've dealt with relentless adult acne for the past four years and was pretty much resigned to my skin behaving bizarrely forever. In September, I booked a Hydrafacial at Lucent as an impulse buy for a "me" day. I usually get a facial once a year and wasn't expecting more than some time to relax. I got a phenomenal facial from Diana, who is insanely talented and so skilled at what she does! Though I was expecting to just pop in and out, she immediately took to getting a thorough understanding of my skin, its problems, the products I use, and my skincare routine. She gently suggested I make facials a regular thing and confidently stated "We can get you to a point of not needing to wear foundation in no time." Challenge accepted. Sure enough, after about four more appointments, I can go foundation-free after nearly a decade of daily wear. My weirdly-behaving acne is almost gone and no longer pops out when I'm stressed, eat dairy, or go through hormonal times. That being said I am so happy I went anyways, I made an appointment with the owner herself and I couldn't be happier. We started off with simple eyelash extensions as I have never had them before and wanted to start off with not as dramatic. They ended up absolutely beautiful. I just had my second appointment yesterday for an eyelash fill and a spray tan. I think I will definitely be doing more dramatic lashes my next appointment but she takes her time and makes them absolutely beautiful, natural looking. They feel amazing and the quality is awesome and I now have super gorgeous eyelashes. This was my first spray tan I have ever gotten in my life so again, super nervous. I'm not even too comfortable with myself naked let alone someone else seeing me but she made it so comfortable and walked me through the whole thing. I was terrified of that spray tan "orange" but I look glowing and can't wait to go to a wedding tomorrow. I will recommend 1,000% to go here for any of your skincare needs!! Rachael was really nice and took her time doing my eyelash extensions. I think she has great talent applying eyelashes, they suit my eyes well! The eyelash extensions are comfortable and feel weightless attached to my natural lashes. They also give my lashes more length and volume without looking too dramatic for the daytime or for work.
