Still, the policy itself spoke volumes. Their website and advertisements say "walk-ins welcome" and "FREE consultation," yet they refused to cancel my appointment within minutes of booking. To me, that's misleading and not a good look for a company built on beauty and trust.

Sugaring is an interesting, up and coming technique in California, although it is used around the world and has been for centuries we are just starting to see this method really become available. As far as pain goes removing the hair was painless for me but the spreading of the sugar felt a little uncomfortable. Where with waxing the application of wax is painless and the removal is uncomfortable. The main difference between the two, that I noticed is that I had less hair grow back after my first sugaring. I tried sugaring instead of waxing because my friends (in various other SoCal cities) all really enjoyed the results. And I am a fan too! So I definitely recommend westlake sugaring and Jennifer for any hair removal! Take this opportunity to try sugaring and chances are you will not go back to waxing.
